With PoP done Jake's got some big choices to make.
Keep the long hair for a little bit or one of these?
Keep it a little bit long but with some style?
Or Bubble Boy it?
Trim off the points and keep medium length?
Or keep one and do a fauxhawk?
Or just getting short and tight?
Brush it up?
Or go for broke and shave it all off?
OMG Season of Sharing
One of the greatest gifts to share costs nothing at all. It is one that can be given over and over every day and it is one of the most powerful and life changing things you can do.
If you want to help others find this joy:
Operation Smile

Operation Smile was launched after its first mission to the Philippines in 1982. Operation Smile currently has a presence in 51 countries.
It might be interesting to see him with a buzz cut. If not, I like him better when his hair is the length in the first picture. And I'd like to see him without the beard.
ReplyDelete^^Me too, I like Jake's hair in the first pic best. And the other - gone, both literally and figuratively. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see him do the Jarhead look again. An extreme reaction to the POP hair. I did not care for the Brothers look at all. Something about it elongated his face and did not bring out the best in his features.
ReplyDeleteI already tossed out my papers but that article about facial expressions was either Thursdays San Francisco Chronicle or Sacramento Bee. I can't recall which one now.
Comments from previous thread.
ReplyDeleteIt could be serious, but meeting the parents is not a big deal.
Haven't seen Reeke together with their respective 'rents, now have we?
Ah but we haven't seen any pics of Ryan and Abbie with her parents have we? Nope, just more PR spin letting us know in advance. Same game, different players.
Not the same game.
ReplyDeleteRyan and Abbie are a couple.
I don't think their relationships are similar in anyway but Ryan and Abbie are playing the PR game right now. Thanksgiving wasn't her first introduction to his family and this won't be his first trip to Australia but they are putting it out there that these events are happening. I assume because it's time, they're together and like I said a year ago they will get married and have a family.
ReplyDeleteTheir people are helping them take all the typical pre-announcement steps. They bought the house, moved in together, are seen together with the kids etc. All of these things are leading up to something and helping to get people used to the fact that they are a real couple. It is the way it works. I'm sure his team was not thrilled that the person who was branded the other woman was going to be permanent but they figured out a way to deal with it in a quiet respectful manner so it didn't do too much damage.
Obviously Ryan and Abbie don't care enough to live their lives in a way that is going to sell movie tickets. They don't make those kind of movies anyway which is fortunate. He learned the hard way that he needs to stand up for himself and be honest about who he is otherwise he'll just be miserable. I hope everything works out for them.
tr, sorry but that's a big pile of bs you are throwing right there. Abbie and Ryan are playing the pr card as you acknowledge, and they too have used the kids to look like this lovely couple etc, so they too are suing the same tactics to build an image and ultimately sell tickets. There is no other purpose in HW.
ReplyDeleteWell I've noticed that the last two pictures of Ryan and Abbie used by US Weekly (going to karate and this week at the airport) they were with the kids but the kids were cropped out of the picture from the karate set and this week a picture from airport that did not show the kids was used.
ReplyDeleteJanice doesn't use pics with the kids without permission remember. I agree with TR I think they are very different.

ReplyDeleteHow in HELL does Jake have so many different looks? Logically I know its the same bone structure, the same nose, cheeks, eyes, brows, mouth, skull, hairline, forehead, the same size dimensions and the same spacing between the features but it just fucking doesn't make sense how he can change his hair style in the slightest and his face will look completely different. I'm starting to believe he has a full time special effects person at home who applies molds and paints his face in whatever persona he wants to be that day. Its really unfuckingbelieveable how his face changes so easily and even more unfuckingbelieveable that they all look good. OK maybe not Bubble Boy so much but I'll take any of the others. Shit what am I saying even if he does the BB look I'll take him. hell yeah.
ReplyDeleteI wonder during PoP if Austin had a difficult time not laughing during intimate moments with Jake looking like Jesus. If it were me I'd have to have sex in complete darkness or doggy style to keep me from busting a gut.
ReplyDeleteROFLMAO!
ReplyDeleteLong hair something to grab and go.
ReplyDeleteOT: I've just seen Heath in I'm Not There. He's downright beautiful in it. Sometimes I think he was so different from Jake:troubled but raw, honest, so incredibly talented. I miss him. It's been almost a year.
ReplyDeleteIf only Jake stopped being a tabloid whore...
The picture of Jake in the white tee is one of my favorites - everything was working, the hair was perfect, the tan, the clean shave, the white tee the lighting that day. And the first picture of him with the longer hair - he just works that look - damn. There's something about him in NYC - I don't know what it is.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Heath is beautiful in I'm Not There. I think Franco in Milk is beautiful in the same kind of way.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to Milk, but it isn't showing in my area yet. I may have to go to where it is showing. I didn't get to see I'm Not There, but I will rent it.
ReplyDeleteLots of good movies coming up - after seeing the previews a couple of times, Benjamin Button is starting to intrigue me, and The Reader looks good, and Defiance.
And I have to say, I'm not usually a big fan of romcoms, but Marley and Me looks kinda cute, I've fallen for the dog. The movie posters, etc., all they need to promote it is a picture of the yellow lab puppy, and in the previews there was a basket of them, and a big collective "awwwww" from the audience. :)
I always crack up when I see the ads for Marley and Me, and Aniston and Wilson seem to have good chemistry together. I like a good romcom, the problem is that only about 1 in a 100 is.
ReplyDeleteI agree Special. I love the white tee short hair look.
ReplyDeleteMilk is awesome. Penn is amazing.
This movie is probably a better movie than Brokeback. Milk is not a gay love story. it is very much a political movie. I can't see Sean Penn losing the Oscar for Best Actor. He will be very tough to beat. The movie has a shot at Best Picture. Right now I think its main competition is Slumdog Millionaire.
I dont know how Jake or Austin could go and see Milk and then come home and look at themselves in the mirror. I certainly hope Jake sees this movie. Milk died begging people to come out. He died for it. Harvey Milk is a HERO.
Maybe I'm the outsider, but I really liked Jake's looks for "Brothers". Especially during the Rendition promotion. I loved the beard. Stop it, (Not Reese)! I know it aged Jake, but I thought the man was handsome as hell! And very manly and mature. He even had a small amount of gray in his beard. I loved it.
ReplyDelete{I wonder during PoP if Austin had a difficult time not laughing during intimate moments with Jake looking like Jesus.}
I like the idea of Jake and Austin together and all, but am I the only one here who thinks that Jake and Austin are over. Hey, I believe Jake is TT, I believe he is gay/bi, and I know most posters on this site believe or want Jake and Austin to be together, but I'm not feeling it. I mostly read the interesting comments on this site especially the OUT spotlight. And I don't try to ruffle things. This is all just my opinion though. I ask again, am I the only one?
Really glad that Heath won the AFI award for best actor.
ReplyDeleteI like pic 5, Jake with short hair. Don't think he's hot though. Austin & Heath are hot IMO.
Abbie and Ryan maybe playing the Reeke game but at least the kids don't look stressed and they are a real couple.
I think J & A are still together and BT is a real possibility.
Haven't seen 'Milk' yet.
Caps off to Austin
ReplyDeleteI am very sorry that I have not
ReplyDeleteposted before now. I have to say
that Austin was really handsome in
Friday's post in the blue shirt!!
I like Jake in white t-shirt, the
suit, and with his hair short!! I
did not think his wearing the beard was so bad. Sometimes I get
to thinking that he sees Reese and
Austin BOTH!! At times, I think
that he is gay/bi also. I just
wanted to praise Wicked and Special K for the wonderful job that they do each and every day!!
I may not post as much for my
boss is wanting me to work 4 days
for the next 2 weeks. I do check
most days on the blogspot just to
see what is going on. For myself,
I think that I will just wait and
see when the films come out on DVD. Everyone have a good week
ahead. I can hardly believe that it is almost Christmas!! The stores are really crowded this time of year!!
