 Back to the Ocean(a)

As if we needed to be reminded how much Austin loves the Ocean.

 “Ever since I can remember I’ve always wanted to be in the water,” Austin shared during the event. “I grew up waterskiing all over the country, and then I moved to California and started surfing. Now my obsession is free diving and that’s brought me face to face with all the beautiful things the ocean has to offer.”


Austin and Miranda Cosgrove hosted the Oceana party last week at the The Marion Davies Guest House, a white 1920s Georgian formerly built for William Randolph Hearst’s mistress/silent film star Marion Davies.

 Joining supporters of Oceana includedTed Danson, Drake Bell (of Nickelodeon's Drake and Josh, who performed), Jenna Ushkowitz, Angela Kinsey, Sam Trammell , and the FauxChlo. Connor Cruise (yup you know that last name) dj'd a set.

And what's a host without fun facts.

"You’re more likely to get struck by lightning than be attacked by a shark,”

 “You’re more likely to be killed by a jellyfish. My favorite is, you’re more likely to be killed by a vending machine than killed by a shark!”

Once everyone got a chance to mingle, give, and filled up on finger foods and fun facts they  got  beach totes and towels and were asked not to crash the neighboring wedding.

But before they left The Bumbys, masked performance artists who tap out fashion-centric notes on typewriters, offered guests “A Fair and Honest Appraisal of Your Appearance.”

Jake made some news over the weekend and Monday in the long and short of it.

Jake's one of the many Hollywood stars who appear in Jay-Z and Beyonce's trailer not for a movie but for their Run Tour.

Sunday Jake turned up all cleaned up taking in  the Broadway hit Newsies on with Ramona and took pictures backstage.

And while they say lights are bright on Broadway

And while Austin futzed with faux lights Jake went back to Bloomies for some shopping (wonder if it was an undies run again) complete with his blue green cosmo combo, beanie and backpack.

Yup there's Austin  (and FauxChlo) - so if you don't want to see it - look away now, but really it's like  a school trip and they were the last to on the list and got paired up)

So from that perspective look at it as a giant field trip

Day 1

When the hoods up it's the sign for no more chatting.  This is going to be a long trip.   Maybe I could get another plane.

Who's got the best set of curves? Me!  Yes Shakira, Shakira .  Theses hips don't lie.

This is going to be a long trip.  Maybe a hipcheck and I can bump her into another travel group.

Day 2
Is she really singing about dumplings?  I'll just ignore her and maybe she'll stop.

This is going to be a long trip.  Maybe I can get on the other bus.

Day 3
Look who got the sassy pink candle - Me!

 While I'm  all cute and coy.   She's being that loud girl no one wants to sits next to on the tour bus.   Still looking to switch to the B bus.

Day 4
This is when a five-head comes in handy you can squeeze everyone else out of the picture.

Day 5 (well it seems like 5 or maybe Day 45)
No you're not even close being Toothy.

And no I'm not tell you that you have seaweed and sesame seeds between your teeth.


 It's not just these pants that are uncomfortable and ill fitting.

The picture trip chaperones made us take for the safety sheets.

 Eww girl cooties!  I hear there's a seat on the other bus if I am willing to sit next to the onboard bathroom and with no leg room.

Onward to the other bus!  YES!

 

While we can make fun and say it's a school field trip, it seriously looks more like a promotional trip for FauxChlo. 

Really, who's traveling with them taking these pictures?  And who's releasing them?  Because only 2 of the pack were on FauxChlo's instagram. 

Ahhh yes - that would be the publicist's job.
