What to expect...

Something they never tell you about is:

The waiting
The reassuring
Nooooo.....you are skinny,
you're barely showing.

The jumping to attention
It can make a guy go a little nutty
crack up
and cry
Life at the Crazy Tree.



And sometimes you need little Jake on an Austin Friday.

Jake out for breakfast yesterday before heading out for another day of backpacking in the concrete canyons.

    Aww, there's the ubiquitous urban wanderer, Backpack Jake, ambling about again in the wilds of NY! Although I must admit, I'm not quite sure if there's a definite destination or purpose to many of these outings, or just a whole lot of waiting around for something to happen.

    Oh yeah Kelly Slater is an incredible surfer and athlete.

    Even though Austin didn't surf a lot before you JFC, you can tell he really got bitten by the bug from doing the show.

    I watched boardwalk empire last season , but had trouble getting into it . But I'm really enjoying season 2 for some reason.
