  2. Damn it's comedy.

Appearance at UN let's see if he really shows up before jumping up and down. Why would Reese want him there? Jeese would steal the spotlight from such a worthy cause. It is about Women's Day. Not Jeese.

You know this isn't real right?

Sorry Wicked and Special I just had to. Goes back into hiding.

    "As a woman" - priceless :D

    Sorry Spesh, couldn't resist :D
Very cute post, esp. the swim trunks :)*

read - re. previous thread. No. I don't particularly enjoy seeing Jake being called names, and I never do that myself. Equally, I don't need a holier than thou to tell me how and what to see, feel or think. Is it clear enough now?

  11. Spesh, this is v. funny.

BTW, have people heard that a movie production studio is being proposed for Weymouth, MA? It would be great for MA artists to get more industry here. I believe Michelle Williams is filming in Boston soon.

Maggie's dress in the last post reminds me of a dress Six wears in the Battlestar Galactica mini-series.

  12. Sorry, C. Gibson, you will have no voice here. Go back to Babble.

  13. I read C's post but then I lost my link :) I saw his reveal at WFT. Never done anything illegal in my life.

But you're right, wicked, feeding time is over.

  15. Cute post Spesh, sounds like a fun scenario. ;)

I missed out on some of the excitement, I see, but not today's first gem of a post. I thought I recognized that barely hidden venom from somewhere - and it was Jack troll dressed as Christina Gibson! We are not woman hating at all, Jack, just because we think. What could be more pro-woman, or pro anyone. :)

That's great about a production studio coming to for Weymouth, Tinhat. Very much looking forward to Michelle in Shutter Island. ;)

There’s a new movie coming, and here are some pictures of our kids and others’ Hangin’ with the cast of Brothers on February 4, 2008. Can you tell from the delay of this posting that we’ve been rather busy? The kids had a long but enjoyable day of skating on the humble rink in Los Alamos, NM with the likes of Natalie Portman, Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire. I was particularly impressed with Jake’s response to our son, Cade, falling on the ice and banging his head. Jake took the time to come over to Cade and see if he was going to be okay. Cade was rather shy of course — the day had been rather long (approximately nine hours).

I saw Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon talking to someone on the corner of 8th Ave and 31st St, at MSG. They then said goodbye, and walked in front of my car holding hands. They both were wearing aviator sunglasses.

  24. Reese & Jake share a steak

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal enjoyed a romantic evening out with friends at New York City restaurant Prune Sunday night, onlookers tell PEOPLE.

Witherspoon, 31, and Gyllenhaal, 27, who was introducing his girlfriend to the restaurant where he's a regular, "looked really happy," says a source.

Dining with a group of six, the couple, who shared the restaurant's dry-aged ribeye steak for two, "were really cute,” adds the source. "They were really sweet together and they looked really in love."

Spotted in SoHo earlier in the day, Gyllenhaal toted a bag out of A.P.C. with the Penelope star following closely behind.

As for their whole dinner party, an onlooker says, "They were all laughing and sharing items from the menu ... They were a lively group."

Jake ate the steak she probably ate the garnish.

  28. Read the link from the family who's kids were in the ice skating scene for Brothers.

What a sweet mention of Jake making sure their little boy was okay after his spill on the ice. All those grandpa sweaters must be the reason. : )

I loved how the kids were more excited over Bailee Madison from Bridge to Terabithia than anyone else.

I thought Reese was a vegetarian. Maybe I'm wrong about this.

  30. Reese is going to fix up Vince with one of her friends? Maybe Reese is going to have a business on the side as a beard arranger. I wonder what you would call that. Beard yenta?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I thought Reese was a vegetarian.

    Maybe she gave it up

    ReplyDelete
  32. Thanks Destiny.

She could be a shiska beard yenta

Now all I will hear is "Matchmaker, Matchmaker make me match... find me a find, catch me a catch." And think of Harvey Firestein and Robin William's scene from Mrs. Doubtfire. Although Vince could pull that number off too if he worked it right.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I just watched the Splash vid - how can anyone make anything out of it, good, bad or indifferent?

It's just two actors in a shop, leaving a shop, greeting paps and getting into a car.

    ? Did I miss anything?

  34. Vince would be a great Mrs Doubtfire in a remake! I love him :D Much more appealing than Robin Williams :)

  45. In answer to your question yesterday, Wicked, the reason there is so much pressure at OMG at the moment is because attempted promotion for Reese's film Penelope. It doesn't look good to suggest that the leading lady's boyfriend really isn't giving it to her hot and heavy every night.

  47. Amazed, shopping is as American as apple pie, especially with the suburban minivan crowd. :-0

Not to mention pr thinks those fangurlswill eat this up because they want to think Reese is just like them, dragging along her boyfriend while she goes shopping. Awwww, that is so cute of Jake to do that; what red blooded american woman doesn't want a boyfriend who can be your best girlfriend too.

Besides, paps can't find you if you're in a museum or theater.

    ReplyDelete
  48. (that said, I sort of admire Reese for the UN thingy, credit where credit's due and all that)

Credit for good timing (Penelope promotion) or getting big bucks from Avon?

    ReplyDelete
  49. In answer to your question yesterday, Wicked, the reason there is so much pressure at OMG at the moment is because attempted promotion for Reese's film Penelope.

You think so? Penelope is not meant to be a big box office smash or anything, it's a small movie. It's not supposed to make a lot of money. And from what I've read, it's doing better than expected.

    I'm confused.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I've just realised why this whole thing looks so fake (I'm slow on the uptake okay).

It's just that it all looks so stressful. even from the Rome pics, if you're so bothered by paps, why put yourself to the bother. Yes shopping can be fun, but heck, you can certainly live without a couple of days handbag buying. In those last pics it looks like they've both just had the greatest violation made on the beings. well guess what guys, if you stay away from pap infested places you'll get some privacy.

If they really wanted a 'private weekend away' close to NY, why not just take an hotel suite overlooking Central Park and order room service, or there must be some very chi-chi places around NY (New Greenwich I'm guessing) where you could hole up for a cosy, sexy weekend.

This parade your love around NY, and then be affronted when the paps take photos is just plain ridiculous.

I stand by what I said before, they're both acting like prats, sorry but its true.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I am dying to see how long Reese wears the Avon bracelet, in how many pap pics. She prolly already tossed it.

TY TY for the links, whoever gave the Reese Is A Vegitarian and the Reese Eats Bacon links. Perfect example to show how she plays to the media and how easily she lies to the public when it suits her image and agenda. She does not hesitate to deceive anyone or any moral beliefs if it means padding her bank account.

Yea we hear the same ol same old:

    They were really cute
    They were really sweet together
    They looked really in love

Note how 'really' is always in the source descriptions. The word REAL is always being reiterated. As for always 'holding hands' - more like greasing each other's palms. And I don't mean for sex, get your minds outta the gutter. LOL.

Spesh/Wicked: Remember how you relentlessly made fun of the 'tiny' description always given to Reese? That seems to have disappeared from the latest set of Reeke descriptions given by 'anon' sources and in media stories. When was the last time you saw 'she's so tiny!' - its been since, well since you made fun of it. Golly Gee, what about that, it sure is odd 'tiny' disappeared overnight. Wadda ya know.

    i agree.

NYC and LA are such large cities that you can virtually "get lost" in them. I know this because i'm from NYC and lived in LA for years. If they really want privacy they can surely get it. Not to mention im sure Jake knows NYC backwards and forwards. What I don't get is why they are acting so weird about receiving the attention that they are trying way TOO HARD to get in the first place?

I’m going to try not to look at pics of these two anymore. I think this whole thing is starting to get to me in a negative way. I don’t like being manipulated.

  72. Plan on some fake sightings based on the postcard Jake had in his hand in the Jake/Reese car pics, Frick museum? Gotta do something, Ted is falling down on the job!!

It's so easy posting crap here. Jake hasn't even been sen with Chris in NY and Chris is there!!!

    ReplyDelete
  73. I just e-mailed Gawker a fake sighting of Jake and Austin at the Frick Museum and the Cloister museum doing the digital dance while Reese was at the UN.

I had to do it tonight because i don't know if Jake and Reese checked out of their hotel today.

Filming of Four Christmases resumes tomorow but i'm not sure if she is needed on the set.

Couldn't risk sending that and then find out he flew back with her.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Why would you send in a fake sighting of Jake and Austin at the Frick Museum and then announce it on this blog? I don't get it.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Because if you check the "set up" at nyc tourist board/nyc tb/dry&styling it's obvious. The last time Jake was in NY there was a Jake/Austin sighting that was sent to Ted, BTW I forwarded him the "sighting" as well just to see if he would post it.

People claiming to kow thigs always comehere and WTF to post, I noticed the Museum card i Jakes hand and I'm sure i'm not the only one.

I also got a few more sightings stored just in case he decided to stay in ny, the museum one is a bit farfetched , but it's a bit more original than a sighting in the Village.

    ReplyDelete
  76. FYI I did NOT make those ^^ asinine posts. Someone else used my name with nyctb. WTF??

Word to the stupid: Use your own made-up name.

    ReplyDelete
  77. If Spesh & Wicked check Site Meter, they'll tell you I'm not nyc tb/dry&styling.

    ReplyDelete
  78. But I sent in those sightings based on your "cryptic" hints of meet ups in NY places,I just took it one step further and sent my "sigthings" into Gawker and Ted, you would have just posted them here or WTF, if you don't want anyone to use your made name then get a blogger account.

PS: You should really stop doing stuff like that everytime pics of Jake and Reese appear, too predictable.

    ReplyDelete

I just took it a bit further and sent it to Ted and the Gawker.

  82. You believe in absurdities as well Marie,no??

You were about to lauch something here tonight, I just forwarded to sources that will spread it, or maybe they will call BS, oh wait one of the sources is Ted!

    ReplyDelete
  83. If they spread gay rumors, Jake will never come clean about the gay rumors. The PR plants are trying to do the opposite, but this Gyllenbabbler troll is acting against Jake and Reese PR people. Which means, even the Gyllenbabblers are getting tired of being manipulated by the PR stunts! It amuses me a LOT! LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  86. You don't get it do you? If they post the bogus sighting, i will prove that it was false by pointing to this blog as my "inspiration', i already copied and pasted the comments starting with ny tourist board's comments and pasted/attached it to an e-mail along with the pic of Jake and Reese in the car with the post card.

That will be my "proof" of the sighting. Just curious to see if they will and if they do boy wil they be embarrased! Gawker will remove it and who knows what E will do.

I'll just forward it to the

    ReplyDelete
  87. Breck!!! Is your new schtick now pretending to know things or have you already been doing that???

I see you have a blogger account, too bad it's. I'll still copy and paste your comment and add it to my e-mail.

    Have a good night sweetie.

PS: The way my "sighting" was worded i would be surprised if even stupid Ted will postit but we will wait and see.

    Your KS History moment:

  95. Oh dear.. what a mess.. I posted those nyc tourist posts. What I asked was total supposition, all I was saying was how theoretically would one prefer to spend a day in NY. Dragging yourself round overpriced shops looking at yet another unnecessary handbag with someone rather unpleasant or spending a private couple of hours with a really hot cute and intelligent texan looking at some of the world's greatest art (okay I'm biased there).

The Frick / Cloisters mentions were certainly not sightings, how could they be as I made the blinking post from across the Atlantic. Just examples of places in NY I'd like to spend an afternoon (especially if I had Austin in tow).

And I'm certainly not dry and styling as I was tucked up in bed when those were made.

    Hope that clears everything up.

  96. I cringe at the cheap, awful, shoddiness of this showmance. It baffles me how either can benefit from it?
I think Ted has a soft spot for Toothy. He also probably knows it's going real bad for him at the moment, what with the bearding falling apart and all the negative publicity regarding Jake's silence about Heath.
That's probably why he's quiet about TT for now.

    ReplyDelete

And yes, interesting disappearance of "teeny, tiny"!

Reese needs all good PR she can get - four flops out of five last movies, Avon contract, cheated on and dumped for a younger & far prettier woman.

Tabloid readers are her rom-com public and I'm sure they don't question this "relationship".

    ReplyDelete
