Just listen to what he tells you to do.
It will be okay remember we've survived the CGI wolves, how bad could it be?
And don't try and impress him with that pee and jellyfish story.

You know I could do that. I could be Bear Grylls. You don't scare me.
When Jake went on Letterman to talk about LaOD he joked about Bear.
And we wondered who he knew that watched Bear. Guess we weren't the only ones who noticed. Looks like Mr. Grylls did too.
Bear Grylls has confirmed that Jake will be on a future episode of Man vs Wild.
" 'Jake was just joking [about what it's like to be famous],' Bear told reporters during his recent trip to Sydney. 'He was going, 'Yeah, it's great, I get whatever I want — if I get in trouble in the wild I just call Bear Grylls.'
They had not met at that point but but it wasn't long before Bear called up Jake and invited him to "put his money where his mouth is".
"And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why you never make jokes about Bear Grylls. The man is hardcore."
Where and when we'll just have to wait and see.
Of course Jake has done Man vs. Wild(Turkey that is). Not sure if that will help this time.
Austin will no doubt Tivo it, like he doesn't already have a season pass for the show, but will he tweet about it? Could he get the chance to see it live as it happens? You never know.
But you know from the looks of it he could be ready for anything too.

ReplyDeleteSorry everyone - the comments have to moderated today. It may take a while to see them. Sorry. Blame the troll.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that BBM link M&M, I've never seen that site before. It's really interesting to see what got left out, and probably for the better.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for that film site link Special. Hard to see how you can judge something that is in such rough form, but maybe it is better for Jake's career that something that sounds like it is a mess never sees the light of day.
Brunette?

Great post today - Happy Austin Friday all! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that's awesome. Now that's something I'd love to see. Jake in this Man vs Wild. I've never heard of it before.
ReplyDeleteGee, no wonder the troll was upset. Yet another current connection between Austin and Jake.
Gotta love it! You do!
Congrats to Jake
ReplyDeleteHe just landed the lead to "End of Watch"
From Just Jared:
Jake Gyllenhaal wears a bright neon jacket to take his dog Atticus for a jog on Friday (March 4) in Los Angeles.
The 30-year-old actor just landed the lead role in the upcoming thriller End of Watch.
The plot of the film has not been released, but Variety describes it as “a gritty cop drama that follows the friendship between longtime partners.”
Jake is also on the shortlist of actors for the lead role in the upcoming The Bourne Legacy.
10+ pictures inside of Jake Gyllenhaal on a jog with Atticus…

Awwww, there's Atti!!! A boy and his dog.... Well, not exactly a boy. LOL!
ReplyDeleteA man daddy and his dog.
Jake suddenly looking very hot lately. Guess he finally had to get out the dusty razors from under the sink in order to go door-to-door with his resume.
Don't care what the snarky commenter on T2 says, I think it's glaringly obvious that now that Austin is about to wrap it up, Jake has been hitting the pavement.
Austin buddy, you have got some tiring days ahead of you, man.
LOLLLLL!!!!
Cell phone convo:
ReplyDelete"Jake?"
"Yeah?"
"BT won't eat his PB&J."
"BT doesn't like jelly on his PB&J. Did you put jelly on it?"
"Well, of course."
"Well, that's why BT won't eat it. You're going to have to make another one."
Hard for me to say this but as I think about it I would probably say that Jakes PR plan has been a success. Although his roles have not been outstanding his performances have also not been disastorus even POP. What I think he has done is establish himself as heterosexual to the general public. Maybe he has even been forgiving for playing Jack Twist. He is certainly not going after Oscar type roles right now but roles which make him the macho man he wants the public to see. Priority one has been successful. Jake is straight.
ReplyDeleteThe Eastern Cougar was declared extinct. I disagree. They were thriving last weekend at T.G.I. Fridays throughout the Eastern United States.

ReplyDeleteWell, I would have to disagree on this one. You look at the majority of the comments on Jake posts elsewhere and he's not fooling anyone.
If anything, that ol' Tay debaucle only proved to the internet savvy crowd that Jake is Grade-A, Prime Cut Gay.
He isn't fooling anyone except the dim-witted, casual observers who buy all the pablum & rice pudding that People & Us Stinckley feed them.
Jake continues to get a lot of negative comments and I don't see anyone buying his people's straight game plan except the Tay Swift teenyboppers.
I disagree too. Maybe the average movie goer who does not research movies before they walk in the door thinks Jake is straight. But anyone who surfs the net or follows even a hint of movie gossip knows/thinks he is gay. And the Swift debacle did more to broadcast that fact across a wide base than Ted did in 4 years of Toothy gossip.
ReplyDeleteI probably wont get to a theater to see it but that new Depp movie Rango sure looks cute based on the trailers. Getting good reviews too. Johnny's voice cant be beat.
Isn't that new movie of Jake's the one in development. A long way off, I think.
LOL at Austin's tweets lately. :)
ReplyDeleteJust a thought - Jake can and should play a variety of roles in his career to be a successful actor. Playing macho men (if he is doing that) doesn't have anything to do with who he is in his personal life, or makes any judgements, it's his job. I think Jack Twist was one of his absolute best roles, and lots of people loved it. JMHO. :)
