New old things that pop up sometimes and call for a revisit case in point Jake in Moscow.
When you think all it was for was this:and
andand of course this:and dining and sad dancing
This video of Jake in Russia for PoP popped (and it might be again).
Not only did he hang with Homer
and kept a ring on it for the premierebut did anyone else notice he was flashing a serious chain during an interview that you couldn't miss if you tried.Huh...Maybe it was Austin's bike chain. ; )
Out of a list of 23 names, Jake is in the Top 5 at #4 while firmly holding onto the #1 spot in terms of having the most votes of anyone listed! And, the award goes to....

And how can I not resist saying something about the pic of Jake back in Sept 2007 with his Red Sox hat on?

It's a pretty gusty more to do in the heart of The Evil Empire (Yankees Territory)

ReplyDeleteI am done with the entire subject.
ReplyDeleteSurvivor, Congratulations on your remissions. If you want to talk about your experience and fight with cancer that's cool. It's your comments directed to PG that got it deleted.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Jake was out at a little Italian place last night.

Tomorrow starts a 5 wk (yes, WEEK) cleanse. @MMKeppler & I are getting plastered @ Little Doms (Jake Gyllenhaal is here) right now. So what!

Little Dom's
It would have been 9:11pm local time that got posted.
The guys who tweeted about Little Dom's last night live together and are gay. I'm sure they know the rules of "engagement" and would remain mum about who Jake was with last night. Nice place.
ReplyDeleteThat's one heavy duty gold chain on Jake in your post, Special. How many rings and amulets did he have on that one? Maybe just enough for children back home so they could have a souvenir of his visit to his homeland, at least on his mother's side.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen that chain either.
ReplyDeleteHe had a thinner chain on in earlier interviews during the press tour. Wonder why he wore this one in Russia.
So mysterious
ReplyDeleteNot so much mysterious as highly suggestive regarding changes in Jake's life since he decided that instead of coming out in 2006, he chose to go way back into the closet with the start of Reeke and raise a family.
ReplyDeleteWhat does the chain mean in terms of going back in the closet?
ReplyDeleteThe chain represents the feelings that Jake can't display publicly so he keeps what is most precious close to his heart at all times.
ReplyDeleteLook back on the cover of Men's Journal from April of this year.
ReplyDeleteYes Just a Thought.
ReplyDeleteI remember people saying when Jake was asked about love during the New Yorker Q&A he fingered his necklace.
He's also done it during an interview with GQ and yup M&M, he touched it for the cover.
It also is like how he sometimes touches his ring finger with his thumb, as a well to connect to something or someone.
Austin does it too. There are many pictures of him when he is out and gets photographed where he makes a point to touch his ring.
I'll never forget him touching his necklace when that interviewer guy mentioned "love", because why?
ReplyDeleteWe were there!!!! lol. We were there, we were there... And I saw it.

ReplyDeleteJake does look great in jewelry. I'm not normally a fan of a lot of jewelry on guys but Jake can pull it off. Kind of like the flip flops.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a blues music fan by any means but if I were to listen to it, I would listen to Etta James. She has a great voice. This song is just so agonizing, isn't it? LOL! Dang. It would throw you into a depression if you weren't in one already, that is for sure.
For some reason, I just could never get into this one brand of music. Still hurting from no Johann Strauss Jr. on New Year's Eve.
Doesn't anyone listen to or play Strauss anymore? The Blue Danube? Oh, The Emperor Waltz. The Vienna Waltz. And the Radetzky. What fantastic pieces. Just gorgeous, the last one more fun than gorgeous. I had forgotten how wonderful they were.
