Heaven, Can Wait?

Art of Elysium is having their annual Heaven gala next Saturday January 16th in Hollywood,and word is that Mr. Nichols is on one of their guest lists as attending. So someone else may be touching down in LAX by the next Austin Friday. The gala is creatively conceived by this year’s Art of Elysium visionary, Shepard Fairey. Fairey is primarily known for his iconic HOPE portrait for Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and street art movement, OBEY GIANT, he will creating his vision of Heaven on earth. Austin's former co-star, Kirsten Dunst will be receiving the Spirit of Elysium award in recognition of her endless dedication and support to The Art of Elysium. If you remember next week there are parties and events all week long leading up to the Golden Globe, as it is the kick of toward awards season.

Makes you wonder if one of the reason Jake had been booked for events in New York was to get out of going to parties with last year's party date. But now that things have changed he might have wanted to step out with or maybe its better said leave one with a favorite plus one?


I was introduced to a guy on sunday night. I've seen him before and sorta developed a little crush on him over the past few months, so this was technically more of a set-up, really. He was sweet, but shy, hardly making any eye contact and keeping his comments to a minimum. Also, he wasn't as receptive as i'd hoped he would be, and we never did exchange numbers before the night ended, despite trading looks and glances and smirks back and forth over the course of an evening. But, then again, i suppose it doesn't help when you're guest starring on one of the more popular television shows (SURFACE) right now and being interrogated by three drunk gay men at one of more photographed golden globes pre-parties in beverly hills. Still, watching him (AUSTIN NICHOLS) leave with another guy (Jake Gyllenhaal) was like dangling the proverbial carrot that I'll never get to eat. Damn actors. TLC CUBED, January 17, 2006"

The word on OTH fan forums is that Sophia is on one guest list attending, Austin is on another guest list saying he's attending the Heaven event. Sophin fans are all in a flutter over the possibilities of a walk in the clouds red carpet for the two.

But think Austin may take a page from Jake on the one. Cause you know, like he's said, "I've learned a ton from Jake. He's a really sharp guy. He told me everything about acting, the business, girls, life."

Could there be some heavenly lessons and devilish deeds mixed in there too. What do you think?

Subtle doesn't always translate giving the heads up to those who know the faux. Make it bold. Like Big Blue.



Big Blue says a lot of things, Sophinfaux for sure, but also that there is only one man, and all the other stuff is just crap, whoever the co-star is.

But you gotta remember what Lainey told Sophia so long ago about that ring .... wasn't something about glitter? ; )
