Irresistable Impression

Yesterday Austin tweeted about his new TV movie, his second for Lifetime.

Check out this great movie FIVE. October 10th on Lifetime. 9/8c. Five short films. I'm in the first one. directed mine. -Aus10
And it is the second time he has worked with Demi Moore, who play's Lola's (Miley Cyrus) mom in LOL.

Everyone who works with Austin always says they would love to work with him again. Does make you wonder if Demi felt the same way and had Austin in mind for the part of the big brother in the story she directed.

Because, come on there's just something about that smile, resistance is futile.
Happy Austin Friday!

And for those observing Yom Kippur which begins this evening at sundown,

  1. So right, that smile is killer. Between Jake's eyes and Austin's smile, and the incredible charm both have, neither stood a chance. Love at first sight.

  2. Could not have said it better, m. Closeted Jake works hard to keep the public away from that toothy smile of his these days (often sporting a scowl or a hardened glare) whenever his eyes meet the lens of a camera. Still, he possesses the ability to leave a dazzling impression when it suits him. Dimples and all, sans the nearly ubiquitous beard he has when he isn't working. No doubt, part of his closeted disguise to hide himself away from the world.

  4. I love the 5th picture down. Hair all messy and those pearly whites. Talk about Toothy. Yum love to taste.

  6. Since Reese dumped Jake's ass he constantly wears a beard, when he's not working, probably so he can fit in with every other hipster in LA and NY. He use to pay attention to his clothers and hair too. Even wear a splash of color every now and then. Now, he wears neutral colors most days and when he wants to throw caution to the wind he'll opt for dark gray. The change in his outward appearance these past few years has really been noticeable.

  9. Jason, totally agree as well. And let's not forget 2011's go-to, wear-'em- til-they walk light tan pants.

Although notice that the plain wardrobe, Mac book, IPod and beard really haven't stopped people from recognizing him. He's had more tweets while in NYC than he does when he's in CA.

I think it's too bad. I looked at that picture of him in the baby blue hoodie that Special posted the other day and it just shocked the heck out of me.

It's obvious he doesn't want to draw attention to himself and wants to try and blend in. I just don't get someone as good looking as him going around in buzz cuts and covering everything up in facial hair.

When's the last time we saw that incredible beauty mark above his upper lip? Man, what a stinkin' shame to never let that sexy mole see an ounce of daylight anymore.

  10. I can really see Austin leaving an impression on Demi after working with him during his week of filming for LOL. I think he is a consummate performer who is prepared, works hard, and respects his fellow cast and crew members. That and I think he just charms the hell out of anyone he meets.

  12. Another broken hearted baseball fan this morning. Oh well at least the Yankees won't win either:-)

  13. Ahh, sorry to hear, Tom! Funny how so many fans take solace in the Yankees' elimination.

  15. Hey Tom, wanted to tell say - I feel your pain. I was watching the game. Oh so sad seeing Ryan Howard pull up lame at the same time the Cardinals celebrated.

And you're right the Yankees being out of it helps the heartache a little.

  16. Well it looks like we will only have the Flyers to follow this year in Philly. No basketball and the Eagles aren't looking good.

I think the changes in Jakes appearance are about 95 % butching it up.

  17. Sorry about the Phillies Tom, and the fact that you can't even take any comfort in the Eagles.

  18. I just don't get the Phillies. They have the best record im major league baseball two seasons in a row and don't even make it to the World Series. Seems like when the playoffs come they just cant get the key hit. I love Ryan Howard but two years in a row he made the last out when the final game was on the line.
