While Austin was either quizzing state capitals or is  still trying to equate the name  Austin with boobs while playing catch me if you can but actually in LA.

Working (with) Bridges

The Tracking Board is saying...

"A little bird told me there are offers out to Jake Gyllenhaal and Jeff Bridges to star in COMANCHERIA. The action/thriller is about two brothers who try to save their family’s farm by planning a number of bank heists, all while outsmarting a pair of determined Texas Rangers.

Gyllenhaal would play one of the brothers, a divorced father of two who is presumably talked into this life of crime by his ex-con brother, while Bridges will hopefully be putting on a badge as a Texas Ranger who is just a few short weeks away from retirement."

The Tracking Board had the exclusively that World War Z director Marc Forster has been attached from the project.

It is a long way off from getting filmed, and will have to see how this goes.

We know that Jake and Austin have shared clothes, hats, cars, co-stars, friends, (the list goes on) before but doesn't this seem like they are sharing similar movies?

San Patricios is a story about two Texas brothers and has Beau Bridges in the cast. And Comancheria is a story about two Texas brothers with Jeff Bridges rumored to cast.

They should just do a mash up and throw in some Sharknado craze into it, starring Jake & Austin as Texans who meet up with the Bridges brothers who are on a Seahunt for a Tiburón-ado  to rise out of the Gulf.

We know Austin loves shark week!

Maybe just throw a little pink in for color.

Double Feature

Prisoners is sneaking a peek, and Austin's getting deep.

There was a sneak peek of Jake and Hugh today and a little more about the Prisoner storyline.

Detective Loki and Jackman's Keller Dover are working on different levels in Prisoners. "This is instinct meeting institution, and neither of us looks very happy. But there are similarities between the two of them, which is why they butt heads."

A scene in which Jackman confronts [Jake] in his car, about keeping a suspect in custody, also marks a key point in the unfolding drama.

"They have a chance to work together, but at this moment, my character goes off on his own," says Jackman. "This is where there is a parting of the ways. And it's the beginning of some pretty hairy stuff."

 Torture to be exact. Jackman kidnaps the man he believes committed the crime (played by Paul Dano in full creepy mode). It's a desperate, criminal effort to extract vital information about the disappearance of his daughter and another missing girl.

Jake goes on to say "The movie doesn't condone violence, but at that same time it's so relatable to need to solve the situation yourself as a parent, taking things into your own hands."

Everyone is considered a suspect, including Detective Loki (Jake) who is obsessed with the criminal mind.  Maria Bello plays Hugh's wife and  Terrence Howard and Viola Davis plays the parents of the other missing girl.

But it also looks likes from Liev's twitpic today that Austin's might be a part of the last episode  of Ray Donovan's first season that they started shooting this week.

Since it is SXSW,  how about a little Texas flashback for Jake.

A little SXSW, and a little bit more.  But all Austin.

APB Dallas

First week of shooting on PARKLAND. Here's a little tease. - AUS10

It looks like Austin might be the next of the pair to play a cop.

Will he play a patrolman in the motorcade that escorts JFK and Jackie on that fateful ride from Love Field to Dealey Plaza?

Could he be the motorcycle cop who's open radio recorded the sound of the shots?  Or the one close behind the President's car?

We shall see.

Now for off duty and off screen...could there crossing the thin blue line with someone who was just "on" the LAPD?

 A little good cop bad cop?  Or keep your hands where I can see them?  A gun show? (ala - Red River ? )

Or maybe a little protective custody?

It is a Home Depot of sort with they way they've been building the past few years.  And like the Home Depot they have various locations.

Building definitely.  They've been getter larger and growing too.

It takes a village they say, but The Haal, The Tall and The Smalls they  have enough for their own village of sorts now.


No wonder there was that big push of the
QuinnJake the Eskimo last week -  he was headed to a little warmer weather in Austin.

And now why would he be back in TX soon after being there around the holidays?

Who wouldn't want a Texas size party, and especially when there are tiny Texans celebrating.

Like it's been said before,  you gotta go big to cover big, and there's nothing bigger or better to Jake than family, or birthdays.

 Jake shared the night with his co-stars and a diverse group of movie goers from Jake's friend Busy, to former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Olympic swimmers and gold medalists Conor Dwyer and Tyler Clary ,reality star Audrina Patridge, Dancing with the Stars dancer Karina Smirnoff, and Magic Mike dancing sensation Joe Manganiello. The movie might have been set in East LA, but it got a little 90210 with Jenny Garth hitting the red carpet. And you can't forget 50 Cent.
 
 
 

Another thing to notice are the quote from the reviews of the movie on the red carpet. No small print or small time media outlet. EoW is a hit with the biggies.
