While there are no kale spot maps out yet - there is a coffee map of NYC that could help Jake remember where he is when they are trying to tweet, pap and print him being somewhere in the city.
Oh don't worry Jake there's an app for it. Just don't confuse it with Grinder or you will give your team a stroke.
Now if there was an app to tell you where the fauxs go so you could make sure you don't have to deal with them. Wait - you might already have that.

ReplyDeleteToday is historic. Jason Collins will become the first openly Gay male active player in the history of USA professional sports. He will be playing pro basketball for the Brooklyn Nets. Congrats Jason. So sweet. So sweet :-)

ReplyDeleteI wonder if the NBA felt pressure from the recent news from Michael Sam and the NFL to make sure they haven't forgotten that one of their own came out too and they did right by him.
Having the NBA and NFL both having active out players sends a message to other professional sports, players and especially the fans and the public that this is a new era in sports.

Look at his left leg in that thing. His left hip and entire leg look like they were sliced too much. In fact, his left leg looks so thin, it looks like an artificial limb.
I'm just sayin'.

Interesting though that Collins contract is for short term I've heard. I need to find out more about this signing.
Another thing that's interesting, does it seem like most of the players who have come out in the "Major" sports are of color. Active, meaning (Collins) now, hopefully active, (Sam), or came out recently after retiring, (Davis, Tuaolo). Heard of many rumors but can't find or remember any other major sports figures.
Now Glenn Burke was another major sport player MLB who let everyone know of his sexuality, although the Dodgers and A's suppressed it and didn't know what to do with him. Then the A's got rid of him. Just a thought!
Many rumors about white major sports athletes, but not one of them have come out yet.
Now I do believe Troy Aikman and Aaron Rodgers is hiding something.

And, like clockwork, the Big Guy lets everyone know that he's on his way to NC to start filming OTH on January 8. I guess after spending the holidays thru January 7 with Jakie and the family, it was time to get back to work. No one can say that Austin is not a generous man.

Now, we get stories planted of Jake beginning to film in countries he is nowhere near. Arriving at airports where he is not seen. And, on dates which do not coincide with his actual schedule.
You really do need two Outlook calendars for Jake and Austin. You need one for real time events and then you need one for JakeWorld time.
