Austin's training techniques might not be for everyone, but they work for him.
First Triathlon. 7th Place. I'm pretty thrilled. My time = 1:32:49 See photo -- Aus10
Then again you've been doing a deconstructed version of a marathon for a while.
Just one question does this mean Team Texas Burritos trump Team Green Kale in the house?
Ya'dun good Mr Nichols!

ReplyDeleteMan, he looks like he should be holding a sign that says "Will Work for Food", doesn't he?
ReplyDeleteI think after that play is done, somebody should run a tub full of hot water, squirt a 100 gal jug of soap in there, swish it around real good, and then dump both boys in there butt nekkid. Who volunteers to shave and scrub?
The numbers are his official race number.
ReplyDeleteUh....yes, that is what I surmised as well.
ReplyDeleteThe 5K walker said to the triathlete.
Whoop! There it wasn't! lol. No shoutout. Nothing to see here, folks. LOLLLLL!! See, I'm used to having done 5K's on land, didn't think about putting the numbers on like that because of the water. Well, you learn something new all the time.
ReplyDeleteHe's back to Square One then, far as I'm concerned. LOL
Great job, though. 7th place is outstanding for a first time triathlon.

ReplyDeleteWatch the Extra thing tonight. Ben Lyons was talking to Mario about End of Watch as they talked about of anticipated movies this fall.
ReplyDeleteAustin might be eating spinach instead of kale by the look of his forearm.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Austin. 7th place for his first marathon is outstanding.
ReplyDeleteWait just a cotton-picking minute!!
ReplyDeleteJake's opening night on "broadway" and NO Freakin Austin Nichols???
Huh, WHAT
Austin does a Triathalon and NO DagNabbit Jake G?
What-in-the-sam-hell is going on here?

These two can't be married with children.
Honestly... lol
Like that uneducated assessment at 01:04 is going to turn heads and change minds around here.

ReplyDeleteHey guys, still catching up on the posts from the long weekend. Went to the Catskills on Friday and just got back last night. I had zero service on my phone while I was up there, but I had such a great time that I never had any withdrawal symptoms.
ReplyDeleteSeventh place, what a great achievement for Austin's first time out. Nice picture of him.
I still would love to nibble on those Iliac crest:-)
ReplyDeleteYeah I finally remembered my password.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many participants took part in the trialtalon. 7th place does sound pretty good.
I would love to see Jake wearing that Austin City Limits hat one of these days:-)
