Movie theaters aren't the only theaters Jake's going to this stay in NYC. Last night a tweet had Jake taking in Relatively Speaking! at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
Relatively Speaking! is 3 One Act plays written by Ethan Cohen, Elaine May and Woody Allen, directed by John Turtoro.
Julie Kavner, Steve Guttenberg, Mark Linn-Baker, Marlo Thomas are part of the cast of 15 in a hilarious look at the often outrageous reality of relatives.
Each of the one-act play springs from a different branch of the family tree.
Coen's play, "Talking Cure", uncovers "the sort of insanity that can only come from family" that comes out from a session between doctor and patient.
May's "George is Dead" looks to be the best of the bunch showing the hilarity of death, and having That Girl! steal the show.
And then Woody Allen doing a classic Woody Allen take on a wedding, in Honeymoon Motel.

Also in the crowd last night was Jake's EoW co-star and fellow soul cycler America Ferrara, and Steve Martin.

What an interesting trio in "Relatively Speaking" and the video was just a hoot. A great cast who looked to be enjoying themselves in the best way. Many familiar faces, all folks who continue to work within theatre and thrive.
It really would be nice to see Jake take part in a Broadway production and loosen up a bit.
Love how Jake and Austin appear to find a way of touching each other in the things they do and say while away from each other.

You know, tweets like these two just sound fake. Who talks like that? Definitely? Startling? But pleasant at the same time?
If I have 140 characters to use in a tweet, I am not wasting most of my tweet on a phrase like "definitely kind of startling but pleasant at the same time" ???? What in the heck kind of tweet is that?
There's a distinct difference between the tweets of the people in Jake's Spin Cycle classes this past week and the people who supposedly saw him today.

What I find unbelievable about the brunch tweets today is that no one mentions where brunch took place. Not a one.

You know, I will stay by the guys in the end. I'll support them. But pg's support doesn't mean she'll allow herself to be roughshod over.

But when Austin Nichols chooses to go to haunted houses and dinner out with the Beard over seeing his kids?
I have a REAL issue with that. And I will not defend a deadbeat dad behavior.
Hey, if the guys want to act like they aren't married and parenting kids, I'll chuckle and shake my head up to a certain point as they make absolute fools of themselves. But my support will go on the back burner and I will let them dutifully have it when I see what Austin is doing, which is leaving Jake to handle all of the primary care while he gets his shriek on at haunted houses and tosses back chips and salsa.

Someone asked me why I don't ever say anything negative about the guys and at the time, I said well, there's no reason right now and I am a fan, after all, that's why I'm here.
Well, now there's a reason. And I am not a Stepford wife. Sometimes, hell does hath no fury.
Yes it is aggravating that's it could have been a day that Austin could have had up in NY, it makes me think that Austin was in NY at the beginning of the week, when less eyes are on him, and more people think he's tied up with OTH.
I looked at tweets and it looks like the cast and crew are all in Wilmy for the weekend.
It sounds like there was work late on Friday night and maybe today to make sure they wrap in the middle of November.
Tyler Hilton had to cancel his show in Charlotte, and apologize to his fans.
Tym, the head of make up and one of the craft services people were in Wilmy too this weekend, and hit the costume section of a store.
While Austin was seen with Sophia he was not alone with her, and was with several crew members and Rob Buckley for the scare.
After the comment that just got delete, and on my way to church, I am going to keep it on moderate for a little bit until I get back.

Okay, I gladly admit my own lack of further research before leaping. I was aware that they have been behind on their filming. But gee, I just wonder if part of the reason they are running behind schedule is because members of the cast have been treating OTH filming like a part time job this season? They're hanging out for 2 weeks at Fashion week, going to Nashville to film music videos, performing out of state with their bands at music clubs, going to spiritual retreats, doing everything BUT filming. Sorry, no sympathy for Austin or any other cast member for the late catch-up hours. Maybe if they had all kept their butts in town during the work week to get filming done in the first place, they would be running on schedule.
