Fashion Derby

Austin might not have made it to Derby Day, but could have fooled some people with Tom Brady.

And it isn't the first time someone saw the resemblance.

"we do remember meeting Nichols at the premiere of his most recent flick, "Glory Road." We stopped to talk to him because he was so tall and handsome, and for no other reason. He admitted to us that he was the only person in the movie who wasn't good at basketball.

"I lied and told them I was a basketball player," he giggled, as we swooned. "I am a terrible basketball player."

We then told him that if they ever made a movie about Tom Brady, he should play him in the lead role. This comment thereby exhausted all of our sports knowledge.

We eavesdropped as he chatted with someone else nearby, who asked him what his favorite recent movie was.

"Brokeback Mountain," he grinned. We gripped a nearby publicist for support. "I can’t think of any other love story that got me so..." and then he trailed off." Source

We always knew Austin was "fashion forward", but is he so ahead that him years ago is he the fashion inspiration for Tommy now?
Last night at The Met Ball Tom's hair looked a lot like Austin's 'do in Italian Vogue.

And then some fashion in black & white.

And how about a tall one this Two Wheel Tuesday?

Mr. Brady

While Austin was tweeting

Please watch Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice. Excellent film by Paul Mazursky. "That's beautiful."

OMG's talking about Mike & Carol & Kids & Alice.

Who hasn't watched the Brady Bunch, we all have Austin included. The child of pop culture he knows the stories and could do all them. So for that we give this tribute the creator of the Brady Bunch, Sherwood Schwartz.

Austin as the man named Brady

Mike Brady: Who else could do slacks but a guy who still uses the word slacks. From the plastered straight to funkalicious fro he can do the whole evolution of Mr. Brady hair. Think he’s got the fatherly advice part down too.

Carol Brady: All-American mom, she was sexy for a 70’s mom. That bit of naughty innuendo to her pillow talk with Mr. Brady. Austin could totally rock the shag flip and the pantsuit. And the Wesson-ality? Please…

Greg: Who since Greg Brady could pull off the flowered shirt, striped trousers with a fringe vest and head band combo. And Johnny Bravo—too.

Marcia : She knows she’s got it . She’s was the golden one.

And taking a ball in the face and still looking good to go dance.

Peter: Singing about the environment and a time to change. And dining commentary about pork chops and applesauce to the cook until he’s driving them crazy.

Jan: Jan’s invisibility should be no problem to do. And George Glass? When has Austin ever made up a story about who he’s going out with? ; )

Bobby: Striped shirts, big jewelry, easy for the A-man. You know he had Bobby Brady high waters with those long legs too. Can’t you see him doing a Bobby putting beans in the flashlight on a camping trip?

Cindy: Tongue twisters and boys. Nuff said.

Alice: Quips that cracking themselves up but maybe not everyone else. Bowling. And a longtime relationship with Sam the meat man, that had everyone wondering what was their relationship.

Oliver: The new blood that was brought in to boost the show in the last season or two. Hmmmm who does that sound like.
