Pretty obvoius to me Jake wanted to be seen in NYC. He has not been that visible in quite a while.

ReplyDeleteIs Jake still "dating" Emily Didonato? Barely a month ago the press and media bent over backwards reporting this new Hollywood hook-up but we haven't heard anything since. With all the social events Jake has been going to recently; the late club dinners with other celebrities; seeing him walking around NYC and even now at the basketball game and yet no Emily. He always seems to come alone. I'm not saying just because you're dating someone you have to be joint at the hip with that person but at this point you can't help but wonder was Jake and Emily ever was dating in the first place.
ReplyDeleteSorry fact checking but it is possible for a gay man to look at a woman and think, "Hell that's a hot and sexy looking woman" and express that thought through their eyes. And I'm not 100% Jake is gay. But this idea that Jake can't possibly be gay simply because his admiring the sexy beauty of a woman is BS.

Don't think Jake & Emily continued to "date" because although she got plenty out of the one-day press event (had YOU heard her name prior to that? Didn't think so) the general response on the Jake side was "Meh."
ReplyDeleteThe problem with his bearding / "dating" only via tabloid stories, IMO, from a PR point of view, is that there's no consistency whatsoever in his taste in women and relationship patterns. PR has switched him from being a serial monogamist with popular actresses (KiKi, Reese), talking about wanting to settle down, be married and have kids etc., to a player who will date any pretty girl of any age from civilian graduate students to swimsuit models, and his relationships last like 2-3 dates. It doesn't add up.
What is Jake gonna do for Austin's birthday? Are all 6 of the kids gonna be with them.

Austin? Outta here. I chose a picture which was pretty intimate, I think. Marcus has his arm around Jake, Jake's tucked into his armpit. The toe of Marcus' boot is clearly in Jake's personal space.
Now before some get excited, this doesn't change the fact that J&A are still married. And together with kids. Don't get the wrong idea. That still remains.
But if this is what the guys want, I can do it. My avatars are very flexible.

ReplyDeleteJake Gyllenhaal takes the slow but steady approach to moviemaking, appearing in one movie per year, from 2009's "Brothers" to last year's "End Of Watch," but it seems French-Canadian filmmaker Denis Villeneuve has lit a fire under him. He's currently in front of cameras with the filmmaker on the long developing thriller "Prisoners," but last year, Gyllenhaal pulled double duty on "An Enemy" and now the first pic from movie is here.

Co-starring Isabella Rossellini, Melanie Laurent and Sarah Gadon, and based on the book by literary legend José Saramago, the story follows a history teacher (Gyllenhaal) who lives with his wife (Laurent) only to discover the couple has an exact physical double (with Gadon playing Laurent's opposite). And soon, two Jakes square off. "Face/Off"? Not quite, but something that sounds like an intriguing psychological thriller.
There's no release date for this one yet (or U.S. distributor), but we'd reckon to keep your eyes peeled on the fall festival circuit. [Kinopoisk]

Good news for Rhode Island. Austin is a big boy now. He and Jake do not have to celebrate his birthday on the exact date. There was a lot of effort made recently to place him anywhere but with Austin, so good chance that's where he was. Plus the trolls amped up their presence to keep people busy and looking elsewhere.
