It looks like the rumors are true — Jake Gyllenhaal is off the market once again. The actor, who hasn’t been in a serious relationship since breaking up with Taylor Swift in early 2011, went public with his new girlfriend Alyssa Miller on Monday.
Star magazine claims Reese Witherspoon & Jake Gyllenhaal are engaged
That article is interesting. I assume this story might be in Star Magazine's upcoming weekend issue.
Funny how it mentions Jake and Peter supposedly see each other a couple of times a week. I don't see how, considering Peter has been on endless movie shoots taking him out of NYC and Jake was in LA more than he was in NYC in 2013.
Even at that Knicks game when Jake was there with Ramona and Peter, those were the weirdest photos because you had a couple of frames where they were near each other in the seats but there were a few pictures when Peter and Ramona were no longer in the seats. Even back then, I had the feeling Peter and Ramona didn't sit there with Jake the whole time.
It has been pretty clear to me that something has been "up" for quite awhile.

What I find interesting is that the story was never posted next door. You know, two years ago, that story would have been posted over there just out of general Jake/Gyllenhaal interest. Yet another sign to me that there's nobody left over there except for the hired moderator/commenter.
Except that Jake was in Los Angeles at the same time Austin was. That's the difference. Also, Jake does not need to hide from being with his brother-in-law. Yet Peter and Jake have been rarely seen together since 2011. Heck, Jake's been seen with Marcus Mumford more than Peter.
You know what, until I see evidence of Jake overseas in a Squall jacket and LL Bean snow boots, that guy is with his family right now and has been with them for awhile.
His people have been dishing more lies and smoke bombs to hide his whereabouts for the last several weeks than you can shake a stick at. And why? Because he's with his kids. Where's Austin? Anybody heard from him? The guy's gone underground again, see how that works?
But don't worry, they'll flush out pretty soon. I'm sure Austin has built up a few file photos to be used for later dates.
Chloe is a blimp on the radar screen. Just like Alyssa. Just like Reese. Just like Taylor. Just like Sophia. Regarding, Dan K., Austin has stopped following him. I wonder why?
Not only has Jake not been seen with Peter in a long time, even Maggie has not been seen with Peter in a long time. Enty lawyer had hinted about marital problems so it might be true. He and Peter got on each other's nerves while filming Jarhead, but they got over it.
The oddest thing about Jake being seen everywhere but with any part of the Everest film lot, is why is he not with the rest of the gang filming. His part must be very small. Still, I'm glad he gets to spend time with his hubby.
Hilarious the people that make an issue of Jake being seen with others but not Austin. Duh, he's in the closet. If he wasn't it would be no big deal to be seen with any man, not something to be avoided. I guess it's too difficult for them to grasp what the closet is all about.
Is Jake even going to film Everest, lol. Maybe he's pulled out. Maybe he only has a few scenes. All the "arrived in Nepal", the "new" Enemy poster, and the Tay Swift head banging is all to give him cover and distractions so people will think he's filming, but he's really not.
Again, like M & M has said before and I recall somebody else has said as well, that Jake really doesn't work very much. His people make it look like he's busy but he's not. He's potty training, reading books to and having craft time with the kiddies.

We know Austin is gay and quite comfortable around men. Thanks for pointing that fact out once more. Jake is the same way. He is far more at ease around men than women. That doesn't mean that Jake and Austin aren't together. Just that they have male friends.
Regarding, the Gossip Cop write up, I think that Peter and Maggie are separated. She films overseas. Now, Peter is in South Africa. Then Peter was in Vancouver. Maggie filmed in New Mexico and Ireland last year too. Pretty clear they don't want to be in the same vicinity of what another. Peter doesn't even like being seen with his own kids either.

I must agree, I think Peter and Maggie are hiding trouble big time and have been for quite awhile. I think they make a few public appearances together once in awhile but we've seen enough odd things that reveals a different story.
So the question is why has Star Mag published this story? I'm curious. And the headline mentions Jake and Maggie being at odds but yet when you get into the story, it focuses on Jake and Peter. Why is that?
And why on earth is the article trying to make it sound like Peter can't get a job w/o Jake's help? Are you kidding me? Peter works 10x more than Jake, let's get real. The article is making Peter look bad and being the cause of tension between Jake and Maggie. Why is Peter the one being made to look inadequate? Where does that even come from?
Oh, look at this. Suddenly Peter is being seen as the family man. Actually pictured with Ramona for once. I can't wait to see him with Gloria now. This is a reaction to the Star Magazine article.
