With Destiny's suggestion that with all the Austin this month (think she was feverish) that maybe move the JFC discussion to February and with the enthusiastic response over a music discussion it looks like for January will do Move & Music this month.

OMG Movie Club will be Friday night January 23rd - Saturday January 24th

The question is - what movie? The Dying Gaul, with Peter, Campbell Scott and Patrica Clarkson, the "always the bridesmaid never the the bride" of OMG Movie Club(thanks again Dest) has been suggested and also The Good Girl, Jake's film with Jennifer Aniston.

Which one would like? Or are there any other suggestions?

To celebrate a fifth weekend in January OMG is getting down to discussing music. Friday night January 30 and Saturday January 31 will be all about music. Don't be shy come and join and talk about your favorites, what you are listening to now, songs you love way too much, your absolute worse songs ever, and those guilty pleasures that you would rather not admit liking so much.

OMG would like to extend our thoughts, prayers, support to Jersey Tom in the loss of his sister. May your best memories of her be your comfort. We here at OMG are there for you Tom. Sending out our biggest hugs and giving you a shoulder to lean on.

OMG Get-Together Update

Since I was asked not to post everyone's pictures on the main blog, here is a link to the pix. When I uploaded these, I unhappily discovered there are none of Tom. I realized that's because those are all in his camera! There are also no pictures of Spesh, because she is afraid the camera will steal her soul. The Red Sox really need Spesh to have a soul right now because they are in the World Series, and she just couldn't risk it. So you're stuck with Wicked, NETB, Destiny, and Destiny's Mrs. We're pretty cool, though.

Just a reminder of the purpose of this community for newcomers- we encourage people to have names here and not post anon. If you post anon we will accept it, but you will be STRONGLY encouraged to use a name. It makes people more accountable for their comments and allows people to get to know each other. You can change your name with every post if you want, but please use one.

An OMG Get-Together in Boston!!!

You're invited!

To join some fellow OMGers in Boston to see Rendition on its opening weekend. When? We are planning to go to an afternoon show on Sat., 10/20, place TBD as soon as we know where the movie will be playing. Why Boston? Spesh and NETB already live there, Tom is vacationing on the Cape that week, Destiny might also be in the area, and Wicked hasn't been to Boston in years! We'd love to see you there too. One drop at a time.

Brown eyes met blue, and in that one moment all things changed. Not just for Jake and Austin. But for others. Not just at that moment but even years to come.

How were they to know that meeting would create a ripple across life's surface that would be felt around the world. That it would change not just their own lives but others. That it would bring people together in so many different ways. They didn't. Life is about moments that define us, yet we are sometimes blissfully unaware how they reverberate into other's lives.

While they found love so many others found joy.

The joy of making new friends, and meeting new people that they would have never met. The joy of people coming together, making connections and changing the course of their own lives.

Yes, we are here to celebrate not just what Jake and Austin are and have together, but to also celebrate the effect that one moment in time has made on our lives as well.
