Half Marathon Man

Austin is lacing up the running shoes and hitting the road for the half marathon in Wilmington to raise money for the Gulf Coast and Global Green. But before he starts here are some tips

Find yourself someone interesting to start the race with, this guy ended up with a Bubble Boy. Then again like they say Mr. Bubble "Makes Getting Clean Almost as Much Fun as Getting Dirty!"

Pace yourself - fast start could mean tiring too fast and you end up in the back of the pack and can't get away from people you may have wanted to run far away.

Chafing, somethings are sensitive without being Sensitive Julian, and while worry about your boobs when you can make sure that you shirt doesn't rub all three of your nips raw.

Clothes - no need to accessorize a Global Green shirt

Gators like chicken - you may want to think about covering the legs.

Double Tie your shoes - you don't want to be that guy in the middle of the race as the pack passes while you are bent over tying your shoe.

Focus - keep your eyes on the finish, visualize the race you want to be running.

Don't Tweet and Run - sure that there will be one in the group who will be tweeting enough for everyone.

Smile at the Finish Line - You know there will be a camera to capture the moment. Maybe a high five?

I wish Ted would pick up on these two lovebirds in Colorado.

How many times have you emailed that pic to him so far, Tom?

  3. I'm new.
    First, a question.
Is Lainey paid off, or what? Jake's PR seem to pop in here every once in awhile. Perhaps they can share with us how much she is commissioning.
    And now, a comment.
I'm a straight woman, and pretty hot myself. Jake and Austin, with all of their collective hotness, out of the closet and out in public, would be just about the hottest hotness I can fathom. If this happened, I would go see their movies.
Swifty and Jake? Blech. No thanks.

I wonder if the people who own Jake will allow him to say anything about her death or take off the shackles so he can attend the funeral.

  13. Anne Hathaway confessed she was a crying wreck when taking it all off for her role in Love and Other Drugs with Jake Gyllenhaal, but according to her costar, who catches a glimpse of her hot bod in the film, Annie's got nada to feel bad about.

"I was like, 'wow!'" the hilarious and talented Josh Gad told us at the AFI Fest for the flick's premiere.

"It was very interesting. You don't expect when you sign on to any job that your first day on set is going to be one of Anne Hathaway taking off all her clothes and saying, 'Here I am!' "

Read on to hear just how naked everyone gets:

"She is gorgeous," Josh said, saying A.H. has nothing to be nervous about when her lovely ta-tas hit the big screen.

"I was nervous, and I just showed my ass. I can only imagine what she's dealing with," Gad said. "But she was just unbelievable about it all."

Jake Gyllenhaal, who does plenty of nudity despite some scenes having hit the cutting room floor, also understood Anne's fear.

"I'm naked a lot," laughed Jake. "But particularly her. For a woman it can be...yeah, scary."

"They are brilliant and serious actors," director Edward Zwick added about Anne and Jake's way of dealing with all their sex scenes. "At the end of the day they want it to be truthful and real.

"That commitment outweighs any hesitation or squeamishness. It's natural to be nervous and anxious to be naked in front of people," continued Ed. "When it's the service of the story and you're a real artist as they are, it's what you do."

And that they are. You won't be reading any complaints here about lack of nudity

Lactating. LOL Would Sensitive Julian would be jealous?

Seriously - it was record hot in LA that night, and that spot would be Jake sweating from the heat and the lights.

  15. Here's the comment about Jill from the press conference in New York today for LaOD.

This morning at a press conference for their upcoming film Love and Other Drugs, Jake Gyllehnhaal, Anne Hathaway and director Edward Zwick took a few moments to remember their co-star Jill Clayburgh, who died at her Connecticut home on Friday, after a 21-year battle with chronic leukemia.

Jake told reporters about Jill, “I think Jill is unfortunately one that didn’t have as much time as some, it’s a testament that we worked together for two days and when I heard this morning… she’s just amazing. I know my parents just were recently divorced and my mother said that ‘An Unmarried Woman’ was such an incredible film for her to watch, you know, and helped her so much. I think the work that she did, the woman that she is and was, she was just incredible.”

OK! NEWS: ANNE & JAKE ARE AN IMPOSSIBLY GOOD LOOKING DUO

Director Ed Zwick said that nobody on the cast and crew knew about her quiet struggle with the disease.

Jake added about his on-screen mom, “I think that was part of it too, her living with it for as long as she did, for her to appreciate it. And she had two kids. Someone like her working for two days like that, it’s insane. She was just loving and open, and incredible actor to watch.”

It looks like that private plane was more likely supplied by the studio to fly him to NY for the press conference.

  16. Sorry if this has been covered before but I've been gone 1 week. On latest pics of Jake getting into private plane, why is he bending/crouching down in pic #5 (I think that's the #)? It's like he's saying hi or talking to a very small short person. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  17. He does look like his attention is to something in the plane that is small, and there really wasn't a need for him to crouch down so much, he had plenty of clearance in the door.

  18. sorry no bubsy tile on that flightNovember 6, 2010 at 9:49 PM

Looks like he was preoccupied with whatever on his phone when entering the plane. Probably just absentmindedly anticipated a low door opening. Photos sometimes make things look more questionable than they reallly are because in the video you can see him go right up the stairs and right onto the plane without any hesitation or distraction.

Jake is definitely bending down and interacting with someone lower than his waistline as he enters that plane door. In fact, he seems instantly immersed as his focus is aimed downward in picture #12. Gives Rendez-Vousing a whole different kind of meaning now doesn't it?

    Meet and Greet!

  20. Here's a coincidence. I was scrolling through the tv shows using the remote, which displays and skips 5 shows at once. The remote landed on LOGO and the teaser for a show called the AList read "Austin and Jake pledge their eternal love but things do not go smoothly." No, I did not bother to watch, but got a kick out of the description.

  23. That is a very interesting picture. The guy sure does have a lot of head room. He also does not seem to be looking at any cell phone. Could be he wasnt sure he how much clearance he had. Still an interestimg pic.
