This is why I want to see Jake do interviews again. Those silly funny moments and charming ths socks off people, and how that giggle slips out and those blue eyes twinkling. That is what we haven't gotten in almost two years, and what has been missed so much. But have no doubt that will see it again.

ReplyDeleteI know its not a popular opinion, but I can help but say, that Jake just makes me smile. He's like that person at the party, you might be across the room and not even get a chance to speak to them, but you hear their laugh and watch them tell a story and you turn to see that you are not the only one who is smiling along with him but everyone is.

Abbie will be getting lots of press for Bright Star which opens 9/18. I think it is showing at TIFF on the 12th. Since Abbie can't make it through an interview without bringing up how much she loves Ryan we should expect some major Reeking ahead.

ReplyDeleteIt was all perfectly innocent. Matty, BJ and me took a walk along the beach while Jake was back at Matty's trailer having Camilla show him how to teach your baby to eat by himself. Jakey looked so cute in a highchair!

Sad day here in Massachusetts with the funeral of Ted Kennedy. Saddest most when the plane with his body took off for DC where he will be buried. You knew then he was never going to be in Massachusetts ever again.

ReplyDeleteAh, yes, Jake's cheerfulness is what drew me to him in the first place. He used to look happy all the time, excluding the break up period with Austin when he looked like a NY homeless person. We only see him happy now when Reese is no where in sight.
ReplyDeleteI was flipping channels last night and caught the closing minutes of City Slickers with a smiling, charming little boy Jake. Didn't Billy Crystal say they joked that Jake was gay because he was always singing show tunes on set,and in particular mentioned one from South Pacific. Good song selection today.
That ONTD post was something else, especially the NSFW ones. I notice though that in all such articles, they use old pictures of Jake.

Very sad day yesterday, I agree Spesh - the saddest time, leaving the church. But the ceremony was beautiful, a beautiful tribute.
