It's all Fun and Games?

A picture of Jake in popped up today as he entered the Santa Monica hotel, Casa del Mar  Saturday the 9th.

Now some might say he popped into town for  the Grammy and get some Mumford.  (We do know he wasn't in the horn section.)

But why a hotel if lives in town?

Or maybe a little pre-Valentine break?

But it would be looking a bit sad if he's all alone.
Playing solitaire and Wii tennis.

Or is there a bit of the Game of Life

with a

Twist(er) going on.

Of course it could be just a lot of backgammon!

They might have to call Ray Donovan.

One ball, corner pocket.

Jake talked about handling swords, but who knew he was good at handling a stick.
Here's playing pool during this recent interview with Access Hollywood.

But he's not the only who sinks 'em. Austin's played pool on screen and talked about playing off.

"Because I'm a real billiards man, I might stop off at an actual billiards hall, but more likely I'd just go to one of my favorite dive bars, the Joker on Pico in Santa Monica. They've got about three pool tables, and it's the best place in the world." LA Times

With Austin such the billard's man do you think he's Fast Eddie Felson to Jake's Vincent?

But what is really interesting is Austin heading to The Joker, one of the last great dive bars in the city.

"More than a just place to relax, Joker is an escape from the rigmarole and anxiety of life. Situated on an inconspicuous corner of a suburban stretch of Pico, it stands secluded from the traditional westside nightlife that attracts d-bags and hipsters who conflate bar-going and clubbing. The people here are friendly and engaging but respectful of those needing merely a stiff drink and time alone at the end of the bar. "World Dive Bar Tour

"The Joker is not somewhere for young, single guys to hit on recent college graduates, even on the busiest of Friday nights. It's a place where you can imbibe like you're in a time warp, play pool, and order drinks without waiting behind a three-deep crush of agents, actors and lawyers." LA Weekly

No one's looking and no one's noticing in a place like The Joker. Sounds like the perfect place for a man of mystery.

As for stripes or solids? Well we know where Austin sides on that.
