Hotter than Hell

...and that's not the Rotel

Austin likes hot stuff.
And that he knows what hot is growing up in Texas. Like they say :

“If I owned Hell and Texas I would rent out Texas and live in Hell”

But it looks like the heat is getting to him today.

I am shooting on a soundstage and it is 105 degrees. My clothes are soaked. I'm melting.
- AUS10

They also say if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen, but should Austin just avoid Hell and stay out of Tyler's kitchen?

His Crazy Tree co-star Tyler tweeted asking fans who on the cast he should do a cooking show with and there were a lot of suggestions for Austin.

And while it has great comedic potential, it has great potential for Hell hath no fury like a chef scorn. No doubt there be someone not happy at all to see his favorite sous chef cooking with any but him.

I know how to butter your biscuits and flap your jacks.

Everyone in the heat: stay smart, stay cool, and keep hydrated.

Happy Austin Friday.

  4. It hit 103 today here in Boston. The last time it was that hot was 86 years ago.

E.V. is probably on a beach with a tall cool drink in his hand. : )

  7. NG girl so sorry. Seems like no where is safe. Why would such a peaceful place like Norway be hit. Hard to understand.

  8. we have connections in afgahnisan and libya. we are a very good friends of the USA. but i am surprised they hit us. such a small country. i guess the the target was to scare people, not how many that would been killed. we are just 4 and half million people...

    ReplyDelete
  9. the police in norway try not to scare people. i think its clear what this is. its a warning, i think, what do you tink that was?

  13. NG

It seems unbelievable for a country were the Noble Peace Prize originated that this violence has happened.

I saw something that it might connected to the newspapers running the cartoon with the image of Mohammed.

Sending you and all those there good thoughts and prayers.

  15. It is very upsetting to have a violent act occur in your country but to have two in one day? Tragic. Peace to you and your loved ones, ng. I'll be thinking of you tonight.

  21. Such senseless acts of violence against ANY human soul are heart-breaking. I lost three Very close friends on 9/11 and I will never forget the grief and pain...Norway is such a peaceful country...WHY?

  22. Special, wish I could have escaped the worst heat in 84 years here in Boston with a cocktail on the beach in Winthrop. I was working until 9:00 p.m. But I did take a cocktail down to the beach (we have a private stretch of beach where the town has no jurisdiction lol)as I thumb my nose at the "public beach" patrons :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hey EV some of us aren't so lucky with those private beaches, we've got to go those public ones. LOL.

It's sleeping out on the sunporch tonight with all windows open and hoping to catch a nice breeze along with the wall of fans.

  24. So, Jakey-poo is on the frenzied shores of Waikiki, somewhere???

  25. Special, you're welcome ANYTIME here...Blue line to Orient Heights and fifteen minutes to Winthrop Point Shirley. My door is OPEN!

  26. Terrible news about the incidents in Norway. I am just listening to the news now but to target children and teenagers makes no sense. Sounds like a nut case rather than a politically motivated thing.

  27. I feel awful talking about trivial things with such tragedy but I watched Torchwood this evening. Very hot man on man sex scene. Barrowman is so handsome. And the guy he has sex with was not bad either.

Sounds great, Special! I've been going for evening walks at the beach, it's been gorgeous. One night it was so fogged in you'd never know it was sunny elsewhere. I didn't mind a bit. I never got that concept either, EV, about private beaches!

Driving across Nevada was beautiful, but HOT? I felt like I would dry up and blow away like a leaf without bottled water constantly. Beautiful though.

    Keep cool, everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  29. EV, you had us going there! lol. Hey, at least you have access to the beach, now that's the way to relax - enjoy the water.

Be sure and use lots of sunscreen!!!

I am watching That's My Mama on some TV network called One. LOL. I remember this show. It's still funny. Clifton Davis was and still is gorgeous. And Earl the postman. LOLLLLL. I loved him. And if I remember right, the guy who played Isaac on The Love Boat is on here, too. Or maybe that was another sitcom where he played a postman.

  30. I'm sorry you had a restless night, NG. We did too as Puddy was up constantly. Hopefully, ng, these senseless acts will unify your country people - a lot of times they do have a way of doing that.

I thought I would pull a chilly looking pic from my nifty little avatar folder. It's my moose on the balcony from this past winter.

Oh my gosh, Rollo is in this episode. Wow, he's younger here. Rollo was in another sitcom with the gorgeous Clifton Davis where he played a minister with Sherman Helmsley. Who knows the name of that show? I loved that show.

And here's Ted Lange, except he doesn't play a mailman. He is hilarious in this show.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh my gosh now that guy who owned the radio station on another sitcom is on this episode. What was his name...with Johnny Fever and Loni Anderson. Crap.

I started to google Clifton Davis so I could look up some pictures and about the third or fourth search that came up was Clifton Davis gay.

So then I found this blurb about Sherman Helmsley which I may have to do some more research.

Clifton Davis Needs to Come Out of the Closet Already

    Hmm. Interesting.

  32. Clifton Davis wasn't just gorgeous. That man had charisma, charm, sensuality and sexy alllllll over the place.

Gosh, I love this show. I may have to search for the box set.

WKRP in Cincinnati!! lol Mr. Carlson!! That's who was in this episode. Gosh, I just love these old sitcoms. I'd rather watch these things than any CSI or Law & Order drama any day.

  33. EV works security at a airport in MA. He saw/heard that Jake and Maggie and probably Peter, Mom and Ramona were flying to Hawaii, or else he ehard it through the grapevine in MA since he said that his parents used to know Stephen and Naomi from MV. Since EV moved back to MA, he must be stil in touch with that crowd or he heard it via his job.

There were tweets/fb sightings of Maggie and Jake flying to Hawaii.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Since he posted his little hints well before anyone else tweeted/FB'd Jake/Maggie being on a plane to Hawaii isn't that some sort of breach of security? Which could be grounds for dismissal from his employment? He better be careful, someone might drop a dime on him. He's given enough personal information on this site that it wouldn't be too difficult to track him.
