The shy American tried his best to stay off the radar today while out and about in Exmouth Market, London.
Wearing a green hooded coat and a pair of beige trousers the Donnie Darko star had enjoyed a solitary lunch at East London restaurant Moro.
After leaving the Muslim Mediterranean restaurant he headed through Clerkenwell with his Los Angeles Dodgers black on black baseball cap pulled low.
The 31-year-old actor was also sporting a ginger coloured beard and seemed to be content wandering around the city by himself.
It is unclear why Gyllenhaal is currently in the capital but he was following in the footsteps of his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift.

I thought Jake was clean shaven? Another example of an incongruent tweet. Not the first contradiction, and it certainly won't be the last as long as Jake is in the closet and uses twitter to hide where he is at any given time.

But Gwyneth, Chris and Cameron have been on that time zone for a while. And as healthy as Gwyneth proclaims to be she wouldn't be eating dinner at midnight.

Maybe it was just convenient to insert Jake's name in place of Reese's? Also, the time of the tweet that says Jake's out having dinner at midnight with Diaz and Paltrow is more than likely false because there is another guy who accidently ran into Diaz and mentioned that Paltrow had been at the restaurant three hours earlier for dinner (at 8:58 p.m. London time). He uses the past tense and says that Paltrow "was" there. Most importantly, no mention of Jake being anywhere in sight. We know that Jake is all kinds of famous across the pond. Yet no mention of Jake or Chris Martin being at the restaurant by this guy. Just Diaz and Paltrow.

Looks like you were right, Special. According to that tweet M&M posted up there, Paltrow had already left the restaurant by 9:00 p.m. GMT. And, that find about Reese Witherspoon going out to dinner with Paltrow and Diaz on January 31 looks like a blending of the two cover stories. Note that supposedly she was out with the gals for a late night chat unitl 12:30 a.m.

What I love most is that Jake is written up as if he had lunch alone (uh-huh) and that he is a loner and camera shy (uh-huh), yet everytime PR wants to place him somewhere else we are lead to believe that he is participating in these star-studded occasions. Uh-huh.

Well, first thing I thought of when I saw the new jake pics was that he grew a beard in record time since he was just seen clean shaven, or so they claimed. Not sure what time of day they were taken, but I hope he changed his clothes before dinner.

Yeah, the baby is fine. Austin's performance was understated and touching. Not a lot of dialogue (which is a good thing on OTH), but some moving and believable silent emoting. You would almost think that he was channeling from experience of what it would be like to place you own child in danger. ;-)

Aww the trolls are all upset now that Jakey and Cameron aren't going to be an item. Looks like several of the OMGers called it last night. Someone was trying to pimp Jake with Diaz and they merged the Witherspoon, Paltrow, MCcartney, and Diaz dinner from the night before to make it seem like Jake was with them.

Given those Toyota Tundra SR5 and out to Sushi with Austin photos from mid- month, it's pretty obvious who that is too. And, I'm talking about the tall Texan who left with Jake. Not the lead singer who is helping two friends perhaps slowly come out of the closet.

If Jake was with Cameron Diaz at a group dinner, of course they looked affectionate. She loves gay men! As friends! Diaz is also apparently bisexual, and a total party girl. Not even Jake's "beard type."
ReplyDeleteI know pretty much only one celebrity, and NOT very well, but I do KNOW Gwyneth. I have a family connection to her. She is obnoxious, but also really funny and charming. Her husband is just plain obnoxious. I have no inside scoop on anyone in HW through her; I would never ask and she would never tell. She is friends with practically everyone, a girl's girl, and pals with both Cameron and Reese and a whole bunch of other people. We know she is friends with Jake so it doesn't seem surprising that the four of them got together for dinner. Or, this is some bearding PR whisper campaign to try and couple Cameron and Jake, which of course would be a complete joke!!
And Gwyneth's health kick crap has nothing to do with going to bed early, I think it is just part of her self-promotion and contrived brand. Girl knows how to party, she's just smart about it.
As for the Lainey tweet, IMO Lainey doesn't get her "scoops" on Jake's love life from tweets. She is fed them directly from PR who probably slip her some cash along with the "scoop." Have you noticed how there are certain celebs that Lainey won't touch? Jake is one of them. Now that he has new PR and Lainey might not be on that payroll, her take on him might change. Although I suspect you actually were there, you just happened to take the stance that those two particular tweets were false.
Unfortunately for you pictures later made the J/A tweets seem more probable (notice that I said probable, since tweets mostly can't be confirmed without pics of the event), while pictures made these new tweets pretty much impossible.
But keep on calling us the pathetic ones.
Same goes for ^.^ up there, btw, who was just too happy to be quiet about the conspiracy that the J/A tweets were made up by OTH fans who were put up to it by OMG and it was proven because the tweeter followed Sophia.
