"Parkour" roll knot!! So what happened to the knot, I wonder? It appeared once, garnered days and days of online chatter. Then nothing. Gone. Too bad!

Hot Crab Dip:
ReplyDelete2 (8 ounce) packages of cream cheese
3/4 cup of mayonnaise
10 ounces of crab meat
1 1/2 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoon of crushed garlic
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire Sauce
2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
5 strips of bacon (crumbled)
2 cups of Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Mix all ingredients together and place in glass bowl. Wrap tightly with Saran Wrap and marinade overnight (or 8-10 hours).
Fold in shredded Cheddar Cheese and put in shallow glass baking dish.
Bake in 350 degree preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
Select your favorite crackers.
LOL! I see you found the perfect brick wall replica of Jake's staged photo shoots in Manhattan, PG. Great avatar. Maybe he'll change up the decor in the future and sit in front of wood oak paneling next time. Got to change up "the set" every once in awhile, Jake. It gets boring otherwise. ;-)

ReplyDeleteClean, de-stem and scoop out "meat" of 20 uncooked jumbo white mushrooms)
Place mushrooms in boiling water that has been flavored with 2 beef broth cubes for about 2 minutes. Place on paper towels to cool and dry.
4 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
4 finely chopped scallions
2 tablespoons of minced garlic
Cook until translucent
Add:
8 strips of fried bacon (crumbled)
Scooped out crumbled meat from mushrooms
3/4 cup garlic flavored bread crumbs
2 tablespoons of white sherry
(The mixture needs to be moist so add a little of the beef flavored water and some of the bacon drippings if too dry.) Cook on medium heat until ingredients have blended together. (About 5-10 minutes
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Spoon the mixture into the mushroom caps and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake 20 minutes or until heated through.
Top with some grated Parmesan or Sharp cheddar cheese and put back into the oven to allow the cheese to melt. Remove from the oven and serve.
