Eastbound

It's a taxing day for many.

But maybe more a "As You Wish" day for a couple.

I love me some NYC in the springtime. - AUS10

Seems like Mr. Nichols is alluding to being New York and loving it.

So, if Austin is in New York, does that mean Jake's in LA or is he celebrating Passover with his family who live in New York?

And if Austin is in New York is he looking for the Afikomen tonight at the First Seder?
(Maybe start here)

And does a tree grow in Brooklyn? Or Manhattan?

And if Austin is a twactor wouldn't he be this?

Passover is eight days set aside to commemorate the emancipation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt and the gift of a promised land.

A family holiday, most often families gather together for the first Passover Seder, and then invite friends to join them for Seder on the second night.Through the rituals of Passover, families and individuals have the ability to relive and experience the true freedom that their ancestors gained.

Chag Sameach Pesach!

  2. Jake was spotted in L.A. with his Mom earlier in the week. If jake does observe the holiday, it sounds like his Mom is in L.A., she was then anyway.

Maggie once said that she, Peter and Ramona were going to light candles for Hanakah because her Mom is Jewish. I don't think either Jake nor Maggie really are into celebrating Jewish holidays unless their Mom is involved.

BTW, Mrs. Soapy is in NY with Mr. Soapy either that or they are pretending to be.

  3. Jake was spotted with him mom last week. It's not like they are driving across the country if they went to NY. Amazing inventions - planes, in just a few hours you can be where you want to be.

There are few reasons I think for the tweets.

Just like Reeke, they pop up when Jake and Austin need cover. And seriously if they had all that time in NC could they have not gone to NYC then? But now getting all settled back in LA they decide to go to NYC and show up on the first day of Passover. For the environmentally conscious they're not. Seriously, how many times has Sophia crisscrossed the country in the past 3 weeks?

And the date is to coincidental. Still say, Austin is going to be reading the Haggadah around the table tonight.

There is one more reason for all this foolishness, the new episodes are back tomorrow after being in reruns for 6 weeks. Need something to kick off the last 5 episodes they'll be on.

  4. Jake was spotted in LA just a little while ago at brunch. He'd never make sundown in Manhattan. Oh well.

That tweet from the ESPN guy about Sophin makes more sense now. PG wondered why they'd be on the same flight if that guy was going to Bristol, CT. Well because Sophin was going to NY.

  6. Jake is not an observant Jew and neither is Maggie and their Mom, barely.

I'd be surprised if they are having a Seder in L.A. where Jake is now. Jake is probably eating a ham sandwich as we speak.

Austin doesn't do Passover either, he isn't Jewish and neither is his family.

Who has brunch on a Monday? Brunch is Sat. or Sunday - not Monday.

  8. I was going to say, places don't hold "brunch" on weekdays.

  9. Ha! Did you know that @theawfultruth follows Soapy????? Isn't that interesting....Now why would Ted want to follow her???

This is all very amusing and interesting. Ol' Soapy & Austin are knocking themselves out, aren't they? I love it. What I love about this is they're just piggybacking on all kinds of jet fuel and diesel. One of their followers really needs to call them out on that.

I'm not quite sure how a day a week of riding one's bike is counteracting all the plane jet fuel and the taxi unleaded that these 2 are using.

Does anyone have any rough figures on that?

  12. ^^^ How easy is that? Sorry, that's not working for me this time.

With nothing but tweets of Jake ever since he came back from Iceland, I'm thinking he never left NYC. I wonder if he didn't just stay there and now Austin has joined him, dragging the beard along.

No pics of Jake jogging and there's never been a problem getting a Just Jared post of that. No prior tweets of Jake at breakfast/lunch/dinner/brunch/coffee in L.A. and there's never been a problem getting those.

Weak, P.R. Work up a little sweat, why don't you and put your boy in the stands of a Laker game with Rob Look Alike Guy. That's what it's going to take.

  13. Thumbs up for Chely Wright for speaking up about Reba & Blake Shelton's "joke" at the ACM Awards.

It always takes guts to speak up against your peers, especially when they're bigger than you are in the business.

I admire her greatly for that.

I also love the picture of NPH's boyfriend with their two boys. If they just aren't the cutest little things.

It's wonderful to see these two men, along with Ricky Martin, be so proud of what they've done and be proud of their children out in the open.

  15. LOLLL!! Damn, I did, Jack.

Hey, I did go up a year.

    The memory just shot craps.

lol. I think I even killed myself on that one. And just to show I'm a good sport, I'm leaving the ill-fated comment up.

  16. Birthdays do that to a person.

Okay, well you know I throw a lot of crap up against the wall and some of it sticks, some of it doesn't.

You know, I'm sure Ben Franklin had some duds. lol

  19. That's not the first time that Austin has used a photo that could have been taken anytime, by anyone. Someone even asked him if it was a movie set. No evidence that he was there at all.

As for the father comment, hes in the closet and hiding baby tile. Do you really think he is going to come out in some dutch magazine.

I think he would avoid talking about it at all - not bring it up of his own free will. Just like he never talks about his girlfriends (beards) in interviews.

No doubt that's what Jake wants everyone to think. Unlike fake girlfriends, however, he cannot avoid hypothetical questions about wanting to be a dad someday. Particularly, since he was a young man, he often mentioned how much he wanted children. Even made a definitive announcement in 2006 that he wanted 2 or 4 kids. He can't simply say, "My private life is off limits," or "No personal questions, please." For obvious reasons.

  25. I doubt that he brought up Paul Newman and half the stories mentioned in that article either. The author embellished via google. Who knows what else he embellished.

I am actually looking forward to OTH for a change and am going to watch it as it airs rather than weeks or months later recorded. I am excited to see how Austin does at directing, though I suspect he had a lot of supervision during the process.
