Ring Round up

Jake got out of the ring

Source
and went ringside to take in the Redux Pacquiao vs Bradley fight on Saturday night.

It looks like Jake is over with Everest but not over his man bun.

On Sunday Jake jetted back to LA

But on a private plane ? Au contraire mon frere

While many celebrities and Vegas whales (big gamblers) traveled to Vegas in private jets, Jake joined the masses and boarded a Southwest Airlines. Bet he sprung to make sure he was in the A group.

Looks like he's home for the holidays.

Speaking of holidays wishing a very Happy Passover to all who celebrate.

And if you need to know where the Afikomen is just ask Jake.

Happy Passover!!

Hide and Seek

Jake's back hiding the Afikomen

Tonight was the first night of Passover and the first seder which is usually spent with family.  Subsequent seders during Passover are shared with friends and family.

And if Jake hid it again this year,  you wonder who was the lucky one who found it. Or maybe this year, Jake joined the group looking for the Afikomen and left the hiding to someone Tall.

Happy Pesach!

Lost and Found!

No April Fool's Austin shows up in his first pic of April courtesy of Austin's OTH co-star Daphne Zuniga.
Austin was out promoting CicLAvia, encouraging Los Angelenos to enjoy the city car free on Sunday.

Now where's that picture of that boat? : )

Here's another sneak peek about what Austin's been up to. This time behind the camera.

Can't wait to see what he's done. Can you?

And Jake? He might be lost in Iceland with Bear for a few days filming but he's got everyone on Shalom Sesame looking for afikomen right now.

Its Passover, Grover! will be on PBS during the month of April to celebrate Pesach. Check your local listings.

It's Passover, Grover! showcases the Passover story, holiday preparations, and Hebrew words and phrases related to Passover. In the episode, viewers meet families whose holiday traditions originate in Ethiopia and Morocco, providing a glimpse into the diversity of the Jewish people.

And finally, don't put a nail it yet we might get to see that the one movie of Jake's that's been sitting on the shelf.
The Nailed is taking another step, Film Music Reporter has learned that composer John Swihart has been hired to score the movie. There has been a test screening of the what they have, but no word if that last scene with Tracy Morgan and Jess Biel has been shot. David O. Russell has walked away from the movie and the directing credit. Jake has said in recent interviews that he follows his directors. The studio is currently shopping for a distribution deal and there is no release date yet.

Funny Jon Stewart who's got a little spot in Nailed never mentioned it when Jake was on TDS. One more piece of Nailed trivia, boxoffice leader HOP star James Marsden was another one of his co-star.

(Time) Travelin' man

Jake got to share a moment at Source Code's LA premiere after party with his dad.

Last night Jake touched down in NYC and it's mom's turn?

Unlike us, Jake doesn't bring the standard carry-on, he brings a bodyguard instead.

Grandpa Sweater - Official Sweater of Team Gyllenhaal

Before going forward to tonight on The Daily Show, let's go back in the way back machine.

Jake on his first visit to TDS and sitting on Jon's couch back in 2002.

Fast forward 5 years when Jake went to see Jon twice and brought his ball to throw in.

Tonight? Yes there were will be talk about Source Code, but Jon may surprise him with a curveball and ask,"So Jake... Where's the Afikomen?"

Where is it? I didn't know it was BYOA

Think think, Dagger of time? Source code it to go back?
Or say Frank took it?

"This? It's a Disco Dot Nintendo 3D: Diva-Nation,
didn't you get one? "

Spot of T's

Austin reminded us that today is Two Wheel Tuesday.

People all over the world are sending me messages about riding their bikes today. Everyone jump on this train. #twowheeltuesday

With Crazy Tree doing a Source Code (ie it's in repeats until April 19th) Austin has time to catch this train too:

And now that OTH is wrapping up the season, Austin can take time to learn something new too.

Think Austin will want to try his hand at using the candle, the feather, and the wooden spoon to search for the Chametz this year?

.......

We know it is Two Wheel Tuesday, but it can also be a Take Action Tuesday too.

The need is great in Japan, so many lost lives, even more are missing, and hundreds of thousands of people displaced. The nation of Japan is facing more challenges each day, with more aftershocks and now the potential of a nuclear meltdown, this is something no other country has faced. The need for food, shelter, water - the basics of everyday living is great. Many of us have friends, family or know someone with a connection to the crisis. Some are gathering supplies, food and clothing to be sent to Japan, other are raising money to pay for the supplies needed. We all can do our part in some way.

Please contact the Red Cross or the agency in your country who is helping in the aide effort. OR text - redcross - to 90999. And $10 will be charged to your cell phone bill.

Austin did.
I just texted REDCROSS to 90999. Let's all get together on this. Its not very much for one person, but if we all contribute--$$$$$$$ #japan

Two Servings of Jake

Grub Street San Francisco had a piece about the Le Grand Fooding NYC, as there is a little bit a competition between the east and wet coast culinary hubs. Grub Street put up a new pic of Jake at the event

and linked a video that was shot with not one but two glimpses of Jake in full fur.

Look quick at :43 and at 1:00 marks.

Missed him, well here's a few screen caps to make it easier.

This is a little closer than the picture Grub Street put up.

And hey who is the best person to hang with at a food event than your best bud who's a chef. (You get you own Top Chef judge experience right there with you)

Everyone seems to have a comment on Jake's look, but if you look around the event, it might be he's just trying to blend into the environment called hipster Brooklyn.
And speaking of food:

For those who remember last summer there was announcement that Jake was going to be on Shalom Sesame. And this past week Shalom Sesame's two newest volumes came out on DVD.

Jake joined others in introducing kids to Hebrew letters and words and Jewish values, mitzvot (good deeds), and holidays.

And looks like Jake is all about the matzo. Check it out:

It's not Le Grand Fooding, but an Everything Matzo with a little butter isn't too bad.

If you want to see a sneak peak of Shalom Sesame check out the trailer here on their website.
