Peek-a-boo*

We see you.

From the looks of it, it appears that Jake has finished up with Everest and had taken a left hook working on Southpaw.

Jake was in spotted in Floyd Mayweather's Las Vegas  gym with director Antoine Fuqua (r) and boxing coach Terry Claybon.

Claybon is the President and owner of LB4LB™ Boxing Gym, LB4LB™ Boxing Workout and LB4LB™ Boxing Promotions.  He has thirty-nine amateur fights and three Golden Glove Championships. He owns a five and zero professional record. He retired undefeated.

Claybon has trained many celebrities such as, Matt Damon,(The Bourne Identity series, and Invictus) and Denzel Washington, transforming him into famed boxer Ruben 'Hurricane' Carter.  He was also the boxing advisor/trainer/choreographer for The Hurricane, Carman:The Champion, Knockout, and the Human Stain.

It looks more than likely he will be working in similar capacities for Southpaw.

Jake's got a lot of work to do not to get only in the best shape he's ever been in to be physically convincing as boxer, but to change his instinct of being a rightie and become a natural leftie.

With Jake moving on to Southpaw, it does make  you wonder if the tweets about Jake and Harrison Ford working together could be for Southpaw instead of Everest.

Could Ford be cast as Jake's dad? Or an old boxing coach/mentor?

Don't think Jake's the only one that's had some time inside the ropes.

Austin's had his own time ring time.

*"Peek-a-Boo is a boxing style where the hands are placed in front of the boxer's face, like in the babies game of the same name. It offers extra protection to the face and makes it easier to jab the opponent's face. Peek-a-Boo boxing was developed by legendary trainer Cus D'Amato."

Pattern Maker

Austin's back to his "training regime" which makes the gaps even more obvious.

Wednesday
Day 1 of Triathlon Training. Enchiladas and Beer on a hot Texas day! Heaven. - AUS10

Thursday
Triathlon Training Day 2- Queso and a Margarita. - AUS10

Sunday
Ah, Salt Lick BBQ. Perfect training for my triathlon - AUS10

Monday
Free Dive at The Blue Hole in Wimberley, TX -AUS10

Did he suspend the training last Friday and Sat?  Or maybe just  needed a change of scenery and food and did a Shake Shack training session in Central Park.

Is it Austin in Training

Or the Man from Atlantis

Or  a sensory rebirth experience

Wait he's done that already

Now why might Austin fly the Texas coop for two days?

Maybe to wait in the wings?

It is a  perfect place for a Wild Turkey or a Grey Goose.

You think he's got snacks for watching  Letterman tonight? You know training is a full time thing.  But what kind of snacks?  Doubt it's Kale Chips.

Texas Three Way

Day 1 of Triathlon Training. Enchiladas and Beer on a hot Texas day! Heaven. - Aus10

Triathlon Training Day 2- Queso and a Margarita. -Aus10

And then what happened there Bud?

Training get suspended for little getaway north?

Or did you miss the mole and mescal day and just gave up?

The triathlon Austin training for is next weekend.. and doesn't involve Mexican food.

It's the Land Rover TriRock Austin on September 3rd, 2012, and it starts off at Auditorium Shores.

Now Austin has two choices this triathlon.   The Sprint: Which is swim 700 Meters, bike16.7 miles and run 3.1 miles.

Or he could go for the Intermediate "Olympic" which is swim 1500 Meters, bike 24.8 miles and run 6.2 miles.
Any guesses which one he'll choose?

There are a few rules and regulations.  Wetsuits can be worn, but are optional for the swim.

Helmet required for the bike.  But no headphones anywhere on the course.

And who would need them in the Live Music capital when there will be bands along the swim, bike and run courses followed by a post-race party and concert.

Don't know if it is BYON (Bring your own nachos) But sure that Austin will find a way to get some.

Happy Austin Friday.
