Somewhere ...
Not sure I think they might be them.
And you were there as this lady named BrookeDavis(TM) and you wore these sparkly shoes until some little girl with a dog took 'em. And you took my favorite pair, and not shoes, and made me the equivalent of your flying monkey.
You were there and you too, and too. And there was a scarecrow who told me how to go to where they all went and I would find them.

Happy Birthday PG!
Hey, PG. Have a wonderful birthday.
Btw: That was a great find on that subconscious "tell" of Jake playing with his ring finger on KImmel. He most definitely is. You also caught him playing with that gold chain when he's talking about love at the New Yorker Festival with Denby. I have little doubt that's where his ring resides whenever he's in public. Close to his heart...just like Austin.
Thanks, Special! Thanks, M&M! Another notch on the ol' birthday paddle and the good Lord has seen fit to allow me to see another.
It's been a great day already although I'm about to get my Kansas taxes done. Can't seem to get too excited about that. And I do believe the Titanic sank either on the 14th or today or something like that.
The only kind of bummer is that I can't have a cheeseburger today. :( It's going to need to be fish. Ah well, that's the way it goes.
Happy Birthday PG. I forgot our dates were so close together. Have a great day today.
m!!!! Thanks! Yes, we are both right there on the ol' calendar. And so is Austin. April is ripe with trouble and orneriness (sp?). LOL!!

Thanks for the Bobby Sherman, Special!! Love Bobby Sherman - this is awesome. Think I'll play it again. Sorry M&M! LOL - (I'm sure this one might be crankin' her style). LOLLLL!!
Happy Happy Birthday PG.
I have no idea whether the blind item about marriage is Jake, but I'm pretty sure the one about coming out is Jake. I don't think someone who says things like all men need to find a woman, and who hides their own child away in the closet and doesn't acknowledge or go out with their own child would be moved by someone who is a stranger to him.
Think I'll play it again. Sorry M&M! LOL - (I'm sure this one might be crankin' her style). LOLLLL!!
What? I can't hear you, PG. These bubblegum blocking ear plugs are amazingly effective. LOL!
Seriously though, if this music makes you happy, then I can dig it too. How's that for some seventies slang?!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PG !
Have a great day around home and here with your buddies at OMG.
Special... I hope Austin wakes up from his dreamscene with a his fuzzy pair where they rightfully should be.
Ahem!
Someone met Jake on the plane heading home to LA from NYC and got an autograph too.

Thanks, Dest and Seaweed for your greetings! It's a bit of a chilly one today but who notices the brr factor when you have Bobby Sherman, I ask?

Just A Drop works "to reduce child mortality caused by unsafe drinking water."
"In our 11 years to date we have undertaken over 65 water aid projects and helped over 1 million children and their families in 29 countries. From humble beginnings our first project was in partnership with the British Red Cross in North Gondar, Ethiopia."
I just came back from seeing Source Code today and will state, without qualification, that Duncan and Jake have created a magnificently entertaining and smart film experience. The story is fast-paced without being frenetic or frantic. While the existential and classical themes about death, inevitability, free will, and the power of one human being to change/impact the course of other’s lives is expertly unfolded, without being elusive or pretentious. In fact, the heroic climaxes are consistently moderated with the frailties and ethical dilemmas that are always lurking in the background and which we see take root by the end of the film. Questions are posed not just about the applications of science for the so-called greater good, but the limitations of man’s egoistic desires and self-seeking ways. Jake is note perfect in his role as Colter Stevens. He is flawlessly compelling, robust, and charmingly droll, without lacking compassion.
I think the highest compliment that can be paid about this movie, and Jake’s performance specifically, is that I guessed who the bomber was in the beginning sequence, but this in no way detracted from the subsequent viewing experience. Mostly, I suspect, because this film has so many layers that the whodunnit, ritualistic aspects of the plot are almost incidental. As Colter says at one point toward the end of the story, sometimes it takes awhile to be able to know what you want to say. And let me tell you, it was wonderful to hear Jake’s unique voice again. A cadence that is strong and joyously vibrant, with a renewed since of confidence and purpose. Welcome back, Jake. I missed you.
That's great about Austin!
Nice post today with the Kansas theme. It sounds very festive around here today! :)
Happy birthday wishes to PG, and a belated happy birthday wish to M!
Glad you liked SC M&M - I loved the way the eight minutes repeated, something different every time, or a different view of it.
Happy Birthday PG. Love you Buddy.
M&M you could write movie reviews for a living. Great job. I guessed the bomber too, wont say why for those that may not have seen it yet, but I thought it was a pretty obvious clue. I expected it to be a Hitchcockian device meant to draw viewers in but ultimately not real, but this one turned out to be a real clue. Took today off and chores are now done. Time for some fun and dinner out. I wonder if the boys are holed up somewhere after being apart for a while.

Now who likes short shorts?
Ohh that's right Austin likes short shorts. ; )
Thanks again for the birthday wishes, everyone. It was a great day, just one of the best ever. My brother & his family sent one of those Edible Arrangements - you know, it looks like a flower arrangement but it's really fruit? Flowers carved out of pineapples with cantelope melonball in the center and chocolate covered strawberries & Granny Smiths, and this year peanut butter/chocolate covered banana slices, red grapes and plain big ol' strawberries.
Those things are cool.

If only I understand 1/4 of that though, m. lol
**sucks thumb** - Help!!
Aw, I'll just take her word for it - good enough for me. lol

LOL! Okay, here's an abridged movie review just for you, PG:
Terrific entertainment. Flawed, but expertly crafted with an outstanding performance by Jake Gyllenhaal. Go see Source Code. You won't be disappointed.
Well, that's better, thanks M&M! Man, I about busted a brain vessel last night.
Okay, I just posted this next door. I didn't believe that marriage BV either as soon as I read it for other reasons. But here's the chief reason for not taking it seriously anyway.
It came from Star Magazine. Enough said.
One thing to note. You never see Jake in short shorts.

Everything that goes around, comes around, buddy. In fact, vinyl has made a comeback and is now stocked at Best Buy. Worth more than ever.
Ah, the unappreciation and naivete of the somewhat young. They just don't know what's comin' around the corner, do they? lol
This is kinda funny.
In February when the family was together for my neph's birthday, my brother had tweaked his bad back, my sister had her sore knee that we don't know what the deal is, probably arthritis. And my foot was still in the brace. And we had been yakking in the living room, probably for too long a period of time because when we all got up, all 3 of us were stretching, making noises and limping, whatnot. lol. And so of course I had to make a crack about it, do all kinds of mimic'ing and imitating about the moans & groans, bending & stretching. And we all busted a gut laughing about it after my brother pointed at Mom and said that here Mom was at her "mom age" and she was in the best shape of all of us kids.
LOLLLLLL!!! One of those ironic life moments.
I don't believe that Jake is the guy is is ready to come out because of the kid's letter. Jake in the pass has said that he doesn't read fan mail. wish it were true but don't think so. No leading man is ready to come out.
^that is ready
