The show officially premieres on Showtime this Sunday night at 10pm.
And on the other coast Jake (and his pinky ring) blue in at the premiere of his sister's movie White House Down. The movie also stars his former Jarhead co-star and music video pal Jamie Foxx.

Thank you for the welcome! Did you notice on Alyssa Instagram account that she is still living with her boyfriend that is a photographer. Because they seem to take care of the same dog in the same apartment. The more I look at this situation the more weirder I becomes! Again thanks for the welcome!
ReplyDeleteI mean it becomes. Sorry for the typo. : )

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of face to face, lol......
So it looks like possibly the Jakester may have escorted his GF Alyssa to his sister's NYC premiere but....seems the girl couldn't quite turn it around for the camera. Darn that shyness.
Come on, WME, I'm counting on a Just Jared post. Full facial.

lol, I saw that. That's what I'm talking about. Why so shy? I know, baby steps, right?
ReplyDeleteNope, waiting for Jake and Alyssa to turn it around and turn it on for the photogs. If they're both so enthusiastic in expressing their wild new affection in public as Sara Marquez and the source for Page Six claim, why the sudden stilted shyness in that picture?
And let's not keep this just for the Facebookers. Why is that? Not everyone has Facebook, know what I mean? Nope, nope, not going to do. A Facebook romance featuring the back of heads is just so..........unsatisfying.
lol, started "making out on the sidewalk"? That's awesome.
ReplyDeleteToday is a landmark day in how America legally views marriage.
ReplyDeleteAll eyes will be on the Supreme Court.
Woo hoo! I can't believe they did it, struck down DOMA.
ReplyDeletewe'll see pics of Jake and Alyssa facing the camera and kissy face soon enough. They're saving up for an 'exclusive' that someone will pay cold hard cash for. I'm sure it's already in the works. An 8-page US Weekly spread, perhaps? Sunday in the park with Gloria?
ReplyDeleteIt's beginning to feel a lot like Thanksgiving in Park Slope. Just hope the photographer remembers to move the sidewalk leaves around a little this time for variety.
WASHINGTON -- The Defense of Marriage Act, the law barring the federal government from recognizing same-sex marriages legalized by the states, is unconstitutional, the Supreme Court ruled Wednesday by a 5-4 vote.
ReplyDelete"The federal statute is invalid, for no legitimate purpose overcomes the purpose and effect to disparage and to injure those whom the State, by its marriage laws, sought to protect in personhood and dignity,” Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote in the majority opinion. "By seeking to displace this protection and treating those persons as living in marriages less respected than others, the federal statute is in violation of the Fifth Amendment."
Big, big day. Happy for our Jersey Tom, Destiny, Seaweed, Clarity and Wicked.

ReplyDeletelol. Yes, we'll be watching, won't we?
History continues to be made. One of the things I'm happiest about is that this would open the door for the sharing of benefits and all the legalities that happen after the death or during the illness of a spouse/partner. So important and essential for all human beings.
Pretty darn good news from the Supreme Court. Now hoping that activists get more involved in states that are capable of passing Gay marriage. Right now there are still many states where that won't happen but todays ruling is pretty sweet news.
ReplyDeleteIt took a while before Alyssa Miller agreed to be Jake Gyllenhaal's girlfriend, and 'In Touch' knows why!
ReplyDeleteJake Gyllenhaal doesn’t give up easily!
In Touch can reveal that after a year of chasing Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Alyssa Miller, he finally got the 23-year-old beauty to give in and be his girlfriend.
“Jake made a major play for her,” an insider says of Alyssa, who first met Jake, 32, about a year ago at their shared NYC gym. “She told him she had a boyfriend, but Jake endlessly called and texted her.”
Did Jake’s smooth moves lead the beauty to break up with her guy of two years? According to the source close to Alyssa, “Jake’s main line was: 'If I can’t be your boyfriend I will be your best friend.'"
And now she and the Source Code star seem to be making up for lost time! “They couldn’t keep their hands off each other,” a witness who saw the duo on June 16 at NYC’s Cold Process Coffee and Tea tells In Touch. “They seemed really into each other.”
For more on Jake's new romance, pick up this week’s issue of In Touch, on newsstands now.
You know, it takes building blocks sometimes and every step taken is big.
ReplyDeleteSeems like a huge start to me, a significant hurdle.
Can't believe I'm actually able to take a lunch break today. It's been hell here at work for the last several weeks.
Y'all have a good rest of the day.
RE In Touch. It's narrative enhancement. People were starting to wonder about the boyfriend Bjorn, and the timeline, because it's so... odd. Not to mention poor Emily. Was Jake using her? That's probably going to get clarified next because if Jake was pursuing Alyssa this whole time he obviously used Emily, and that's not part of the script. Yet... it was Jake's camp that fed the Emily / Jake story to US Weekly a few months ago. Someone slipped up there.
ReplyDeleteI think Emily was supposed to be the beard, but something happened. Wonder what it was?
This narrative is in line with Jake's 'endless pursuit' of Minka Kelly, too. Poor guy is just looking, so hard, to find that right woman.

Austin looked fab last night.
Jakes PR always screws something up and makes it apparent that its a bearding situation, so not surprised they messed things up again. We will have fun watching and catching. At least this time they let him "meet" a girl on his own, not by being set up by his mother or sister.
ReplyDeleteTerrific day in CA with the good news about Prop 8. I will be in SF later this week for a concert and expect to see lots of celebrating going on.
Just Jared has coverage of the Ray Donovan premiere and pictures of Austin.

Check out the instagram from the ex boyfriend speaks.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think?
Hey guess who else is dating a SI Model?
ReplyDeleteRyan Seacrest
Daily Mail
Man SI really upgraded since those football phones when you subscribe.
That was a cute story on the spider plant. Kind of bizarre, too. I like how she wrote "Spider plant" on the outside of the flower pot, lol.
ReplyDeleteMan, that story on Ryan Seacrest is a real work of fiction, isn't it? You know what? SI models have now officially become huge red flags to me, a la Taylor Swift. If I see a HW star with an SI model on their arm? Guess what. Funny too how Chris Pine was with that same gal before Seacrest and well, Chris Pine's history mirrors Jake's an awful lot.......hmmmm.
Seacrest is something else; not sure who he thinks he is fooling. **eye roll**
