Jake's back in the Big Apple and Austin's back behind the camera wrapping up Episode 7 and directing a scene with Lucas (Chad) today.
knows what he wants in the scene, so kind to the cast/crew. Just awesome! Love it :) -
jessjesswarmanAustin has always has great rapport and respect for the directors, cast and crews on the projects he has worked on in the past, and it has translated to him as director.
Can imagine him treating those who work for him with as much respect as he give those he works for.
It doesn't look like Episode 7 has much BrookeDavis in it or even at all, since Ep 7 was shooting during Fashion Week, the crew is going out tonight to celebrate (which sounds like the episode is wrapping up) and Austin's co-star is not scheduled back to the set until tomorrow.
Makes for interesting observation.
It's Two Wheel Tuesday, so how about a
handlebar mustache for your handlebars?
Ironic facial hair ....for your bike. How hipster is that?
Well there's one way to get a mustache ride.
Director's Photo Log. Anyone up for a quick flight? say.ly/qevJDo

The end of DADT isn't just about coming out to the military, but for some it's coming out to their families too.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how many people have seen this:
Watch What Happens This Gay Soldier Comes Out to His Dad
It is a great day. I sure am happy. Things are changing in my lifetime and that is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteThat was just beautiful, the soldier's call to his Dad. :')

Anna Kendrick Says Working With "Open" Jake Gyllenhaal Is "Great!"
ReplyDelete"[It's been] great! He is one of the most open actors I've ever worked with. The whole set was crazy, since we were basically shooting it as though it was home movies. We didn't stop shooting it; there was hardly a second between takes where somebody didn't pick up one of the hand-held cameras. We just start shooting each other, which was a completely new experience for me but really exciting."
Huh. Anna talks as if they always had those handheld cameras and whatnot around when filming, doesn't she?
ReplyDeleteAnd yet no one has questioned why you don't see them in the Chevon/Subway pictures.
I also found Anna Kendrick's quote when asked about "rumors" of her & Jake very interesting and telling. I mean, talk about a clipped response. Could it have been any shorter and to the point?
ReplyDelete"Obviously not. No."
That girl doesn't play games. She didn't mince words - good for her. There was no expansion, no mystery, no doubt.
"Obviously not. No."
Well, okay! lol
That was as short of a reply as you'll see. And what does 'obviously' mean in that sentence? 3 words in that reply but they spoke volumes.
ReplyDeleteSomeone else who speaks volumes but in a different way.
Ol' Soapy.
We arrived back home after a good 24 hrs travel time between flying, waiting for connecting flight, flight delays and the shuttle home so I slept most of today away. Back to work in 2 days. As you can see my bio clock is still out of whack as I am wide awake at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThat video of the soldier coming out to his dad was very touching. To see a soldier who is prepared to face danger so nervous and frightened about being honest with his family was incredible. Wonderful that his Dad accepted him without restraint.
I'm happy for you Destiny that you got to see Bomer perform. That must have been quite a thrill.
Welcome home M.
ReplyDeleteIt was a trill to see the play 8, and to see Bomer even if he didn't have many lines. And it was really sweet at the end when he took Cheyenne Jackson's hand.
That video of the soldier talking to his dad is also very sweet.
