Jake was named to GQ's The 25 Most Stylish Law-Breakers in Movie History for Jack Twist.
Now why Jack is why a law-breaker? Well GQ put it this way:
It's Montana in 1963. Shacking up with another cowboy won't be legal for another 34 years. It takes guts, to say the least. In shearling jackets, properly-matched denim, and, of course, a Western hat, Jack Twist dresses the part of a rugged fella willing to break all sorts of social and literal laws. The real style is in the way Twist pulls his clothes on though—consciously. Even self-consciously. His insecurities come out in the way he bundles his hands in pockets and lowers his hat's brim. Ohhhh, swoon. This is one of my favorite Jack Twist pics. GQ got it so right - there were so many details about their clothing and hats in Brokeback, and small gestures, that said so much, communicating without saying a word. Of course, I've watched Brokeback countless times now, so I must know every little detail by heart. The way he looks up from under his cowboy hat, nothing sexier. No wonder Ennis couldn't resist. :)

Destiny, I don't normally go to her Twitter anymore. Her twitter is one big ol' Nag Powerpoint Presentation. I can't take it. But I did check it out yesterday and today. We're under 24 hours now and the best she can do is nag about styrofoam containers.
Here's a fact: Don't go to her Twitter if you need cheering up or want to feel good.
Conserving, banning, eliminating, boycotting - yeah, it is "great" if you can do it. How about just cutting back?

Every time you're jumping up & down about going on about banning and eliminating, you're cutting into somebody's production line job and paycheck. Something from the Red Sox about anti-bullying and inclusion.
The Red Sox organization takes the issue of bullying seriously. It is something that has touched many of us and those we love, and it is a growing problem in our community. We are proud of dedicated Red Sox fans like 12-year-old Sam Maden who have taken the courageous step of publicly standing up against bullying of LGBT youth.
The Red Sox have frequently done PSA videos, or public service announcement videos, on important social issues. We are currently producing an “It Gets Better” video to support the It Gets Better campaign to stop bullying of LGBT youth and teen suicides.

That's great about the Sox, I'd read there was a campaign to get them to do a video for It Gets Better after the Giants did one.

And the crutches thing, we know that Jake was in NYC in 2006 late summer with a guy on crutches, and that he and Austin were also seen that Aug at a concert in LA and Austin was on crutches. And they were also out shopping for DVD that month with Austin on crutches.
We did find out in 2007 that Austin was on crutches when he finally revealed he broke his ankle the summer of 2006 skateboard, and was trying to keep the producers and Milch from knowing he broke it.
So in fact he did do crutches before Jake's "basketball" accident that had him hobbling on them 2008.

Mob Getting Footloose at Jefferson Memorial
Last week, five men got cuffed at the Jefferson Memorial for doing a silent dance at the Jefferson Memorial.
The men said they were exercising their rights as citizens to free speech. The Park Police said they were breaking a law recently reaffirmed in court.
This weekend, the dancers are back. And they've brought a posse.
The five original arrestees, whose dance moves earned them arrests and a few body checks, have put out a national call for dancers to come to a "Party at TJ's." Backed by civil liberty group CODEPINK, they've worked to get the word out for more people to join in another session of expressive dancing.
NBC Washington's Tom Sherwood said protesters have been arriving at the Memorial from across the country. One person told NBC he had traveled all the way from California to attend the event.

Movies are now $13 a pop here, so I don't go to as many in the theaters as I used to, especially films that I know it won't matter to see on the small screen, like Beautiful Boy. Some theaters you can go for $6 before noon, but none of the art houses offer that option.
Soapy is such a famewhore I can see her elbowing her way to the front of the line tomorrow and geting a twitpic standing beside the Grand Marshal. Then for a rousing encore, she'll wear four inch heels while performing a wheelie off a compost pile.

Boy, Orlando Bloom's little baby boy Flynn sure is cute. He looks just like his daddy. He's at that little cuddly stage where they are so much fun to hold.
Poor little baby, though. You just don't see the 3 of them all together very much. And when Orlando & Miranda are together, they have about a yardstick's width between them.
At least the BTs have two real parents, although neither of BTs' parents will be seen together.
Come to think of it, not sure how much better that is than Orlando's situation. HW is just screwed up, you know that?

Wow is right. Bradley can barely restrain himself. That hug was more that just two buddies saying hello. Liam looks pretty sexy there. Must say I had not given Bradley much thought before but between the French interview and that clip, I will be paying more attention to him in future. Of course we just watched Liam with Peter in the Kinney film the other day.
I watched Blue Valentine this evening. Good acting, but painful to watch and not a feel good movie at all. Ryan's performance was damn good but I'm glad I waited for netflix to see it. Too much of a downer for my taste.
I should've put an hourglass on that hug of Bradley's, m. LOL! Dang. That hug went on forever, didn't it?
There was another video link on that DL thread from YouTube of what I think was the premiere of A-Team and Liam's arm sure went around Bradley's shoulders with some familiarity. Very nice.

It's so funny how Bradley seems so hot in that interview speaking french, I've seen lots of discussion about that on Towleroad and DL. Never thought that of him. I've liked him in smaller supporting roles in comedies, but just can't quite think of him as a leading man, and yet his career is on fire because he seems to bring them in.
There's been chatter that Liam Neeson took to hooking up with young rentboy types after his wife died, and now the gossip about Bradley. His marriage seemed genuine, so maybe he is bi????

That French interview did it for me too - I haven't seen Bradley in much, I don't think. He's very good looking, but this sets him above and beyond. :) It's that he's so fluent and has such command of the language in that interview. I'd like to see him in a serious film, for sure. He has eyes that remind me of a fox too.
^^I have always, always loved Liam too. I wonder if he will be in TDKR as Ra's al Ghul again? I like when there's continuity, makes it more real, and Nolan's Batman films have a realism to them anyway. There will never be another Batman like his.
I didn't know Liam was in The Dark Knight - I don't remember. LOL - all I remember is Heath practically. Fancy that. I'll have to take another look. I liked Liam in Love Actually and come to think of it, I saw him in that film with Jodie Foster and Natasha Richardson, although I don't remember much about that film; see, I can't even remember the name of it now.
I haven't always been a huge fan of Bradley's but once in awhile. I did like him in Hangover but that's all I've seen him in, frankly. But wow, that interview. LOL - I think that interview did it for a lot of people!
And now having watched two vids of him & Liam - pretty hot. And intriguing.
He seemed like a natural to me speaking French. If I was just seeing that for the first time, I would have thought he was a native. I liked his hair and he wasn't saturated in beard.

I don't always like romcoms, so many of them are bad, but one I find really funny is Failure to Launch, with McBongo, SJP, and in a small but very funny role, Bradley Cooper. Kathy Bates and Terry Bradshaw are also good in it.

Liam Neeson was in Batman Begins, they say he isn't going to be in TDKR but we can hope! I loved him in Schindlers List among other films, and there was not a dry eye in the house after that film. :(
Wow Bradley was very yummy in that video. I love when masculine men are not afraid of expressing effection for each other physically whether Str8 or gay.
