  4. Ok now the tears have really started flowing. The song has finally done it I guess. I really have trouble getting over this. I know it may seem out of place writing this but now all I hope is for Jake to be fine and to stay with us for many years to come.

  12. Heath Ledger Depression Worried Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Williams

Heath Ledger had been battling a vicious bout of depression before his mysterious death from an apparent overdose on Tuesday. “He adored his daughter Matilda, and when Michelle called it quits, he missed Matilda so much that he was thrown into a deep dark depression.”

    The Daily Mail reports:

“Heath was shattered by his split from Michelle,” the source told Mail Online, adding: “He became a recluse. He barely slept he was dealing with terrible mood swings.”

“Heath totally wanted to be on his own these past few months since he and Michelle split in September. She was very much in love with him, but the fact he continued to dabble in drugs kept their relationship from being one she could rely on.”

“Heath was living in New York to be close to his daughter. But he hardly ever ventured out anymore.”

“His close friend and Brokeback co-star, Jake Gyllenhaal has been worried about him for months. And he knew Heath was sinking further into a depression. Jake is Matilda’s godfather, and he and Heath had become really close since they did the film Brokeback together.”

“Jake wanted Heath to get help, but he refused, and now it looks as though he may have died of a drug overdose.”

“Michelle will be devastated by the news, because she always hoped he would get help and they could manage to work out their relationship for the sake of their daughter.”

  15. Life is so unfair. Why would this happen to a sensitive beautiful person like Heath. Its all kinds of wrong. I wish this were yesterday and I didn't know this :(

God Bless You Heath. You're an angel now for real, but were always one to me.

  16. RIP Heath I didn't see that report about Jake on the E! website. Did you see it there or on the channel?

  17. Devastating news. I am too upset to even think right now. So much potential lost and that beautiful child left without such a loving father. I am waiting for someone to say it was all a big mistake.

  18. I am just stunned by the news. I
can hardly believe it! He really
    was an incredibly talented actor.
My deepest sympathy goes out to
    his family, Michelle, Matilda, and
    all his friends (including Jake).
It is so hard to believe-he was
only 28. I did not know it until
    this morning.

  19. My sister emailed me at work about it and I was shocked.

    Rest in peace Heath

Condolences to Matilda, the Ledger family, Michelle Williams, the Williams family, all of Heath's HW, NY and Australian family and friends and to all his fans.

Another talent gone way too soon.

  21. Goodbye, goodbye, or as is fitting in some cases, then there go way shrouded in the cloud of mystery, as the chronicles deserve, then there go way in silence, Australian foreign land, as they are occupied by the duel Clinton / Obama Americans will soon stop to talk about you, decant your praise. Actor not only beautiful but good actor, you excited in a few key roles but magnificent, beautiful young River Phoenix and cursed for excellence. At the beginning of your career you call the new James Deen and how do you correct rule, you followed his footprints becoming immortal. Younger for eternity. Eternal like all those characters has given you life and how those who will not be able to interpret, as Dugan (my Dugan)-c always said 'it's time to die, but not... there was not enough ..
You go way , you and your sad eyes, hypnotic eyes from the deep blacks. You look from the rebels, from the uncomfortable position, evil life. You, you knew, although short time, be a good father. Of you will remain forever imprinted such an unfortunate and desperate while ruling "Jack… I swear..." Now we know that the end was another. Who you appreciated you crying, those of us who deeply loved Brokeback Mountain to my Ennis that never grow old, who will always be beautiful and sad when to riding how far and wide the place of love, as when kneel with a hat held on the chest in the tent. Like when you were on Brokeback Mountain...on Brokeback Mountain forever...
