Jake might have been premiere Source Code but that doesn't mean that was the only Jake movie connection this weekend.
Pee Wee Herman(Paul Reubens) was speaking at a panel discussion on Saturday and the movie Nailed, in which he and Jake worked on came up.
Reported by IndieWire, he gave great praise to both Jake and Jessica for the leading roles in the film.
“I would go home every single night in awe of both leads in the movie, I just could not believe what they were doing. As an actor, what they’re doing is very, very complicated and complex. It’s really hard to pull off what they did. You have to be effortless, but it’s really hard to do,” Reubens said. “And I’ve never seen anybody be so successful with something that complicated [as Gyllenhaal was]. And Jessica Biel is literally—I hate this word, but I can’t think of another word to use—is like a revelation. She’s so incredibly good in the movie, and again, no one’s ever seen her do anything like this… This is like an ingenue. It’s almost like Dorothy in ‘The Wizard Of Oz.’”

Will Nailed ever be released? Herman said that he had heard that Russell is trying to get the film buried. The movie still without an ending scene has set on the shelf since 2008, due to lack of funding. Now that is been bought out by another production group, Russell has removed himself from the film entirely. The screening as far from the final version, and now that Russell has had recent success from The Fighter, he wants to forget the past.
“It’s a great film. I think there’s a great film waiting to come out there [but] I’ve heard from a lot of people recently, that what’s been screened recently is a compilation, it’s not really an edited version and David is taking his name off and has disassociated himself with the film. I heard a rumor last night that someone is actually trying to bury the film because he’s become so successful now,”
But that's far from what is happening with Source Code, which is getting good reviews and Jake getting much praise for his performance, and on is track for success at the box office.
Some movie trivia:
Source Code has something in common with TDAT besides filming in Montreal, producer Mark Gordon. Source Code was a project that had been in looking for a director and a go for two year.
"Mark Gordon was producing the film and he was developing it with Jordan Wynn. They sent the script to me and after the first ten pages I said “What…is…going…on?” It’s totally up my alley. I hadn’t explored a world like that in a while so it was like finding water in a desert. The story works in a way I love my mind to work.

There was no clear director on it, but it was an amazing script. It really depended on who took the helm. And access to balcony is by separate staircases located at the sides of the lobby in not in the theater where everyone else is trying to get to a seat.
Just something to think about.

The tweet PG found was a rumor and false. There is a brief video of Jake arriving and sitting in the 9th row.
If fans were turned away it was because it was sold out.

Looking at the pictures of Jake, there was something special about the weekend for him. And nothing can make him grin like that except his man.
Yes there was something special about him - he got to hang out with his best friend. Also, several tweets from the night of the premiere had them sitting in the balcony. You can probably still find them. Further, his Friday shirt and Saturday shirt are two different shirts.
By "them" I mean the actual twitterers were sitting in the balcony. There are more than a few twitpics folks took from the balcony of the post-film q&a.

You seems to ignore the rest of the post: news about Nailed, that Jake has been attached with Source Code long before any of us knew. It says there are things that Jake is able to keep confidential, and of course fashion tips of dress code.
Of course the part the infuriates some the most, is the mere idea that Austin would be there in his own hometown and with Jake even if only for a few days.
I think you're mixing up "infuriates" with pointing out a few truths. You can't keep using the tired and usually incorrect line that if nobody saw Austin in Austin then he must have been there. I mean, do you really and truly in your heart of hearts believe that? That he was there this weekend but hidden under wraps?

He may have started the viewing experience in the 9th row and easily moved onto the balcony after the lights went off in the theatre. The theory is intriguing, based on that tweet. The video showing Jake in the audience was brief as the troll said himself. Who knows how long he stayed there. I doubt he stayed for the entire film. And just because others were in the balcony does not mean Austin was not there as well. They both navigate unseen when they want to. It would not surprise me if they get some assistance with make up and hair to help disguise themselves and avoid being recognized.
WDW has a clip of the first 5 minutes of SC. I watched it. It's hard for me to be objective. I was not sucked in like I expected. Looking at Boxofficemojo, not much else is opening that weekend, so not much competition. If people go to the movies that weekend, it will be the movie to see unless you are into family films (HOP) or horror films. That should get it good box office for that first week at least which Jake really needs.

please learn to read. There is no "theory" - the false rumor that prairigirl "found" and (got a gold a star for!) was that Jake wanted the ENTIRE balcony for himself and people were turned away and couldn't sit there. NOT TRUE. Why can't you just admit you're wrong instead of trying to twist stuff around to make it fit your "theory"? First off, how do YOU know the rumor is not true? Why don't you just admit you're wrong instead of posting pics that prove nothing. Even if Jake didn't reserve the entire balcony, he may very well have reserved a large portion of it. The question is why did Jake pretend to sit in the 9th row and then retire to the balcony?
And, even though theories about BTs always seem to make you crazy (oops, I meant to say crazier than you already are), I think the concept explains a lot of odd behavior and actions over these past years. The way the story evolved from practically a physical assault to Jake good naturedly discounting the confrontation as just a fan’s overanxious encounter on Saturday is curious on several levels. Including Jake’s satisfaction with just having the guy delete the photo. Anyone with even a brief acquaintance with digital cameras knows there are ways to retrieve that photo from the memory card. And, media savvy Jake would know that too. All the guy has to do is not take any more pictures.
