All roads lead to Rome

Jake has been found and it looks like it movie magic time

Jake was photographed today in Rome out for dinner a stroll and bit of tour at local church.

The Church of St. Louis of the French (Italian: San Luigi dei Francesi, French: Saint Louis des Français, Latin: S. Ludovici Francorum de Urbe) is a Roman Catholic church in Rome, not far from Piazza Navona. The church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, to St. Denis the Areopagite and St. Louis IX, king of France. The church was designed by Giacomo della Porta and built by Domenico Fontana between 1518 and 1589, and completed through the personal intervention of Catherine de' Medici, who donated to it some property in the area. It is the national church in Rome of France.

The church's most famous item is the cycle of paintings in the Contarelli Chapel, painted by the Baroque master Caravaggio in 1599-1600 about the life of St. Matthew. This include the three world-renowned canvases of The Calling of St Matthew, The Inspiration of Saint Matthew, The Martyrdom of Saint Matthew.

But that might not be only church he saw today.  A tweet of Jake from inside San Pietro (St. Peter's) appeared this afternoon too.

Everest is set to start filming on set in Rome for part of the movie before moving on to Pinewood Studios in England.

From the looks of him, Jake looks like he is ready to be captive on the side of a mountain, but he does get some points for carrying an actual book to read. (#booklove)

  1. I didn't know you played the piano Special.

I have zero talent when it comes to music, sadly.

I have terrible flashbacks seeing Jake in Rome, PTSD I guess. :-D

  2. As long as there is no piggy back rides I think I can handle Rome.

But where is that cute tour guide with a scarf?

  3. Hopefully that has been eliminated from the PR handbook, it looks ridiculous no matte who does it.

  4. Aargh yes, the flashbacks! It's good to see more normal photos.

Wonder how long Jake has been in Europe?

  5. That's the $64,000 dollar question London.

Jake might have been in Europe longer that is being publicized (probably so).

  6. The tall man with his back to the camera in the fan photo with Jake reminds me of someone else's long slim legs with a wide gap between the thighs. Could it possibly be Austin? Maybe the person that took the photo just knows who Jake is and is not necessarily a fan that knows about Austin. I could be wrong. Just a thought. ;)

"PTSD". lol. That cracked me up.

Jake has been living high off the hog for the past how many weeks. He's been floating down the river in his big bird raft, carried by the waves of "Mystery Brunette", "Ol' Tay Deflowering" and "Reunited with the SI Model".

    **bob bob bob bob bob**

    Just floooooatin' along...just a' floatin'......

Letting his people and social media do all the work....

**bob bob bob bob bobbin' along**

Man oh man...... "another Daiquiri, sir???? Little bit of Coppertone on the back? Let me get that for you, by all means"

  8. That next to the last picture (the fan photo) kills me, I have to say.

lol. I mean, wth, Jake? He really is channeling Festus in that picture, isn't he? The high water pants aren't helping either.

I've been looking at pictures of Scott Fisher and while that guy had a ponytail at times, I've not seen any pictures of him with a gnome-like beard. And then there's the hair color.

If Jake can lose 30 lbs. in order to get "into" his role as Nightcrawler Lou to show that he's a method actor, then why would he not dye his hair more blond so that he looked more like Scott?

Every picture I see of Scott Fisher, that guy is blond, blond, blond. Yet Jake hasn't dyed his hair. That would help, wouldn't you think, to help make him look more like the guy that he's playing?

    I don't understand that.

  9. Just askin'.....

Boy, I was reading up some more on people who have died on that mountain and the stories are so gruesome and some of the pictures just creepy. j
It's not just the cold that kills people.

It's incredibly dangerous climbing and working around all the ice and cliffs. People have fallen to their deaths, been crushed, etc. Do you know that some young 22 yr old guy died trying to snowboard down that mountain? That's got to be one of the craziest things I've ever heard.

I just don't understand the desire to climb such a dangerous mountain where before you climb it, you have to sign a paper that says if you don't make it back, do you want people to go retrieve your body? Or do you want your body to remain up there.
It's just been some incredible reading.

  10. The church is beautiful. The churches in Europe are all so old and amazing.

Jake looks so Yuck. Where has the hotness gone. I guess str8 men cannot be beautiful.

  11. Tom, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. OK Jake is still hot imo. Nothing wrong with changing your style every now and then, no matter if some like it or not. You do you for you, not for others. Women change thier style and lools very often, some men want to also.

When I saw the Jake in Rome post I knew it would generate a slew of PG comments. And, they came as usual. lol

  12. Jake looks like he needs a shower and a shave. The basilica is huge so he would not stand out there. But I would think he'd dress a little better for the visit. I'm not religious but I dressed up a bit when I visited out of respect if nothing else. Different generation, I guess.
