While Austin is busy getting ready to see if Irene comes calling, there is no forgetting today is Two Wheel Tuesday.
Get on your bike and ride!!
thanks for the tip and the early photos. I have it set to tape as I have to be at work on time today and must run, but will watch tonight.
ReplyDeleteBen Lyons has always had a crush on Jake. So apparent in their interviews. Cute.
What a wonderful program this morning!
ReplyDeleteI also love today's Two-Wheel Tuesday bike - it looks like it's from the Wizard of Oz or something. :)

CNN is reporting that a 5.8 earthquake in Virginia has been felt in Washington, D.C. 90 miles away.
ReplyDeleteJust heard about it. I've texted Tom to make sure he's okay! Need to make sure Wicked is okay!
ReplyDeleteThey are saying the earthquake was 5.9 and was felt in PA, MD,Washington DC, and NY and even to up here to MA, and Martha's Vineyard. And it was felt down south to NC, and all the way to Atlanta.

Not phased by the earthquake today. I was too busy preparing to do battle with Irene. #hurricaneireneabout 2 minutes ago
ReplyDeleteRocking in Philly today. That was definetly earth shaking.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the txt PG. I was at work when the earthquake hit. I was actually standing near a window and could see things shaking. I knew what it was right away. Apparently there hasn't been an earthquake on the East Coast that big in over 100 yrs. Just saw an interesting explanation on ABC Worlds News. Earthquakes on the West Coast happen along a fault. This Earthquake involved a entire plate of earth stretching from NC and Atlanta to New York and Canada. That same plate was from the coast out to Pittsburgh and Ohio. It would be like taking a dinner plate and just tilting it from side to side.
ReplyDeleteI wanna hear what everyone experienced today who felt the Earthquake. Special, Destiny, Roma, Austin, Etc......
ReplyDeleteThat's wild, Tom. What do you do? Where do you go?
ReplyDeleteI have to go check a few websites. I saw where Nick Ashford passed away and I want to read about it. Someone at work also told me news on Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith that I want to go check on as well.
This earthquake is just unreal - the magnitude of its reach.
Hey, it looks like Just Jared has the video for Jake's appearance on the Today show. He sure looks awfully thin in the picture.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, one of my favorite all time Seinfeld episodes is on right now.
"Ah, separate knob. Why separate knob?!!!"
LOLLLLL!!!! Jean Paul!!!! Jean Paul who has come to NYC to run a marathon and Elaine mis-sets the timer on Jerry's microwave!!!
It kills me every doggone time.
So sad to read about the passing of Nick Ashford, of Ashford & Simpson. What a tremendously talented married duo of songwriters. They are legendary and wrote so many songs for artists.
ReplyDeleteI liked that they were married and stayed married all these years - sounds like they were so fortunate to have found each other.
Solid as a Rock!! And Found a Cure!!! Thank you for the music, Nick Ashford.
This is kinda funny. I was looking at an Afternoon B-Back by Ted and at the end of the thread was the Comment box and you know how they put in a weird shaped looking word that you have to transcribe and translate?
ReplyDeleteThe word right now in my box is:
Tooth
LOLLLLLLLL
We are having a lot of construction on the streets surrounding the house, so when the rumble hit here I just thought one of the big pieces of equipment was rolling down the street or they dropped the bucket too hard.
ReplyDeleteThere was no rumble, just a slight swaying motion.
ReplyDeleteIHJ screencapped the whole Today show clip. So if you want to see more of Jake check them out.

An earthquake centered in Virginia shook the Eastern Seaboard just before 2 p.m., and was felt as a rumble lasting several seconds in the Boston area. Some buildings in the area were evacuated, while officials inspected them, but there were no immediate reports of serious damage.

Dear Ted:
ReplyDeleteIs Toothy Tile's family aware of his private life? How far into his social circle are people aware of his real preferences and his child's existence? And what's his romantic fake status currently?
—PLP
Dear Tile Phile:
Trust, Tooth isn't too secretive about his par-tick preferences when you get to know him. It's more the general public he's keeping his biz away from.

"Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy"?
I've had my fill of earthquakes over the years so sorry you guys had to go through it. The most unsettling feeling there is. The earth is not supposed to move, except when you are having sex.
ReplyDeleteWell no surprise there from Ted. Toothy has been known to be an open secret in his home town for a long time.
