OMG knows that Austin loves to travel, but Israel might have seemed like a less conventional travel choice for him.
Many people travel to Israel for religious reason, since the city of Jerusalem plays a part in the story and traditions of three major religions.
But what was it for Austin?
And yes Austin soaked up the religion, the cultural, the history, the people, everything he could but you wonder if there was more going to Israel.
And yes more than the mud. : )
It was also during that trip that Park East Day School retweeted Austin's sunset.

Indeed! RT @AUS10NICHOLS Beautiful sunset in Israel. #aviiIsrael say.ly/ndA15qo via @israelconsulate
Still have to wonder now why a small private Jewish academy in NY retweet a guy from LA? Where's the connection?
Happy Passover
Haggadah
Austin looks pretty natural with kids, more so than I would have first thought in the beginning.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I'll never forget when my brother and his wife had their first one and my mom stayed with them at first for awhile to help. And my mom said that my SIL told her she didn't know "how to talk", didn't know "what to say" to her baby when she was alone with her baby. IOW, it wasn't coming naturally to her. And my mom told her that you just start talking to them about anything - you know, there's nothing too crazy. Probably just so that your baby gets used to hearing your voice first of all, you know.
And with the first one, everything had to be sterile, everything was a panic moment, we all had to be so quiet in the house, etc. etc.
There they both were, my brother & his wife, so apprehensive, so new to being parents - and they turned out to be such naturals. She's a natural mom.
I reckon all parents start out that way. And I bet J & A were no different, especially Austin. Austin looks to me to have probably been more awkward, much more so than Jake.
When you look at Jake and the way he was cradling and rocking Boo all over the place, that guy was already practicing being a newborn parent. You know, Jake likes to talk so much right now about his unconscious and subconscious, how about he fess up to what he really was doing with Boo?
Look at this tweet. This is funny because someone saw the same thing and tweeted this very recently:
✨❤️Baby Dyke❤️✨ @Princess_Gaara Mar 27
Someone teach this man how to hold a dog
You wouldn't see him holding Boo this way now

lol
Then she/he tweeted this:
✨❤️Baby Dyke❤️✨ @Princess_Gaara Mar 27
I'm convinced that Jake Gyllenhaal doesn't know how to hold a dog
or maybe he just thinks his dog Boo is a baby idk

We're gonna blow something up just a bit. It's not a bombshell, but it's a calling out.
ReplyDeleteM & M discovered this little gem several days ago and I think it has already proved enlightening.
Anyway, the site is called TwitterAudit.
A Nice Little Find
Their web page professes "Exposing Twitter fraud since 2012".
About Twitter Audit:
Each audit takes a random sample of 5000 Twitter followers for a user and calculates a score for each follower. This score is based on number of tweets, date of the last tweet, and ratio of followers to friends. We use these scores to determine whether any given user is real or fake. Of course, this scoring method is not perfect but it is a good way to tell if someone with lots of followers is likely to have increased their follower count by inorganic, fraudulent, or dishonest means.
TwitterAudit is not affiliated with Twitter in any way.
Now, before I call attention to any other account, I will put up @blastobutter and @goosestile.
ReplyDelete@blastobutter has an audit score of 98%. Out of my 55 followers, 1 is deemed fake.
@goosestile has an audit score of 100%. Out of 8 (LOYAL!) followers, 0 are deemed fake.
Now, Austin's current audit score, according to TwitterAudit?
@aus10nichols scores 82%. Out of 241K followers, 197,367 were scored Real, 43,913 followers were scored Fake.
Wow, that's a lot of fake followers, even if you figure the test might not be 100% accurate.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting about TwitterAudit.
My lowest score I have discovered thus far is a 73%. Who does this one belong to but a rather suspicious looking account by the name of:
ReplyDeletejake @jakegyllenhaal
Egg Account
It is an egg account, meaning they don't even have an avatar picture, no wallpaper, no nothing. It's a very basic, plain looking account.
This particular account has not tweeted one single tweet and is not following anyone. Yet it has 521 Followers, a wide range of Jake fans, business accounts, and regular type looking accounts.
It scores 73%, with 379 followers deemed Real, 142 followers deemed Fake.
Now, you have to ask why would you even follow an account that hasn't tweeted one single tweet nor will it follow anyone.
Highly, highly suspicious. That is a pretty low score with a lot of its followers seen as fake. I have to ask why does it even exist.
How about the beards?
ReplyDeleteChloe Bennet
@ChloeBennet4
82% audit score
90,656 followers scored Real
19,230 fake
Alyssa Miller
@luvalyssamiller
69% audit score
24,956 followers deemed Real
11,055 Fake
Let's round it out:
ReplyDeletePeter Sarsgaard
@petersarsgaard
81% audit score
6338 followers deemed Real
1468 followers Fake
Sophia Bush
@sophiabush
82% audit score
766,417 followers Real
165,964 followers rated Fake
Emily Dido
@emilydidonato1
74% audit score
37,547 followers Real
12,987 Followers Fake
Now, I think you have to have a twitter account to be able to use this tool. Pretty interesting discoveries, don't you think?
Wow! Look at Jake's last two beards. Fake doesn't even begin to capture their rankings, does it? Only a 69% rating for Miller and then a 74% score for old Emily. Why even have Twitter accounts? Oh yeah, right. Professional bearding duties require a twitter to help promulgate the lies.
ReplyDeleteGreat research and thanks for sharing the information about twitter.
ReplyDeleteEvery platform of social media is just that media, and any group, management, etc would use it to promote their product, client etc. This is an example of how they boost their clients numbers.
So I guess the big question is how to tell who is real and who is fake and what are the fake tweets saying.
ReplyDelete69% is an awful score as far as I'm concerned. In fact, seems to me that anything under 90% is not good. I'm not surprised at Soapy's score. I always suspected a lot of hers were bought accounts.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to publish Maggie's score. This isn't a good score either:
Maggie Gyllenhaal
@mgyllenhaal
Audit score: 78%
15,906 followers scored as Real
4565 followers scored as Fake
That's almost 30%, riight? (lol - math was not my strong suit). What in the heck?
All I can say is good thing Jake isn't on Twitter. With WME at the helm, the needle on his Audit O'Meter would probably go BOING!!! like a big ol' spring.
ReplyDeleteBWAH!!!!
3 1/2 hours more to go in this work day. I am just chompin' at the bit to call it. And it will be a 3 day wknd!!!
Somebody's wife made these really big truffles for Easter and a tray of them was placed on the table back in the lunchroom. I mean, that thing was torn up . It was destroyed. Bunch of savages around here. It is indeed survival of the fittest - that tray didn't even make it to mid-morning and it was a big tray!!
