Pick Pick Pick

A little gift showed up this week in the form of an unexpected peek of a tall Texan, courtesy of that special friend who has given us so many wonderful treats before and wanted to share some pictures with OMG. (Thank you Thank you more gold stars for you!)

While it looked like there was a long stretch between filming the The Informers and before doing OTH, and his newer film projects. Don't be so sure. Seems Mr. Nichols did a cameo in a movie that is will be coming out on DVD this Tuesday (6/15).

Much has been said about how people who work with Austin want to work with him again, this project supports that. After making The Informers with director Gregor Jordan' he did a cameo in Jordan's newest movie "Unthinkable", starring Michael Sheen, Samuel Jackson and Carrie Ann Moss, that came out last November in the US.

Unthinkable is "a psychological thriller centered around a black-ops interrogator and an FBI agent who press a suspect terrorist into divulging the location of three nuclear weapons sets to detonate in the U.S.

"Special Agent Helen Brody (Carrie-Ann Moss) is the head of an FBI Counter-Terrorism team, given the job of investigating potential terrorists on American soil. When one of their targets - an American Muslim convert called Steven Arthur Younger (Michael Sheen), now calling himself Yousef - slips through the net, he creates a video claiming to have planted 3 nuclear bombs in 3 different cities in America.
Younger has been captured by the military, and it's Agent Brody's job to learn the locations of the bombs. Brody, however, is not working alone. Due to a fast approaching deadline, a black ops professional interrogator named 'H' (Samuel L Jackson) is brought in to act as the main interrogator, and he has been authorised by the highest powers to use any methods necessary, even those torture methods deemed illegal, in order to extract the desired information from Younger.

Given Younger is ex-military, it's clear that he has prepared himself to face the usual interrogation routines, but H is not about to do things by the book. H and Brody clash over the moral dilemmas of interrogation, but Brody and Younger have no ideas of the unthinkable lengths H will go to in order to extract the truth..." (source)

The movie deals with issue of torture to extract information. Is it morally correct to use any means necessary, no matter how inhumane, for the greater good. Sounds similar to the question raised in Rendition. In Unthinkable it is about getting the location of 3 nuclear bombs planted in American cities that will kill millions, and deactivating them before they are detonated.

Austin is the only actor from The Informers to appear in the movie. And what's Austin’s cameo? A FBI bomb disposal expert in the last scene of the movie.

The movie was filmed from October to December 2008 in LA.

We've know that Austin and Jake have given little winks/ messages to each other on screen, and even a cameo is no different. Let's just say this was an easy pick.

And Jake? What was he doing in October to December 2008? Well he was back and forth from London and LA finishing up PoP. And was doing pickin' and grinning too. Looks like he was sending a wink back.

And from the small world file. Well Sam Jackson has known Jake as a kid. But Jake's dad in Donnie Darko, Holmes Osborne was also in Unthinkable too.

Have a great Austin Friday.

    "Pussyhound"? "Chick"?
If this poster is female why does she refer to other woman as "pussy" and "chicks", and if he is a male he is either a misogynist, or just wants to sound like the kind of guy who trash talks about women with his buddies.
Either way, I find it offensive. I hate those terms for women. And, no, I never call men "dicks", or use the "c-word" for someone I dislike - (I don't mind it used in its proper context as a very old slang word for female genitalia). It dehumanises men and women IMO.

Wow, how interesting. Looking forward to seeing this.

    Happy Austin Friday, all! :)

  4. Holy crap. Have you seen this. The commenter who likes to impersonate me said Ted had a scoop coming and here it is.
"Be careful of a sweet young thing who looks supercute in a matching hair band:
As if ditching her poor PR boyfriend and leaving him out to dry wasn't conniving enough, it turns out sexually adventurous Blind Vice superstar Shafterella Shoshstein was selling out that cute romance partner of hers all along.
Shafterella had arranged to be her ex's publicity-only girlfriend (they were friends and both stars' agents thought it would be a good idea for their A-list careers), but planned all along to dump him. This would leave the world to wonder why the poor dude couldn't make a relationship with a woman work—and fuel gossip that he's gay.
Which, of course, he is, but that's beside the point.
How do we know S.S. had such an evil plan? "She was with the boyfriend she's with now all along," says a source deep within the managerial machinations that put the two very beautiful stars in a relationship. "People think it just started after she broke up, but it didn't, the other guy was there all along—and they were very serious." The dumped boyfriend, by the by, is furious with Shafterella for leaving him in a lurch. He knew people were suspecting his romance with Shoshstein was suspect to begin with, but when she reneged on their PR agreement to be romantically involved (for show), not only did she do it behind his back—and without warning—the dumpee had actually gone to great lengths to curb his own real-life love life, and to make the ersatz affair look as believable as possible.Granted, this was one of the man's worst performances of his career, but let's put it this way: He's ultimately a nice guy and was doing his best to abide by the commitment he'd made to Shafterella, who was diddling somebody else off to the side the whole time, laughing and scheming all along. Wonder when karma's gonna twist her little sweater set around her neck, already? And what I want to know is why aren't there awards in this town for Best Fake Relationship? Oh, forgot, there are: People magazine gives them out weekly."

  6. Why do these juicy things come out just when I have to run to work. I liked it better when Ted posted his article in the evening and we had time to digest it. Anyway, everyone knows Shafterella is Reese. Ted amazes me some days. He got 2 birds with one stone this time.

  7. "People think it just started after she broke up, but it didn't, the other guy was there all along—and they were very serious."

I knew it, and some jumped all over my ass for saying so. It was plain as day.

LOL! I love that Ted refers to her as the "SS".

    So did we!

  11. Another great post, special and great detective work from OMG's special friend. I love how you always manage to find the shoutouts between Jake and Austin.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Wow wow wow. Stone cold bitch indeed.

Her song "Tiny Dancer"? Try "Evil Woman".

Makes you wonder now how you see Sophia with them, that Jake's not going curb anything anymore, if they have to she's coming along.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I thought there was a good chance she'd been with Toth for awhile. It just happened too fast. I also said it was possible they were real.

Boy, talk about confusing your kids though.

    And then there is this:

the dumpee had actually gone to great lengths to curb his own real-life love life, and to make the ersatz affair look as believable as possible.

Sad, and again I've got to wonder why in the hell anybody would put up with that. Austin is just as pathetic as Jake.

And now all the Sophin bearding makes even more sense--an effort to make Jake look straight despite being dumped by his beard.

    ReplyDelete
  14. We've already seen people here and on WFT2 saying Jake being seen with Sophin has to mean Jake and Austin are just friends. I'm sure that was what they were counting on people thinking.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I need some explanation: if it's true, jake knew the guy existed and so he knew he "would break up with her" soon or later right?

Or ted can make us believe he is the victim , didn't know she saw him all along and ha sbeen taken by surprise! Is it credible really?

    ReplyDelete
  16. I think Ted has been sitting on this one for awhile now, and waited until POP was out a couple of weeks.

When you do business with the devil you have to expect you're eventually going to get burned.

Why does Jake continue to keep his manager.....

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yes its credible. I know everyone has a had a different opinion on what kind of Jake we'd get for POP, but I've been saying all along he wanted Reese and the family image. My guess is that the fauxmance was supposed to go on until some respectable time after POP. Reese and Toth probably got tired of waiting when POP got delayed a year.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I have to add don't know what to think of reese and his toth guy. Like "really" they look "out of nowhere" to me,I have pity for the guy when I see him with her, he looks so indiferent to her and she, with her same fake smile kind of " look I am in couple again" blahhh

    ReplyDelete
  19. I love how you always manage to find the shoutouts between Jake and Austin.

Must admit I am a big romantic and think they are too, from the beginning, just looking at TDAT, and the brush against Jake's arms in the scene in the apt. I think have wanted to have memories of them in love on screen, and think they have continued that over the years, now even more so as way not only telling each other that they are think of the other, but telling those who are aware of their love story, how it continues.

    ReplyDelete
  20. No doubt in my mind now that Sophia's "we've been dating for four years" right before the release of POP was intended to fill in the holes, as is Austin bearding with her. It is all about Jake and POP.

    ReplyDelete
  21. "No doubt in my mind now that Sophia's "we've been dating for four years" right before the release of POP was intended to fill in the holes, as is Austin bearding with her. It is all about Jake and POP."

HUG!!! Sophin started long before POP and Reeke break up. Austin does that for him first.

    ReplyDelete
  22. "Doesn't make sense. If Reese was with CAA guy and planned to dump Jake very soon, why was she in NYC and in Pittsburg, why bother?"

    yes why?

    ReplyDelete
  23. No it didn't. Boy, it really explains why last spring Sophia said "we went on like, four dates" and now we're just good friends/almost like family, and then all of a sudden started with the bearding. I bet Reese was making noise about getting out. It's also possible Sophin was doing some light bearding to promote the show, and then turned it up after Jake got dumped.

I guess with a $7 million paycheck on the line, and a lot more if POP was a success, Austin was all too willing to throw his integrity under the bus to get his share.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Boy, how things can change, huh. Jake & Austin are pathetic, I'm sorry.

I've really got to think about getting totally out of the Jake & Austin business. I cannot support them at all at this point.

Tell it like it is, Ted! And thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Thanks to Special and the special friend for today's post. Great to see Austin in more things. Does anybody know when Beautiful Boy is coming out?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Why bother? Because she had a contractual commitment. Plus Toth was probably working in LA, so what was there to miss out on.

It's probably not a coincidence this happened right before the holidays, when Jake was due back in LA from filming. She probably wanted to spend time with Toth, not doing photo opps with Jake that were only going to get her more cries of fake.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Maybe Jake wanted her on the red carpet for Brothers (and later POP). If things were getting serious with Toth, maybe Reese didn't want to do that, and that is why she also bailed right before Brothers came out?

    ReplyDelete
  28. How did Reese screwing Jake over become Jake and Austin pathetic and horrible?

Sorry but Reese screwed him over big time without one ounce of remorse. Yes he was bearding and yes it was one of the worse performances ever, but he did go out to screw up her career, like was her intention.

Who knows how long the commitment was with. And I don't think he wanted her for the red carpet because he wouldn't do the red carpet with her at previous events.

What I do think is that she wanted to screw him over just before he jumped back on screen. Do think she wanted to screw him big time.

I still don't think Sophia rewriting history had to do with PoP.

I'm sorry I just can't figure out how you turn this into not about being Reese being a scheming selfish bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I think have wanted to have memories of them in love on screen, and think they have continued that over the years.

You're making me swoon, Special. Just imagine how that would be, watching TDAT together, at a later time. :)

  30. truth had to be toldJune 11, 2010 at 1:04 PM

Be realistic special K , if you believe in all of that you have to admit Austin and Jake have real issues ( if not mental) with their relationship. Instead of staying private and " single" for the public eyes , they choose to "pretend" and on this point jake didn't choose right I agree with Destiny, but he signed the deal like it or not and Ted said it so kindly:

"the dumpee had actually gone to great lengths to curb his own real-life love life, and to make the ersatz affair look as believable as possible."

In short, the deal was more important than his relationship with austin and his supposed child!
And the worst : he certainly would go on with that if Reese haven't decided to break up.
And now Austin is playing his part til , undoubtly, jake find someone more reliable.

You will understand I hardly feel the romantism in all of that : it's simply disgusting , even more if you believe they are dad!

    ReplyDelete
  31. It is jump to conclusion to say that the contract was more important than his relationship and his child. He knew he had to this deal and he also knew that Reese and probably his management would screw him if he didn't hold up his end. Unfortunately he did realize she was going to screw him anyway.

had actually gone to great lengths to curb his own real-life love life

Honestly I think that meant the trips especially that one to early in 2009, because by the end you could tell he was upset about something.

If it was more important why would Austin stay with him? And why would they have a second child?

You know there could be a one good thing that could come out of this. That Jake got so burned in all of it that he won't beard up as everyone assumes he will.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I agree Truth. That is what I find pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  33. It says to me that he went to great lengths for Austin and child(ren). She threw a wrench into the plan, why I don't know. Did she become tired of it? Did she want to stick it to him? IDK

    ReplyDelete
  34. The only reason this rings true to me is that the ending of the relationship seemed so sudden.

    ReplyDelete
  35. truth had to be toldJune 11, 2010 at 1:40 PM

"If it was more important why would Austin stay with him? And why would they have a second child?"

please tell what is normal in all of that ? tell me what is healthy to begin with?
Tell me if two intelligent and sensed men even in the closet would do that to each other first and to their supposed childs?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I fully believe that the Reeke bearding was only supposed to last through the opening of PoP, so it wouldn't have gone on forever. I also think she got more than she bargained for when PoP was pushed back a year so I don't know if she was completely evil in the whole thing.

However, I do know since it's obvious that she will go to great lengths to never look like the one wronged or a victim for fear of turning into a Jen Aniston so I do think the way she ended it was completely intentional on her part so that she looks like she went on to bigger and better things and then gave interviews making Jake look like he was annoying and clingy.

    Not cool at all.

Also, I wonder if Jake is always going back and forth on coming out like Ted says if there was some of her that was avoiding looking like the girl that he dumped because he liked men. I'm sure that would just be terrible in her mind. So she had to make it look like it was totally and solely her idea. He wanted her! It was she who didn't want him!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I don't think Jake was as heinous as people think he was. Reeke stuff didn't really take up that much time, especially when you take into mind the possibility that they could have taken multiple pictures on the same day and then sold them as different days.

Britney used to do that. They say Lindsey does too. They will wear different outfits and call up the paps to take pictures, then they could make more sales because they look like they were taken on different days and different locations. And it keeps the pics on the gossip sites and magazine covers more.

I digress, I don't think we have the full story of what Austin and Jake did by a long shot. I do think there was a lot more traveling back and forth then we think, a lot more visits. For those who believe in BT- for goodness sakes for the bulk of it BT was a baby! It's not like BT was aware enough to be like hey why do I see this daddy for a couple weeks then both of them and then the other daddy for awhile? That's the only thing he knew so that's his normal. Plus one thing that would be consistent through everything would be the nanny who'd keep the baby's routines as normal as possible through all the traveling.

For any parents of small children any sacrifice of time with them is a huge sacrifice to be made, which could be all he meant or maybe that is even just eluding to the fact that JG had to hide so many things and she couldn't keep the ONE thing hidden that she was supposed to.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I feel this story is a bit convenient anyway for one reason:I hardly believe in Reese and her new guy pairing. They look bore and not really enomored , specially on his part. Reese looks the same: fake.
I believe more in her attempt to be seen as the "hit" girl who can't end up alone you know, she is the eternally attractive mom or at least she'trying to sell it.

As for jake and austin, I sign, these two have mental issue.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Even after the break up, Jake has not said anything bad about Reese, when he has a reason to trash he big time. In fact when asked questions about her during PoP, he would deftly answer the other parts of the question.

Then again not giving her any attention even dissing her maybe the best revenge. Less copy about Reese. And to her its all about how many mentions and pictures she gets.

Reese on the other hand has as Turbulent Mouse said she "gave interviews making Jake look like he was annoying and clingy. As well as all the articles with Jake who?

Again it was giving her copy and photos. That's what she really wants.

Her and Toth? Don't if it's from something real or more out of opportunity and maybe for both them. Toth you'd think would be savy enough to watch his back, because with Reese, don't think anyone is safe.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Back to today's post. You wonder why Austin didn't mention doing another project with Jordan, even if it was just a cameo. Just something little to drop in there.

Can see Austin as a FBI bomb specialist, he has that steady calm presence about him that works for that kind of character.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Number one please reese is no Jennifer Anniston. I really think Jen is much likeable and a far bigger celeb that RW. No comparision there. RW will never be Americas sweetheart.

Personally I dont care if reese had a bf during reeke. reeke was fake why shouldnt she and who cares.

reeke was a 2 yr waste of time created by some idiot who had no clue. What did reeke do for Jake or reese. How is reeses career going. How the hell di PoP go. JG should be kissing Anne Hathaways butt right now.

If Jake did put reeke ahead a Austin and his family them shame on Jake. Austin aint innocent though. I am sure he bought into it and approved of it. I think he got a little sick of it at times but things seemed to be patched up. Both look very happy. sophin will end as soon as OTH gets canceled and I for one doubt it even finishes a shortened season. Jake likes Sophia and I gather Austin wasnt to fond of the general. I think things got really tough during Maggies wedding when supposingly Austin wrote a goodbye letter to Jake and ran off tho Europe. So who knows. Austin may have been really pissed that reese brought her ass over to Italy and maybe wasnt invited. If thats true he had a right to be pissed.

My hope is that they both have learned a lesson and sophin will be short lived. I am not sure Jake will be controled again the way Disney controled him. He looks much too happy and relaxed now. Time will tell. If the charade continues much longer I do agree with those who say they are both a little nuts.

    ReplyDelete
  42. We never did see that pic of reese at Maggies wedding did we PG. I think we only saw her with Jake and Momma G. I always thought that Momma G had a lot to do with reeke but now I think she just stepped in when Jake saw it wasnt working and he asked for her help. God they all wound up looking so foolish. I hoped lessons were learned.

    ReplyDelete
  43. "If the charade continues much longer I do agree with those who say they are both a little nuts."

I fear it's too late to question it.

  44. just saw POP and I must say, Jake was very good in it. Funny thing is I did not once think about OMG, WFT, the gay rumors, Ted, none of it once the movie got started.

The movie was a good summer fantasy escapist treat. Good one Jake.

    ReplyDelete
  45. "Funny thing is I did not once think about OMG, WFT, the gay rumors, Ted, none of it once the movie got started."

good to remind he is an actor first and not only the object of all crazy speculations.
    Iloved the movie too.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I knew you would be talking about all of this mess tonight. I concur with Ted that Reese is a stone cold bitch. Everything she does is for one reason which is to put herself in public eye in the best way possible. She faked it with Jake to make herself look undumped and to have something to compare Ryan to in a negative way. Remember, Jake was everything Ryan wasn't. Jake was patient, mature, gave the kids a consistent parental figure, loved Reese like she was a goddess etc. Until suddenly that wasn't true. The reason Reese bailed on him was that it wasn't working and Team Reese knew it.

Toth was waiting in the wings and she (and the team) scrambled up a new situation. Non-famous guy who was a complete unknown with a blank slate in the public eye. Theoretically he would reflect her shine and not take anything away. Because she was a public relations dream girl prior to Jake. Then she started having some not so nice things insinuated about her and that is just not ok with her or her people. Meetings are held..Shit Gets Real.

So, step one was get rid of Jake. I seriously doubt anyone gave a second thought about his feelings. Step two make Reese look like she was adored but chose her kids over immature, not ready for parenthood Jake. Step Three new blank slate guy. Step Four hot new movie with RPatz who would fall in unrequited love with her.

The best part of the story is how bad it blew up in her face. People's opinion of her has never been lower. She had to dial it back with Jim because of the "where are her kids" opinion. Notice the last few weeks (since her lunch with spin doctor Cindi Berger) she is all about dragging the kids in front of the cameras and for a real message she gets pictures of them WITH RYAN! The reaction is as predicted "OMG she is such a good mother she is still nice to that cheating bastard!!" Notice how thrilled he looked :-) But he goes along with her. He knows what she needs to feel in control and he knows how to keep the peace with her. Jim is in the backseat for the moment.

See in all this Jake is nothing but an afterthought. He was her pawn from the beginning. I don't see him as any type of victim though. He knew exactly what he was getting himself into. He needed to get a girlfriend and he got one who will take his lie to her grave and always give that lie some credibility because most people think she would never do such a thing.

There not like regular people. They live in a world with different rules.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hey TR

Great to see you again. Good insight on the situation. We all knew that Reese never loses, but the reality at the lengths she goes to can throw you. And sadly she is not the worst in HW.

Sad to see the team treat Jake as the afterthought. Maybe that will be the motivation for him to look for management that will really look out for him.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I agree with most of what TR suggests, except that Jake knew what he was getting in to. He has led a pretty sheltered life really. Sure he's traveled and met a huge number of people. But someone was always opening doors and looking out for him along the way. I think this experience was a rude awakening. I hope he has learned from it. Part of growing up.

    ReplyDelete
  49. He may have known that it would be spun that way. I know Ryan knew how he was going to portrayed he just didn't plan to put up with it for the rest of his life. Ryan is still with BWR Nanci isn't his rep but he is still with the firm.

Jake was never with BWR but they did have the same manager. Evelyn O'Neill may have convinced Jake that being portrayed as the jilted boyfriend whose down on love kind of works. He seems much straighter that way.

    ReplyDelete
  50. m - what do you think Jake thought he was getting himself into? How do you think he thought it would play out?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hi tr! Always great to get your input.

So is Toth a real relationship, or another fake one? Wasn't sure what you meant by waiting in the wings.

I know you've never known as much about Jake, but any insight into what Jake is going to do next, or what is driving Austin and Sophia?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Evelyn O'Neill may have convinced Jake that being portrayed as the jilted boyfriend whose down on love kind of works.

Why do I always get the impression that his relationship with Evelyn is complicate one that reminds me of a work version of mother/son one he has trust in her and aims to please and she knows it and sometimes uses that to her advantage.

And so interesting about the latest Ted. Had hoped Jake had ended it, but as it was always all about Reese I shouldn't be that surprised. (It also explains why Sophin has been cranked up).

Also good to see sensible BT comment at 1.52.

"So is Toth a real relationship, or another fake one? Wasn't sure what you meant by waiting in the wings."

the photos oops seem too staged to be real.

"I know you've never known as much about Jake, but any insight into what Jake is going to do next, or what is driving Austin and Sophia?"

Tr is in showbizz? what does he/she know about jake exactly?

  60. The latest BV just confirms to me what a weird world HW is. And also, unfortunately, that POP was really not worth the time and effort.

It just seems bizarre to me that people would go to such lengths to project an public image. What comes to mind is things like at Maggie's wedding last year, that you would be posing for pr shots (we all remeber the rather tatty beach pics with awkward snog with mum looking on don't we) during such a private and important event. The rewards must be very high indeed to go through such a charade. It's funny though that Ted really does make Reese sound totally horrendous, no wonder Jake looks happier now.

Apologises for being a bit pompous.

  61. Dear Ted:
Who is raising Baby Tile? I'm guessing if both his dads are so attached to their respective closets, they wouldn't both be living with Baby Tile full-time. And the beard for Daddy Grey Goose, does she know Baby Tile exists? If so, does she spend quality time with Baby? I'm so curious about how this unusual family works/doesn't work. Betsy and Tacy, my two rescue kitties, are also curious about this whole sitch. Details, please!

    Dear Family Matters:
Darling, this was all arranged ages ago—by professionals. And it largely continues to remain so (to the knowledge of everyone involved, of course), with the exception of Toothy himself.

    Dear Ted:
As a fellow cat lover, I was just wondering; as Crescent Kumquat is just getting into the closet, is he taking any pointers on how to behave from the more experienced inhabitants, for example good old Toothy?
    —Ida

    Dear Role Model:
Not so much Toothy. More Topher Hairy-Tuchas with his Internet hook ups and whatnot.

I think this reply connects Toothy with the Shafterella blind item yesterday. It means that at the moment everything continues according to the original plan designed by Toothy’s management/PR team (bearding and keeping the baby away from the public eye), except Toothy, because Reeke failed to last longer as it was the initial plan.

Another clue is that this Toothy question is followed by a mention of Reese (Shafterella):

    Dear Ted:
I found Scarlett Johansson absolutely sexy and stunning in Iron Man 2, and that kiss she pulled off with Sandra Bullock at the MTV Movie Awards was perfect. I'm also a fan of Robert Pattinson. I think he's amazing and I was wondering, what do you think about ScarJo and Rob doing a movie together? Now that is movie I'd definitely watch.
    —Diedre

    Dear Come To Hollywood:
Sure, I'd see it. Maybe a caveman romance so we can get Rob in a loin cloth? Just a suggestion. But could you imagine the tabloid headlines? "Scarlet Johansson Leaving Hubby For R.Pattz!" No thanks, Reese rumors are stupid enough for me.

more seriously, HW people aren't more bizarre than anyone else! the difference is that they are public figures and many things spoil the image we have of them. Spoiled by their agents and the gossip buziness. Both have their agendas, sometimes work hand in hand, sometime against each other. Hard to see the truth in all of that. But the actor are humans like everyone else with all that included.

Even if nobody know what's going on jake, reese, austin, sophia'heads my feeling is that if you're in Ted team from the start you have to wonder some questions.
Wasting your time with such energy on a deal like reeke during 3 years whereas you supposed to live a wonderful love story and having a family isn't healthy but weird and give a not flattering image about jake'priorities. A guy who puts his public image and career before the rest is telling IMO. Same for Austin who follows his way and even more since he isn't afraid to walk the red carpet with "his" sophia, let her saying declaration out of the blue and other things...
The signs some see or want to see like the "rings" or anything else I don't remember, seem to me so irrelevant by their acts.
I'd want to know how they see their future together if they can't accept who they are we think they are.

Ted as usual doesn't really answer the questions. And the questions were about the who is caring for the alleged BT. So I don't see how Reeke ending sooner than it was supposed to as anything to do with it. It had to end eventually, so I don't see how that relates to BT. "with the exception of Toothy himself" might be a hint that, except for the professionals (nannies, etc.), he is the most involved with raising the BT. Sounds to me like he's saying Grey Goose doesn't live with Toothy on a daily basis.

  67. tr, to answer your question re what Jake expected, I think he is too trusting and a bit naive and did not think Reese would turn on him or throw him to the wolves. He shows a lot of respect for his elders, and Reese was his elder. At the beginning of Reeking she was also held in high regard. Not a bad thing, respect for elders and clout, but HW is a cut throat business. Everyone is competing against each other with huge financial stakes at risk. I think Jake did not expect anything to go wrong when they all sat around a conference table planning the bearding.

  68. I have no idea what Ted is saying. Seems like another one of his occasionally crappy answer when you wonder if he was really paying attention when he wrote it. Kind of like his answer a few months ago when he implied studios heads in HW didn't know he was gay.

And I agree lurker that he doesn't answer the question, probably because he doesn't know the answer.

The way I read it, everybody knows what's going on except TT himself! Sounds like some kind of PR plan, and no way to raise a child? Why I don't know.

    "professionals" = so cold

at leat we know now there is only one BT.

or are they saying TT is the only "non-professional" involved and in the know? Why even have a child? I can understand if they are referring to having a child, but raising him? I don't get it. We know that TT is rarely home and/or filming and promoting movies.

  72. Or maybe they mean that it was all arranged by professionals in that they all have their roles. And they are all doing what it is they are supposed to be doing except for Toothy who is not currently bearded and keeps getting non set up pictures taken of him?
