Texas Hospitality

It's one heck of a way to make a first impression.

Well he's got practice for when he answers the door in a few years.  He's totally the kind who will love to scare off their dates, by letting them think he's the Bad Ass Dad from Texas.

  1. RIP Maya Angelou

Maya Angelou, Poet, Activist And Singular Storyteller, Dies At 86

Poet, performer and political activist Maya Angelou has died after a long illness at her home in Winston-Salem, N.C. She was 86. Born in St. Louis in 1928, Angelou grew up in a segregated society that she worked to change during the civil rights era. Angelou, who refused to speak for much of her childhood, revealed the scars of her past in I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, the first of a series of memoirs.

**sigh**. Should someone tell her that Twitter is a social medium and not a living organism - without a heart, without a brain, without a nervous system.

I think this means Twitter is incapable of human emotion, therefore it cannot "care".

  3. LOL! I wonder if Chlo actually thinks of these deep thoughts all by herself? Or, if her "boyfriend" helps her out with these mind benders?

  4. I saw some footage of Maya singing when she was young; I never knew about that aspect of her life. Great voice too, not surprising given how great she was reciting her poems.
