Big Hands, Big Burgers?

What's up for Julian?
Quinn and Brooke organize a photo shoot, while Julian is the coffee boy. Brulian gets their picture taken. Alex like any diva believes bigger is better. And she gives Julian a interesting proposition. Mouths ups the stakes with Skills - how do you up the stakes after naked. (oh I don't want to know) Clay and Nathan disagree on how to handle NBA Baby Momma drama, and Haley begins to wonder if the accusations have could be true and writes a song about it.(just kidding but come on what is she going to sing about? Her 3 chardonnays a day?)

"big hands, I bet he has a really big...

Feet? Forehead? Ears? Burgers? gotta be burgers.

Seems from Austin's interview with Teendrama, that one thing missing from Wilmington is In-n-Out burgers. I feel his pain, they are so good. And yes it is fast food.

But In-N-Out stays focused on the basics. Burger, fries, shakes. That's it.
The beef is fresh, never frozen. Food isn't cooked until you order. But burgers, fries and shakes is not as boring as it sounds. In-n-Out's not so secret anymore menu has other options like the 3x3 (which has three patties and three slices of cheese), the 4x4 (like the 3x3 but with four patties and four slices of cheese), grilled cheese sandwich (comes with everything that the burgers come with, plus two slices of melted cheese), veggie burgers (comes with everything that the burgers come with; is not an actual veggie patty, and does not come with cheese), and Animal Style, mustard cooked patty, pickle, extra spread, and grilled onions, A Flying Dutchman two meat patties with 2 pieces of cheese in between sans bun, or protein style is when the burgers are wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. Most popular is the Double Double (two patties 2 slices of cheese) the argument is whether it is regular or animal style.

Austin? Wonder how he takes 'em.

Back to the interview. Austin is savy while answering he does give the winkin' blinkin' and nod to several things. Or is that glitter and twitter? Don't think his mention of a family, kids is coincidental either. And his story? Well in summer of 2007 he did profess he loves pregnant women. Hmmm why? Savy wordsmith indeed. It is great to see that the cinephile remains, and catching movies the reminder of why he loves what he does. As outgoing as he is, it seems that it's introvert things like writing, music, and movies that recharges him.

..........................................................................................................................................................................

It is very likely that all is quiet on the Love & Other Drugs front today with it being the holiest day in the year for those of Jewish faith. And before you debate Jake's observance, it is most like director Ed Zwick who is the person who made that decision and would have happened with or without any others of his cast being Jewish.

Yom Kippur began last night at sundown until sundown today, and for those who observe fasting, prayer, and attending services. It refers to asking forgiveness for ways in which we have missed the mark in the past year. This could be wrongdoing of any kind, including lying, being unkind, not doing one’s best, not taking advantage of every opportunity to be helpful or standing by when you could have helped. And even if you are not Jewish there is something to said for having a day to look back over you past year and be mindful . Many times we miss these things in the rush of our lives. It is also a time to forgive others and let it go. The reset button push.

  1. My mom has not lived in California in over a decade, buit she still raves about In 'n Out (I never had one, I do not eat beef).

Totally agree with what you said about work PG. I have never understood people who are valued based on how prestigious their work is or how much money they make.

  2. From previous Post:

"As for the pretending to be a couple thing... They were photographed holding hands in Soho.
That's hardly holding hands, pictures show that there is no "dating" chemistry."

LOL, What about you chemistry with your Mrs. or Mr.? What some see as chemistry between other folks are their opinions. Simply because YOU yell out, "they have no chemistry" for whatever your motive is, does not make it true. Only for you. For a survey of 1000 people who do not know of this blog and the J and A gay rumors, some may see chemistry between Austin and Sophia. Stop being so threatened. Nobody's trying to change your mind about Jake or Austin being gay, so stop trying to change others. Some just see the two guys as more complex than the Jake and Austin gay forever - slash fans do.

Geez, here's a whole new tactic. Try to convince us Austin is not gay. I guess they had to try something new since none of the other attempts worked.

^^ Another threatened fan. You believe the guy is gay, that's your perogative. OK Some don't care. What's with the worrying? Don't understand it. All that's true is Jake has spent over 3 years with Reese. Something is going on. Austin and Jake meet up every now and then. We know that also. Good buddies do this. Good Fuck buddies do this also. OK Now Austin is seen often with Sophia.
    May they like a little
(Feline - Cat) every now and then.
I happen to think they like a little ball park (Franks) every now and then. Then they snuggle up to the cat smelling like they've been to a Red Sox game. My take on things

  3. Even Ted C's weakness is In-N-Out Burger. Think Jake might even succumb to fast food if it's In-N-Out.

I saw it a lot but will say it again Austin is a sneaky smartie in interviews.

Here's an article about how Sophia is getting "that's what she said said" jokes than Stephen Carrell.

Does that mean Austin and Jana(Alex) are her straight men?

    Right.

  5. Would You Do Jake Gyllenhaal With These Plastic Abs?

We seriously didn't think Jake Gyllenhaal's campy costume for the upcoming Disney flick Prince of Persia: The Story of Jake's Pecs could get more guffaw-worthy (despite the pretty damn doable bod itself, minus overdone Fabio trappings), but then we saw J.G.'s Lego action figure. Sorry, folks, we don't even get a pint-size superhero-esque action figure of chiseled Gyllen-hon to play with, but this supercute and totally harmless plastic children's toy instead? And it pretty much captures the doability—or lack thereof—of present-day Jakey perfectly.

    Oh no?

Try as we might, we just can't drool over a guy who's become as vanilla as the soy latte we always catch him sipping alongside Reese. Manically manicured biceps 'n' abs in themselves don't make a real man, and neither does prancing around in a supersilly getup with an even more impractical piece of arm candy. We so know Gyllen-babe would rather jump back into indie film land and do his less pumped-up, more moody thing. He's so damn good at it, remember?

Is being a big, sweaty H'wood He-Man that important to ya, Jake? 'Cause this Lego figure almost pulls it off better than you have so far.

Please. For the sake of those three of us left who still swoon over ya, Jake, replace the gym and the GF with your true self. It was the hottest thing round there for a while.

  6. Aww, poor Ted. Hear! Hear!

Alas, it's falling on deaf ears, I'm afraid.

This day didn't start off well at all, I'm afraid. A longtime friend of my mom & dad's passed away last night of lung cancer. She was diagnosed just not very long at all after my dad. Her & her husband have been buds with my folks since I can remember. Her husband was my Accounting/Bookkeeping teacher in H.S. and he was great. I still can't think of him as anything other than Mr. Shepherd. We just heard last week that Hospice was being called in and my mom was going to go see her but it was too hectic at their house last week so she was going to go this week. And now she's gone.

I hate that disease with a passion. It keeps taking spouses away from their partners and grandparents away from their grandkids, and on and on.

My lil' buddy and I are having alot of fun with the new guy in the office. He sure is funny. Mondays aren't ever good for him at work and so he was boo hoo'ing over every little thing this morning. I told him we were going to install a Cry-O-Meter on Mondays and my lil buddy said yeah, we would see where it was at by 11 o'clock. lol. He's a good sport; I think he likes all the attention. It sure is fun to have him in the office.

Ted's little piece up there ^^^ sure hit the nail on the head, didn't it? What's sad is it's just pointless and futile. Ain't nothin' stoppin' that Reeke Train.

Hey, at least tonight is OTH. woohoo! Get to see the Buckles man and see what little they have Austin wearing this time, lol.

  8. Ted has said that Jake had become boring when he settled down with Austin. I wonder if there is some of that too that lingers in what Ted is saying.

But notice that the way Ted wrote it he's still a fan.

Agree that Reese is not the right person by a long shot. But that all can be changed. And I am confident it will be.

Jake has been out of the interview kind of press for so long, that just the pictures have taken over. I think that interesting part of him will be seen again when he sits back down for interviews for Brothers. It has been 2 years. I think the quirky, funny Jake will be back.

He seems to be winning Pittsburghers over, since he's been there. And enjoying the city too. Here's betting he will taking in a Pitt or Steelers game before filming is over.

Austin's still captivated with him, and think there is a little someone who going to like his Lego version.

  9. Special you missed it. Not football, baseball. WDW just updated Jake going to a Pittsburgh Pirates game last week with Ed Zwick.

Sitting directly behind us was actor Jake Gyllenhaal of ”Brokeback Mountain” fame, along with some other Hollywood types, including director Edward Zwick. (I later learned that Gyllenhall is filming a movie in Pittsburgh with Anne Hathaway, who, sadly, was not in attendance.)

I am not a starfucker by any stretch of the imagination, but it was hard not to eavesdrop on some of the dialogue unfolding behind us. At one point, one of the guys in Gyllenhall’s entourage noted that the Pirates have the least errors of any team in the National League but are still mired in last place.

“That’s just like life,” Gyllenhall replied. “If you aren’t willing to make mistakes, you’re never going to get anywhere.”

  11. A site had the Sophia/Austin pictures taken in Manhattan from the front angle. Can't recall now which one, maybe Spooky's or ONTD. It was pretty clear there was no actual hand holding, maybe just a brush or a hand extended while navigating some obstacle.

Sorry about your loss PG. It's like losing a part of your youth too, not just your parents friends.

My husband is crazy about In-n-Out burgers too. Me, I can take them or leave them.

    ReplyDelete
  12. (((PG))), sorry about Mrs. Sheperd.

Don't think what Ted is saying has anything to do with Austin. He's talking about Jake now, not Toothy. After all, having just been a married man himself, I doubt Ted would say being settled down with one person is a boring thing.

This is all about Jake's movie choices, the bearding, losing his sex appeal because he's trying to make himself into something he is not.

    ReplyDelete
  13. DITTO everything Ted said times a thousand. I loved Jake so much - he was like a part of me for a while, and i know that's f'd up because i was so obsessed with BBM, etc, but he was just The Thing, The Bomb, The Most Awesome Dude Going, second to NONE!!!! and i still haven't found anyone who gets anywhere near his all around awesomeness, imo. i know there are lots of fans who are ga-ga over the Supernatural dudes (cute) and Kradam is righ popular, but those guys don't do anything for me. Jake is special in a one-in-a-million way, and i miss him so much. this new version is so lame and disappointing in comparison. s.

    Right.

^^^ No recruitment needed. If Jake is not by himself, he's photographed with what's her name. Been happening now for a long time. Longer than the speculated J/A relationship.

Almost most of Austin's photographed pictures are NOW with Sophia.

Take it, do what you may with it. Gay, straight or bi. It is what it is.

Jake and Austin met on the set of TDAT in, what, 2004? It's 2009. That's five years.

Reese's divorce was final in the fall of 2007, and Reeke began immediately. It's now 2009. That's three years.

I'm not a math person but...

And I must have forgotten that rule stating if one is photographed with another that automatically means you are dating.

  16. Thanks to all for your good thoughts. It really happened so fast. The Shepherds used to come over to the house and I can remember them and my folks just yakking it up on a Friday night while I was trying to go to sleep!! lol.
They're good people. I'll go to the visitation tomorrow night which will be kind of hard. I also imagine I may see other former teachers of mine. I can never call any of them by their first name. They will forever be Mr. or Mrs. whatever. Don't you find that so whenever you come across a former teacher?

I'm taping OTH; guess I should say, I taped OTH. DWTS must come first this season! Hey, they have a guest judge tonight - some guy named Baz Lurhrman or something like that. He directed Strictly Ballroom, Australia, and Moulin Rouge. Wow, what a portfolio.
I loved Strictly Ballroom. That guy Paul Mercurio was soooo cute and I don't know why his career never went anywhere. His accent was lovely.

Sienna, so Buckles doesn't do anything for ya? I'm telling you, check out vespyrlynd's (spelling I know is wrong!) website:

Actually TDAT started shooting in late 2002. So that's seven years.

So it's more than twice as long as the "relationship" between Reeke and more than seven times as long as the "relationship" between Austin and Sophia.

  18. Thank you, TAS and Stubborn.

Hey, you guys, I was out on the web this morning before officially "punching in", lol and I found a website that has an ongoing countdown until the National March in two weeks in D.C. I thought that was really cool. We're at 12 days, 15 hours and so many minutes. Here's the address:

    http://equalityacrossamerica.org/blog/?page_id=19

I was looking online because I was trying to see what kinds of activities they have planned. I guess the march isn't actually until that Sunday, which I think would be Oct 11. And I think that weekend is National Coming Out weekend?

I'm getting pretty excited about this. It's important to me to be able to do something to express how I feel so this should be pretty neat.

And I do anticipate seeing alot of eye candy that I can only look at and not even dream about partaking in, LOLLL!

OMG will be represented at the March. I'm excited about that, too. I wonder if anyone on WFT2 is going. I think I will go next door and ask.

  19. Okay, time to wind down. Everyone have a nice sleep and Lord willing, we will all do this again tomorrow.

  20. Oops, I had to get back on here for a second.
That website I mentioned above has a schedule of events. Special, that Camp Courage is going to be represented there.

Anyway, I was checking out the merchandise and hey, one can buy an official National Equality March Classic Thong for $12.99.

Just thought I would mention that in case anyone thought they'd be interested.

    ReplyDelete
  21. A thong? That cracks me up PG. It reminds me that I keep meaning to check out the activities for that weekend.

Have to agree with PG too that Buckles reminds me a bit of Jake.

And you know who kind of puts me in mind of Jake--Joseph Gordon Levitt in 500 Days of Summer. He's very sexy in it, and the way he half-smiles reminds me every so slightly of Jake. And he is so good in it too. It's the kind of movie I wish Jake was making. I'm not surprised Austin loved it so much.

  23. Interesting about Depp and Pirates and that he thought the second and third ones were bad (I thought the second one was unbearable, didn't bother with the third installment). The writer is crazy if he thinks any of the people he mentioned would want to replace him, especially Franco.

Off to watch the new video of Austin.

    ReplyDelete
  24. One thing about the new video of Austin that makes me sad. He speaks more in that, than he did in the entire episode of OTH tonight.

Hopefully that script he got will give him a more to do. Either that or Alex will.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Both Bruckheimer and Depp are balking at another Pirates because their favorite in the head office of Disney, can't for the life of me remember his name at the moment, was unceremoniously dumped by the CoE.

    Read about it on Yahoo.

All the upcoming movies listed that the exec greenlighted, and not one mention of PoP.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Austin looks good in that video. From recent interviews it sounds like he's enjoying being in Wilmington.

And yes, there was far too little of him in tonight's episode, but hopefully they're setting things up for a big episode. SMALL SPOILER: loved the way they found a way to bring him back in his black underwear again. And Brooke actually resisted that?

  27. I thought it would be interesting to look at Reese and Jake's Starmeter rankings on IMDB after Reese's little stunt last week.

"STARmeter rankings provide a snapshot of who's popular based on the searches of millions of IMDb users. Updated weekly, these rankings also graph the popularity of people over time and determine which events affect public awareness. "

The prior week Jake was ranked 173, and Reese was ranked 187.

After the engagement stories, Reese dropped to 222, and Jake is right behind her at 223. Sounds like the whole thing backfired on them.

    NPH is ranked number 12.

For movies and television, POP ranks 664. In contrast, another Disney movie, Alice in Wonderland, is at 72.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Wow, Ted was really out for blood today and the comments are all pretty severe. What is even sadder is that the write up about Jake earned about 40 comments, the one just below it about Pattinson got over 400.

I too am waiting to see if Jake returns when he starts to do Brothers interviews. That is if he does any. Near as I can tell the film has had virtually no publicity.

^^ Are You implying that Jake and Austin are still dating since 2004?? Well aparently he is wisked in and hidden from the paps to keep their little secrete love going. And, are you insinuating that he has been dealing with and excepting the Jake and Reese Whirlwind around the world, and with kids in tow. Well you have more staying power than most, and Austin has more staying power than you. Some can think of other names to call that type on insanity.

The photograph part you are prefering to seems to only be valid for you if Jake and Austin are photographed together. Then it means "Their Dating". Am I Right? Kind of Pick and Choosey of you huh? Whatever floats your boat. Love Jake and like Austin, but things have changed in their lives. Hellen Keller can see this. And you can't???

Interesting that she shows up the day her rep deny the engagement story after she left it to hang out there over the weekend. Gotta get that press somehow.
