More to climb

Sam Worthington and  Robin Wright have been added to the cast of Everest. Worthington will play Guy Cotter and Wright will play Beck Weather’s wife, Peach.

Filming of Everest continues in England at the moment but when everyone gets to see the finished project has changed locations. (on the calendar) Original slate for February 27, 2015 it has been moved to September 18, 2015.  And that might not be a bad thing.

February is none to be were the studios put their weaker projected performers and while post-labor slots a better positions for those to be considered for award season.

The push back may also to give the director and crew more time for the digital work needed to enhance the experience for movie goers.

So it looks like Fall 2015 will be a one - two movie punch for Jake.

Jake said he was geeking over the Goonies when it came to his co-star will he admit the same for The Princess Bride (Wright).

  Management would say:

Who's the princess now?!?!

  1. The recent comments make me shake my head. Now there's a new release date; Jake seen in Austin, Texas when he was promoted as being in Rome flashing his butt for all to see; now more actors added to the production when supposedly they've been filming since mid-January. This movie shoot looks like it will go on longer than The Day After Tomorrow, which was like six months.

It is so apparent that Jake's movie shoots are wrapped in deceptions and oddities that do not resemble anyone else's. Lending support, once again, that something is majorly up with his private life.

And, Austin. Well, I'll shake my head there too. Tweeting about an ice cream truck at the same time as your new pseudo GF, does not a relationship make.

I wonder if these gay guys ever get embarrassed with their actions? Because with active deception comes the word, insincere. And, that is never a good reputation to have.

There are so many homophobes in Hollywood and the Entertainment Industry in general that I think they relish, portraying performers they shove into the closet as a-holes, misogynistic menaces, liars, and ungrateful toward their fan bases. All the while, these master manipulators are probably coercing blow jobs out of their clients and going home to the wife and family as if they are little angels. Heterosexual angels, of course!

  3. What's kind of funny about the ice cream field trip is this:

BWAH !!! Now the thing is, Austin (or someone using his account) made the committing statement that he would sometimes be accompanying the truck. So he's going to need to come through on that.

But despite supposedly being near the truck licking, crunching, and tweeting, @haleyrosenn seems to have just missed him.

I didn't notice that. How very convenient. Austin must of have his ice cream "transported" to him then.

Working on perfecting teleportation. I will keep you updated.

  5. Am I dreaming it, or did someone try and convince us that was a purse strap in that first tweeted picture of Austin. Couldn't find it in the comments, so wasn't sure.

  6. Here's a great example of how Management/PR teams work. And, they don't care how obvious their actions look.

Yesterday, a two and half year old tweet from Louis Tomlinson of One Direction was deleted from Twitter:

    Louis Tomlinson @Louis_Tomlinson

Always in my heart @harry_styles . Yours sincerely, Louis

Today, many fans are discussing how the circumcision can be traced back to this article, which appeared on the Internet back on March 4, 2014:

Louis Tomlinson Top Ten Most Retweeted Messages of all Time

At the time, Louis was in the sixth slot, and 1D fans started retweeting to trend the message to No. 1. In fact, within two weeks, Louis' tweet had been ranked at #3 already.

However, yesterday the tweet suddenly vanished from sight. And, now Management is deleting more messages because they are being called out on their censorship. Trying now to make it seem like Louis is just performing some kind of Spring cleaning on his Twitter account. They are even deleting a few of the other boys tweets to make the whole affair seem even handed and routine.

A great example of how celebrities twitter accounts are not their own. And, how Management teams could really care less about a performer's fanbase when they are shipping heterosexual propaganda. Sure is funny how Jake can go on and on and on about his bromances, but Louis cannot have one with his friend and bandmate Harry Styles. In fact, Management has gotten so desperate that it's believed they will literally separate Harry from the group this year. He already was shoved over to Los Angeles for two months, even though he was looking forward to being on break with his family.

Here's an excerpt from the Daily Mail article this morning:

There's a mystery that not even Sherlock Holmes could solve - which is fine because the meticulous One Direction fanbase are on the case.

It has emerged that a tweet of overflowing bromance sent from Louis Tomlinson to Harry Styles more than three years ago has suspiciously been deleted.

In 2011, Louis wrote: "Always in my heart @Harry_Styles. Yours sincerely, Louis."

The tweet was shared more than quarter of a million times and received more than 100,000 favourites.

Within two hours of the message vanishing the hashtag #HarryYouAreStillInLouisHeart was trending worldwide.

I read up on the current 1D controversy. Some interesting stuff for sure. What really hit me is how so many people (i.e. Larry supporters) are bending over backwards -- and you know what happens when you do that! -- to try to be oh so careful not to draw the wrong conclusion or to overreact.

They are saying that it could have just been a glitch with twitter. Or, maybe that tweet was accidentally deleted. Man oh, man. With fans like that, PR barely needs to do anything. They are so concerned with exploring every conceivable possibility that they are underplaying the obvious. Management was afraid that those six million fans who think that Louis and Harry are a couple (I include myself in that group), would trend that tweet to #1. With a huge stadium tour about to start around the world and hundreds of sponsors to please, their management team did not want Louis' tweet to Harry from 2011 to become the most tweeted message of all time. That would be hard to explain. Glitch? C'mon.

Note: For those who don't know, the reason that tweet is so important it's because sentiment really date stamps when Louis was told he had to have a beard. When the Eleanor Calder timeline begins. That's why Louis tweeted that message out. Telling fans not to believe what you are about to "see," because Harry Styles was the person who would always be in his heart. Very romantic.

  9. I agree with you Second Guessing. I know sometimes I hold back when it comes to Jake and Austin too. One reason is because many times PR sets traps and it pays to be cautious when looking at something for the first time. This particular Larry "event", however, is pretty clear to me. The timing of the deletion and the association with the highly visible article about the most retweeted messages of all time, coupled with fans moving Louis' tweet from the #6 to the #3 slot in just 20 days had to have irritated PR to no end.

Applause to Louis though. He apparently just followed an obvious Larry shipper today on Twitter. And that person has the “Always in my heart” tweet as her header. Even more significant is that Louis only followed one fan today. Nicely played Tomlinson.

  10. If nothing's going on with Jake and Austin today, I thought I would float out another rumor that's been circulating around Hollywood about a very newly famous actress.

I must admit, during the Oscars, I thought some of Jared Leto's comments were odd, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Apparently, Lupita Nyong’o may like the ladies. If true, it would be great if she came out. She's the hottest thing around right now. Eloquent, gifted and very, very beautiful.

  11. Wouldn't be surprised if suddenly other people's Twitter accounts start to mysteriously lose tweets too. That way everyone can buy into the Twitter glitch debate and go about their merry way. Nothing to see here. Except, of course, that tweet would still be gone.

Although, I wonder how they are going to explain why L. Tomlinson's tweet was the first one to go.

    ReplyDelete
  12. That's interesting 8:00 PM. All day and several bad publicity articles about the deletion, and now Twitter announces a "display" problem.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Very interesting, Lupita, thanks for bringing that. I had not read that blind.

And speaking of taking things down, don't ask me why I went back to @haileyrosenn's twitter account, but I did and found that she took down her tweet about not seeing Austin at the CVT ice cream truck, for whatever reason.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Well, that's interesting too, PG. Another example of Twitter scrubbing, after the fact. Hoping, that no one is watching. The tweeter would have had no motivation to take down her tweet on her own. That leaves....

    ReplyDelete
  15. I didn't notice that. How very convenient. Austin must of have his ice cream "transported" to him then.

You're probably right, catching up. Now that her tweet is gone, I'm thinking M & M is also right if I'm understanding her. I would not be surprised at all if Mgmnt contacted her and requested that she take down her tweet. Or what if Austin himself DM'd her and requested that she take down her tweet?

I bet somebody contacted @haileyrarosenn. I just finished going back through her tweets a ways. She is a huge OTH fan. Huge. Not only that, but she has tweeted several pictures with other celebrities and in fact, she just had her picture taken with Sophia and the author of Pencils of Promise, Adam Braun on Sun, Mar 23. She also has had her picture taken with Paul Rudd, Keegan Allen, Khloe Khardasian, and Courtney Cox.

So I could see a young fan like this trying to go find Austin at the ice cream truck so she could get her picture taken with him.

I bet she did and, just like her tweet stated; he wasn't there.

And so that also tells me that he and Chloe had their tweets timed to go off at the same time, something that can be done, setting a timer so to speak.

    Her tweet was very damaging.

Well hey, guess what? Somebody did see it and in case anyone missed it the first time, here the tweet is again.

  16. Let this be a lesson to the Big Texan.

Be careful what you tweet. Next time he tweets that he's at his buddy Joe's truck, he doggone better be there.

Jake and Austin are together somewhere with the kids. Social media is on automatic pilot for them.

True Detective submitted in Best Drama category for Emmys 2014

    By Zeba Blay
    Tuesday, Mar 25 2014, 8:18pm EDT

HBO has made a surprising move by submitting True Detective for consideration in this year's Best Drama category at the Emmys, instead of the Best Mini-Series group.

The series, which stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, received critical acclaim during its eight-episode run.

Garnering an average of 11 million viewers, its finale episode caused HBO's online streaming site to crash.

According to reports, bosses at HBO have decided not to submit the show as a mini-series, despite the fact that it is an anthology series with fewer episodes than most Best Drama nominees.

While the show might have gone up against Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story: Coven in the Best Mini-Series category, it will face fierce competition in the Best Drama slot.

Expected Best Drama nominees include Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey and House of Cards, which won three awards last year.

The second season of True Detective will focus on two new detectives, with Jake Gyllenhaal and Jon Hamm rumored to be in talks.

    Would be interesting

Yes, you are understanding me correctly. That's exactly what I was getting at.

That tweet was there yesterday. So sometime today that post was deleted. In could be that PR was responding to your earlier observation about that OTH fan making the time to go see Austin after he said he was going to be at his friend's Ice Cream truck.

  23. That Twitter Display "issue" is such bull. And Modest Management is all kinds of paranoid and overreacting.

Things were made worse with the Display "issue". Jake's people do the very same thing with their overreacting and over-correcting. They make it worse and instead turn the big laser pointer right back on themselves.

We owe them a big thanks sometimes. LOL
