No Sweet Home Chicago, he was spotted in Austin, but is that a stopover in the grand plan of catch me if you can while heading back East to NYC?
Austin wants to be thought to be anywhere but in the city so nice they named it twice, so for that here is places Austin could say he was instead:
10. The Dentistry Museum in Baltimore Maryland. What? Too Obvious?
9. The frequent flyer he is why not the Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, Alabama.
8. He's been to Italy and couldn't but at Cal State Fullerton he can. The Fallen David in Fullerton CA.
This replica of Michelangelo's David fell during the Whittier Narrows earthquake of 1987. Forrest Lawn donated the broken pieces to Cal State Fullerton. The pieces are identical in size, material and surface to Michaelangelo's original. Campus legend has it that rubbing the butt of the "Fallen David" sculpture will bring you good luck on finals. Then again there's things to rub in the East.
7. Here's one way to be seen with a lady and it's not a problem if it seems wooden (or fiberglass in this case). The Lady of the Lake, Elberta. Alabama.
6. It's not Wild Turkey but the boy loves his beer how about Cano's Castle in Antonito, Colorado. It isn't exactly made entirely of beer cans. It's more like a few smashed beer cans nailed to the walls, along with hubcaps and strips of aluminum. But Beer Folk Art it is.
5. He stood by the picture, now he can stand by the statue, The Bronze JFK in Fort Worth Texas.
4. He bowls, so the Caveman and Leprechaun bowling art in Tuscon would not look suspicious to visit.
3. He played a bomb disposal expert in a cameo in Unthinkable why not visit the Bomb Squad Memorial in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
2. Branson, Missouri! 'nuff said. Well maybe after EoW he just needs to see The Baldnobbers or the most famous bathroom at The Shoji Tabuchi Theatre, where there's a pool table in the men's room.
And #1. Because it's almost Christmas, the World's Oldest Santa Claus Statue in Santa Claus, Indiana.
Plenty of places to go Austy, but none of the places your going to be. We know wh
I still can't watch BBM, too painful.
ReplyDeleteDonnie Darko is one of my favorites, discovered it just a few months before BBM when I had no idea who Jake was.
Donnie Darko finds it's way to my DVD player every few months. It still blows me away when you think about how old Jake was, how short the shoot, and the performance he gave.
ReplyDeleteLove and Other Drugs was on today. Jake was looking good. The storyline went off course, but he was looking damn good.
