Back in the day. The E Ticket was for the biggest and most popular attractions in Disney's arsenal of fun. And looking at the chatter, The Life of Toothy, is becoming the next E Ticket attraction. You have to punch the big ticket but the ride will be worth it.
Tomorrowland - Every day new stories or sighting - they are really giving the Disney Imagineers a run for their money.
Fantasyland - Will it be a Small World After All?
Bear Country - You are on your own with that one. ; )
New Orleans Square - Shiver Who's Timbers?
Adventureland - The Tales of Toothy & his Gray Goose.
Something to keep in mind. It is always known in war, chatter increases before any major campaign or battle. Mostly fictitious it is designed to throw the enemy off the trail of what is going to happen. PR is no different. So the more the chatter, the bigger the deal that is coming up.
So buckle up and please keep your hands and feet inside the cars at all times.

ReplyDeletePic is 1.5 inches by 2.5 inches. There are no visible limbs so no evidence of cuddling. Reese is cocking her head against him but it's impossible to see if there is head-to-blue jumper contact as such. Jake has a hand to his mouth and they both look as though they are admiring a Roman sight.
Overwhelming love is not discernible and there is no PDA.
Who knows what will show up next, though, on this crazy ride. Sorry I can't post it but I expect gyllenspoon and other places will have it within nanoseconds.
This is like a very exciting book! I have no clue what the end will be like, and will the end really be the end?

in any case, if baby tile is real... i feel really sorry for austin and jake. they deprive the baby's right to flaunt his hot daddies.
I may get mocked and stoned, but I think it is merely a tactical maneuver -- this is a reason that after all this time of no interest after months and months of speculation, this would happen. And I don't use the divorce came through as an excuse. There is something else that is the cause to these actions. The War Dept. would call this propaganda. I am following the War college theories of a something bigger is yet to come, and this is merely to throw everyone off the scent.

It figures that I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow morning and may not have internet access. One thing I know for sure is that I have this soft spot in my heart for Austin that I can't let go.

btw, i watched "Lust, Caution" today with my friend (superb film, btw) and when i told him that Rendition is not doing well in US boxoffice, his first reaction was, "oh... that Reese Witherspoon has another flop after the Oscar win then? How Halle Barry".... that got me thinking... not everyone (in fact, very few people!) thinks it's a Jake vehicle, and 2nd... Reese's career might need more rescue than jake's, so we think Reese's doing this to help a friend, maybe Reese "asked" Jake to help her too? lol.

It will be surprising if there is a kid in the mix. Who knows but I can't see how they could pawn the kid off and can't see how they could hide it.

Thank god for this community otherwise this would be way too dramatic for me. As winterbird pointed out this was what was predicted to happen but still, it hurts. ReplyDeleteI am sure this is a reaction to Ted's story last week, and that he felt he had to do something else this time around to make it more believable. I guess Ted was wrong about TT wanting someone else to do the dirty work. I am just not sure why he feels he has to do this with two movies in the works, unless contracts haven't been signed yet or he made some kind of agreement to not come out if he did the movie(s).

Anon 4:13- I wish I could address you by name rather than number. We all really need to not take anything that an actor, who we do not even know, does personally. I just sit back and watch what happens. I try to have no expectations. It's not my life. If you're concerned about Dany, or anyone else, then you should express that concern.

However if it's what they are selling, I am prepared to take it. I am not going to call Jake a liar, closet case, showmancer because the truth is I do not have enough evidence to prove it.
I have always believed Jake and Austin to be bisexual. And nothing has changed my mind about that.
I believe something happened between Jake and Austin but it could be in the past.
I would rather believe that then Austin is in hiding somewhere waiting for his guy to finish his public duties. That's just too sad.
However, if Jake and Austin have truly only been good friends all this time, then there should be no reason to not see them out and about and there should be no reason to not see them with Reese.
So on what Jake is trying to tell us, I am looking forward to some Jaustin pictures again.
If we don't get them, then I will truly become suspicious.
Unless JJ has something of worth I don't see an outing coming down the tubes. It would almost have to be a non player. A pap is going to get more for the photos to hush things up. Unless the Star /NE has something and wants to use Jake to get back at Reese.

Well, it is what it is but as much as I love J&A together I don't know them. I also don't know Jake or Reese. I find it disappointing to see anyone wish ill will on Jake and any relationship he has just because it isn't the one they want. It doesn't help to judge or make fun of them. I just wish Jake and Austin happiness whether they are together or not.
ReplyDeleteI should add that I don't think this is a spur of the moment reaction thing. This is why Jake got the the Untitled Moon Project. His handlers want some cash after all their hard work.
ReplyDeleteAlso we have to look at it from Jake and especially Austin's point of view. As much as we might like to see them being together publicly they have put a lot of work into building careers and both of them especially Austin are not in secure enough positions to be out. It is a shame but there it is.
This has more to do with Hollywood money people than the general public which is a shame.
In case some of you are wondering I do think the Jake and Austin are still and item and will likely remain so through this. I do think Jake or Austin are far more gay than bisexual.
We just need a baby tile clean up to wrap this up. I think Jake and Austin will be a lot more like Leo DeCaprio(sp?) and Lucas Haas(sp?) in the future.

ReplyDeleteShocked, dismayed and angry. That's what hit me first when I saw The Picture. All three roiling inside that Jake has chosen to go down the road so oft traveled.
Now, all I can muster is a sense of profound disappointment. In Jake, the star of a movie that thrust the dehumanizing consequences of The Closet into the American vernacular. In society, that, because of fear, good men are forced to lie in order to have the opportunity to thrive in their chosen profession. In Austin, that he would allow himself to become a wink and a blogger's nudge, a crude innuendo and joke.
But, the disappointment is heaviest at my own feet for carrying a rainbow banner of naiveté and hope for so long.
To TBers, I wish you all well. To Destiny, Wicked, Broadway Fan, Orchid and Tom, thank you for sharing the pleasure of your conversation on chat. And, Special - who most certainly is in all aspects - my gratitude for all the hand holding and care extended to ME.

It is kind of like organizing things. Right now is one point where everything is everywhere, in chaotic mess. It looks insurmountable,like it will always be this giant mess. But you know with persistence and patience you will end up with everything back the way they should be.
I do hope that Jake, Austin AND Reese are ready though. This could get rough real quick.

ReplyDeleteAll of your thoughts and feelings are valid and respected. Your viewpoint about this comes from a very special and unique place - a proud mother of a out and proud young man. You know how much better it is for your son to be out, and wish that for Jake and Austin.
I think there are others here who are out and who will also agree how much better their lives are now since they made that decision. It is these examples that make a difference maybe not to HW but the rest of the world around us. It is those who, like you son, and those here at OMG that make the difference, each day they show those around them, the example of how good life out of the closet can be.
I have faith that Jake and Austin will realize that it can be possible for them to have that as well. It might take more time than many realize. I do think that this current event is something that came from Ted's column last week, and a management and studios that are concern about their bottom lines and images, not always Jake's.
Do what you feel is best for you ME. I do hope that you will come back to visit when you are ready. OMG is so much more than just Jake and Austin, we wanted this to be a community here, and you are truly a part of that. Whenever you are ready we will be here.

This "official" pic is so contrived and questionable considering recent circumstances: it's pretty obvious to me that Jake's team went into panic mode when they read Ted's item last week (which was probably correct)--plus Rendition is not doing well at the box office--so voila. It's stupid but it's all about money and in the end, these studios and management and PR people want to protect their investment, which in this case is Jake and this movie that seems not to be reaping its return.

ReplyDeleteMe, whatever Jake's sexuality he has been nothing but gay friendly and gay supportive. He did BBM and was nothing but caring and supportive of the movie and the character he played. All the while he has been the one joked about with a wink and a blogger's nudg and crude innuendo. He has never once had an issue with being called gay but bloggers around the net seem to think it is okay to make fun of him and use crude stereotypes. Isn't it better to have straight (and since we don't really know him this is all speculation) than homophobic haters. I would rather have Jake a true gay supporter than bloggers like Perez, etc who think gay jokes and innuendo are okay. Who knows what is really going on but I am willing to give Jake the benefit of the doubt.

I think my seatbelt broke too! My first reaction was to gasp - I'm honestly shocked they've gone this far; I couldn't see either of them going in for it, particularly Jake. But like a lot of you here, I believe this is a direct response to Ted's latest. Nothing else logically lead up to this.
ReplyDeleteI admit I'm disappointed and further saddened that it's really come to this. But this is a roller coaster after all and there's definitely another climb after this. Jake is my favourite actor and I will always love and follow his work, that I can know for certain. His personal life isn't for me to know anything about for certain, I can only go with what I feel deep down is there and roll with what comes along.
