LOL had a screening this week
, and looks like it is hitting it's target audience from the tweets. And how about Mr. Nichols? Well...

“I laughed, I cried, I envied their outfits, and learned so much. What else could I ask for? & Austin Nichols being in it was icing on da cake”

Seriously what it is about this boy and icing?

Happy Austin Friday!

  3. And where is that picture from of Austin in the Hansel & Gretal outfit?

It's from OTH Season 8 episode 10 List, Plans. He dressed up in lederhosen because he was helping BrookeDavis do things on her bucket list, because she was sad that she lost the company (ohwoeisme) and one was Oktoberfest.

  4. Oktoberfest. LOL!!
I love his right arm in that picture.

Love the fact that there's no shirt on underneath that thing, too. Man.

  5. I have got to share this with anyone who's not seen the link on WFT2. This website is just wonderful. It's heartwarming and it's a community of people from everywhere sharing pieces of their childhood, experiences and feelings.

Tom & Dest, I hope you guys check this out. Austin and Jake need to check out this blog.

It's called Born This Way. It's a blog that this guy started where people can submit innocent childhood photos (from roughly age 4-14) that indicated to them that they were probably gay. It is absolutely one of the most beautiful, entertaining sites I have ever come across. I love every single post so far that people have submitted. Eric, when he was age 6 in 1960, from Berkeley CA, though, his story is just especially one of the most loving stories I've read.

I could just share post after post because each one is just great. I love that all of these people share their stories, thoughts and photos. And I guess it's really taken off and the guy is just surprised as all get out at how many submissions he is getting. He has a running meter of Total Pageviews and it's just constantly going up and up.

Okay, I want this on OMG just for the record because someone is over on WFT2 (I think it's our little friend) trying to say that Jake goes to the medical building all the time for chemical peels. 7. Sorry, I hate to keep posting and being a Comment Space Hog, but dadgum it, nobody else is talking except Special and myself so too bad! lol.

Look at all of those visits in 2009.

BT2 is supposed to have been born in early January 2009. Jan 9, isn't it?

Note all of those dates in the first 4 months of January, beginning of the month and 3rd week of the month.

    Routine. Regular.

Because BT2 would have been an infant and I reckon those first several months you have to take the baby into the doctor for those first routine check ups.

I'm telling you guys, there's more than just one BT. There's 2 BT's. And the babies' doctor is in California.

Who was it that posted something the other day about the surrogate law in California that once the baby is in the womb or something, that the baby belongs to the paying parent and that the surrogate must give up the child, there's no going back. Where did I get that? Just throwing that question out there, I don't really think anyone's going to answer me. lol.

  8. One word. Therapist. What's the address of this building?

    ReplyDelete
  9. I agree with TR. I've always thought that was why he was going.

None of my friends with babies go to the doctor that often, even after they are first born.

Picked up the In Style magazine with Bomer in it, and it's a twofer--the pages immediately proceeding the spread on Bomer are taken up with a spread on Amber Heard.

  10. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends wellness visits for ages newborn through 18.

    At ages 3-14 days
    1 month
    2 months
    4 months
    6 months
    9 months
    12 months
    15 months
    18 months

And that's not even the immunization schedule, which I reckon you could tie into the wellness visits.

Destiny, I have worked with a lot of women in all my years of office work and these ladies, when they have babies, they are leaving work early, coming in late and taking off during the middle of the day all the time to take their kids to the doctor. I can't believe you're saying that you've never seen your friends go to the doctor that often.

    ReplyDelete
  11. None of my friends with babies go to the doctor that often, even after they are first born.

And I am sure your many, many friends with newborns call you everytime they take their babies to the doctor and that's why you know their schedule that well.

    ReplyDelete
  12. tr, I don't know if we know the address of this building.

I don't rule out therapist for some of these. But come on.

Look at the schedule/dates of those visits. They're routine.

And I think I said this over Memorial Day when I first put up a partial schedule of these dates.

That if Jake & Austin have 2 kids, and I believe firmly that they do, the two kids aren't maybe going to be in sync with their appointments.

    ReplyDelete
  13. People go to therapists on a regular or semi-regular schedule. I don't see what's so horrible about Jake going to a therapist. I go to a therapist as do many people I know. If you want to improve your life, going to a therapist is a better option than partying or taking drugs.

    ReplyDelete
  14. And that's not even the immunization schedule, which I reckon you could tie into the wellness visits.

Okay, that was a stupid statement! LOL!! Immunization shots are part of the early wellness visits.

duh! But the point is you have to take your baby in a lot during that first year because of the shots, make sure the baby is eating well, sleeping well, that the little dark thing falls out of their belly button, they're developing like they should (i.e. rolling over, crawling, motor skills, hearing, talking, etc).

You don't just have a baby, take it home and then the kid never goes back to the doctor again. I don't have kids but this much I know for sure. I've had so many former co-workers have babies and I don't know how many times I've heard, "I have to leave early" and "Oh, I'm going to be late in the morning."

  16. Absolutely nobody up there in the comments said that seeing a therapist was "horrible".

I myself have said on the blog before that I think it's wonderful anytime someone seeks help like this. It can only be beneficial.

    ReplyDelete
  17. That "schedule" makes no sense at all for baby visits/check-ups, etc. You take babies in for a routine check-up once a month for a while, but you definitely don't take a baby in for check-ups two or three times in a month or two days in a row.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'm not saying that every single appointment is for the same baby.

One of those is when Jake came out of the hospital on crutches.

Not sure why schedule is in " ", it's right there on IHJ in pictures.

    ReplyDelete
  19. If he were going to a pediatrician wouldn't he bring the baby? Because he doesn't have a baby with him in any of these pictures. Are we are assuming that he was hiding a baby to the degree that he would have a decoy car or drive separately? If so wouldn't it be very risky? Why wouldn't the doctor just come to his house to do well checks and give shots? I assume that would be the choice for a Hollywood star who might be hiding a baby. How risky would it be to bring the baby to a pediatricians office full of other patients 30 times? I think there must be another logical explanation.

  20. Hey, PG. I see you've been archiving info, again. Good job. Yeah, I noticed the person over on WFT2 who keeps pushing the plastic surgery excuse for Jake's many, many medical building visits, since 2007. Let's be fair though and not discount the possibility so quickly. It is possible, after all, that Jake might be suffering from Heidi Montag syndrome because of an abnormally low self esteem and irrepressible pursuit of corporeal perfection. I mean an intellectual man such as Jake can't live on brain stimulation alone. And, we all know how "ugly" that boy is!

Today, the explanation appears to be that Jake's been seeing a mental health therapist. Once again, let's try hard to keep an open mind. Who knows, maybe those two Audi Q7s are part of his aggressive treatment plan for an acute case of agoraphobia. Along with his sudden and abnormal attachment to his sister's family to cope with a severe case of social anxiety. I mean we all know how awkwardly introverted and shy Jake is. No doubt he's also being counseled to obsessively talk about heterosexuality so he can "cure" himself of "the gay" too.

The truth is, prior to Jake going into the closet to reportedly start a family in October, 2007, he was not photographed constantly frequenting medical buildings, which would indeed seem odd for such a healthy, young man. No doubt there are several reasons why he goes there. But, that does not mean that some of those reasons don't include, surrogacy and obstetric appointments, baby wellness appointments, or routine checkups for members of his ever growing family.

And, why doesn't Jake bring the baby with him when he goes to these appointments? Hmmm. That's a tough question. Let me think a minute. Gee, I don't know. Maybe because he doesn't want anyone to know he's a father?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Once a month yes, but can't see three or four visits within a short time. And it seems to be some of those frequent visits have come when he's been away from LA for awhile, like he's loading up on visits.

To me shrink visits make sense because of the frequency and the fact that Maggie has talked about going, and, I believe, has joked about it being a family tradition.

But this is one where we really don't know what is going on, and it could be anything, so I could be wrong, or it could be true of some of the visits....

    ReplyDelete
  22. That Born This Way Blogspot is great PG.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Then he shouldn't schedule appointments at a pap target like that clinic M&M, there are tons of private doctors on L.A.

The Gyllenhaal family have been in and out of therapy for years, it's no secret, Jake has spoken about it.

He could go to a more private route but there is no shame in seeking help.

    ReplyDelete
  24. It is a medical arts building that Jake is at frequently. It has all kind of physicians, specialists, dentists, therapists etc. So there may be more than one group or physician/dentist/specialist is seeing. And yes there is a immunization schedule that is very similar to Jake's pattern of visits.

Here's something to think about: Not just why Jake's always using the back entrance to the office, but why are the paps always back there and taking pictures? What guy have you seen papped at the Dr's office this much? What are they trying to get a picture of? Other people go to the doctor's or their therapist without being papped everytime.

Any why are the paps taunting him in this video?

and then this video of Jake is smiling and talking to someone in the van.

    One More Time.

No one has said or is saying there is anything horrible or shameful about seeing a therapist.

Excellent points, Special. Why is Jake followed to this medical building so much? I've never seen any other celeb on JustJared pictured at medical buildings.

Like Destiny said, we don't know for sure about all and each of the visits but I am pointing out the frequency and the pattern of dates.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I need to watch that taunting video - that sounds like one I haven't seen.
And I want to watch the van video again! Thanks for putting that one up. I have a little gut inkling about that van....

  27. That Born This Way Blogspot is great PG.

Is that just not the best? Destiny, did you see the little kid with the clown and he is just frowning & scowling at the camera. LOLLLL!!!! That cracked me up. What a frown!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I swear, Jake acts like he knows whoever it is that's in the backseat of that van and he is looking down.

Just like he was bending down as he entered that plane.

And why does the van slow down so that Jake can walk alongside it like that?

He looks absolutely gorgeous in that video, I have to say. Drop dead gorgeous.

Ryan Reynolds can't even come close to touching that.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Exactly. The paps are looking for "the shot," of something and it ain't to document if Jake just had a chemical peel. Just as a side note. Men have thicker and oilier skins than women. This often causes the uneven penetration of peeling agents and therefore men are considered less than optimal candidates for peels, in general. So whereas, Jake make get a peel once in awhile, it's highly unlikely he is routinely going for treatment. And, he certainly isn't doing it when he has that beard he sports so often.

    ReplyDelete

It's bookmarked so I'll keep reading it. It's just real vintage.

  34. OK, I have often wondered about the medical visits. Great job tracking them, PG.

I'm totally in the dark about BT2, had no idea there was an actual month BT2 was supposed to be born. Where is this info - fill me in!
These visits aren't about chemical peels - you get those in spas, don't have to go to a dermatologist. He's just too young for that shit anyway. I don't buy that one.

I think he's either meeting up with the nanny and baby separately at a pediatrician's office (though those visits are REALLY frequent for the baby schedule) or he is seeing a therapist or psychiatrist. I've said on here before that there are so many signs I've seen that tell me Jake is ADHD. And ADHD meds are tightly controlled - no refills - which means frequent Dr visits. If he has some depression on top of it - still more doctor visits.

My fearful theory is that Jake is HIV positive. Don't even want to go there, but I have some gay friends who are, and it has very little impact on their lives as long as they are taking their meds. Stunning - one in five gay men in the United States has HIV, and about half of those who carry the virus are unaware that they are infected, according to a new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study.
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/09/23/AR2010092306828.html
So, let's hope it's just ADHD or Baby Tiles that send Jake to the Dr so often!

    ReplyDelete
  35. But what if hottie James Franco came out of the closet? We asked you whether a homosexual card would change your opinion of the hunky actor.

More than 90 percent of you said that you will continue to love J.F., gay or straight, and Team Truth is totally on the same page. This is the 21st century, after all. There is no need for some kind of heartfelt disclosure interview on Ellen if Franco switches to men. Nonstory, as it should be.

Now to poor Jake Gyllenhaal...With Jaylor long gone and Franco possibly down for dudes, Team Truth had to ask you whether Gyllenhaal should hunt for a brunette or simply make Brokeback Mountain his reality.

More than 30 percent of you suggested Jake should stay put on the hetero-bandwagon and settle down with Anne Hathaway. The two worked side-by-side in Love and Other Drugs and Brokeback, so the chemistry must be there. We also agree that Anne could use a nice guy like Jake, especially after her last guy ended up behind bars. What rotten luck!

But then, close behind sweetie Anne for Jake's next proposed honey were Mila Kunis and Mr. Franco, both tied at 25 percent in second place, and we are happy to agree that Jake must choose a darker mate (those blondes have been such trouble for him), and heck, both are über-attractive possibilities.

    Awful Truth

  36. Too bad Jake's already got a darker mate in Austin Nichols, huh Ted?

  38. I'm totally in the dark about BT2, had no idea there was an actual month BT2 was supposed to be born. Where is this info - fill me in!

I'm not 1/8 as good at archiving as the two Grand Poobah Archivers, Special K and M&M. These two people in following Jake for so many years, and also Austin later, have become walking Websters/Britannica's/Smithsonians in all that is Jake and Austin, I'm not kidding you. If there was a Jeopardy! on Jake and Austin, it would be awesome to see Special, M&M and Stubborn go at it.

I would pay to see that. Really.

Anyway, I got off on a little fun spiel there, lol. Anyway, I think January 9 is thought to be BT2's birthday or right around in there. "Someone" has noticed that Ted tends to put in BT mentions around the times that the guys have sprouted offspring. So you could probably go back through the Toothy archives, OwlGirl around Jan 9, 2009 and see some of the hints; look for words like "two" or "babes". As has been explained to me, this is how Ted clues it.

This was not my discovery at all, but the Grand Poobah archivists'.

    ReplyDelete
  39. But isn't everything Ted says true.

Ted himself has said that he sometimes "helps" play the game a bit. It wasn't that long ago that he gave this answer to somebody. I didn't keep it but I know he said it. Somebody re-posted it on either here or on WFT2.

I guess neither side anticipated the negative reaction that resulted. Tongue in cheek, but truth at the root.
