Well he's got practice for when he answers the door in a few years.  He's totally the kind who will love to scare off their dates, by letting them think he's the Bad Ass Dad from Texas.

On the Green

Today was all about the wearing of the green, and for Jake that's not a problem since he is the New Mr. Green Jeans with those favorite cargos.

Speak of Jake it looks like Everest has moved on from Italy and off to England to Pinewood Studios.

This is the only kind of snow most want to see at this point of the year.

Jake won't have to worry about any real snow for a while, especially later this week when he is scheduled to appear in Spain to promote Enemy.  

While Jake was wearing the green most of this past year, Austin was getting some Irish eyes a smilin' on three of his project this year.

From Parkland about the assassination of John F Kennedy of one of the most famous Irish-Americans ever to being a part of the Donovan crew who's fixer is another Irish-American by way of Boston too,  to playing Tommy Donnelly in the movie San Patricios.

And while it is the custom to wear green,

Austy you make an great case to be in the pink.

Fifty years ago the world was forever changed.  For those who remember where they were when it happened and for those who came after, all  have experience a world that lost a piece of its innocence.

Austin has always been an admirer of JFK.  Way before he was committed to Parkland  he took a moment at the White House to pay homage.

And later when he became a part of  Parkland his pride of being a part of the film about that day in Dallas was obvious.

Several day ago Austin tweeted this quote

"Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth." -JFK

Austin be that non conformist you want to be and break out.

Secret Agent Service Man

Parkland opens tomorrow in the US, and to celebrate how about a peek at that Tall Texan in action.

 Oh yeah.....

Looking every bit the upstanding Secret Service agent on duty.

But then again Austin works in every decade.

Austin talks about what he could be when he grows up courtesy of MIT

Earlier this evening Jake was seen outside the Ed Sullivan theater heading in to tape The Late Show with David Letterman.  Dave is celebrating 20 yrs at CBS and Jake has been stopping by and chatting with Dave since 2007.

And Jake came back today all trim and tailored, long and lean and ready to go. With a just  little touch of gray around the edges.

Guess you can say that clothes make the man.

This is a more causal Jake last week in NY.

Example of what difference cut and fit makes.

Jake's looks like he ready to come aboard in those boat shoes.  Maybe not  Hello Sailor!  But Family Fun Time on the Island.

And missing those baby blues?  Jake did flash them as he was leaving Dave.
