Ice Ice Baby

Who doesn't have a list of errands on the weekends?

... yup even Jake and Austin.

Saturday someone on fb saw Jake buying 9 bags of ice.

That's not an ice run that's more of a bar rescue,  but whatever it is, it deserves a Top Ten List  or maybe that should be a Top Nine List

The Top Nine Reason Jake was buying 9 bags of ice

9. Setting up his own Dateline gotcha for an illegal LA kidney harvesting ring.

8. It was their turn to take care of the class penguins for the weekend.

7.  Austin said he wanted it on the rocks. Jake didn't realize he meant it was just his drink.

6. He's started his prep work for Everest. Next stop Don't Break the Ice.

5. He's not only the Producer on Nightcrawler he's also Craft Services.

4. Those Snoopy Snowcone Makers don't fill themselves.

 3.  After a late Friday night Taco Night Jake was going through to make Austin's drunken dream of World Largest Homemade Margarita come true.

2. He took "hold the ice" to a whole new meaning.

And it's not just Jake doing the running around.

Picking up some lunch there buddy?

You know Jake said he auditioned for  "Dude Where's My Car?"

School Daze

It's Back to School time in LA this week and Jake's already to go.

Check him out hitting the books.

Is that a Trapper Keeper? And look he's got his lunch money in his pocket.

 Or maybe it's a parent teacher conference. ; )

No, it's actually out with the director of his next movie, Dan Gilroy.  And in his hot hands, the script for Nightcrawler.  And just like school, Jake will have lots of work to take home and lots of notes to take.

But that's not the only thing that happened  to Jake. Nope.  He also got a ticket.  And not for a Go Fish! kind of  thing, but for parking.

 That's it right?  Did you see who did it?  Was it a guy name Johnny Law? Did he have a confiscated slightly too short fish with him?


And what would Back to School be without a Pop Quiz?

So why would there be so many pictures of Jake going to the Dr. yesterday (Tues. the 13th) and so few when he went to the Dr. the day before that (Mon. the 12th)?

 And why was Jake a Chatty Cathy on Tues but not during his first Dr's visit this week.  Think some had a case of the Mondays?

Could muted plaid be the new camo for undercover maneuvers?

And why would Jake need to go the Dr's office twice in two days?

Whale of a Tale

Jake's been know to throw out a few Red Herrings over the years. But he might have been caught by the Net. this time 

Maybe he just wanted to celebrate Shark Week with his favorite Shark Week Fan at home?  Whatever the ever the reason, it looks like a fish taco in LA might have been what snagged him up. 

Suddenly after just being "seen" in NYC the day before.  Jake popped up and got "caught" strolling through LAX  yesterday and by nightfall was seen at the Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros' show. 

And then  today was seen out and about shopping and driving the truckster around,  and almost ran into former whisker, Reese who was probably circling the same paps for them to catch her fresh new do. 

Maybe he thought well if I got found in LA,  I'm going to get seen in LA.  All over LA. 

And it looks like Jake had a case of the hungries while he was doing it.

 Food.  It feels like I haven't eaten in two months that's for sure. 

 Organic apple sauce or a healthy carob soy pudding snack pack?

 Jake looks like he's trying to eat all the good stuff before he goes home and has to share his snacks with Big and little alike.

 Granola Time?

 Some more for the road:

 Guess he's stocking up for when he has to journey east again.

 The family truckster can handle hauling from  little to big - cargo of course. ; )

A little rewind back to earlier in the week when Jake was seen leaving Chateau Marmont

What do you notice?

Well he still has the family truckster.   Which tends lean to the argument that he bought the truckster not leased it.

So what are the odds that he bought the silver one too?   Pretty damn good.

Now why would swinging bachelor need two family wagons?  Antiquing?  Flea Markets?  Bringing the farm fresh goodness to market?

You'd think if really did up and move to NY for good, he would have sold them and just rented something for the few times he's back in LA.

And who has been driving the car? Because while cars sitting in the garage and not turned on and run can be tough on the engine, it doesn't hurt the tires.  In fact that would keep the tires longer.

When (Stuffed ) Animals Attack

A little story is not going to stop Jake. He showed off with a roar. Looking hot in a black t-shirt and sunglasses clean shaven and sporting a new haircut.

It was reported he was at the Dr.'s office, but it looks like he stopped at the bank too, from the marble facade behind him. And the black family truckster is back. Guess the grey (goose) one is still at home in the garage.
