Today many of us gathered around tables sharing what makes us thankful as we celebrated with family and friends Thanksgiving.
One thing to be thankful for that was on my list was:
Jake ditching that damn Yankees cap
and going back to something so much better!

Today also gives me a chance to say THANK YOU! for all of you who come to OMG and for all the friendships that have been made through this little blog about two people who found the Big Love of a lifetime.
So many of you have been there to help through stopping by, lending an ear, giving advice, sharing information, and just giving on going support.
Thank you so much! I can't say it enough.

Trust everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend.
Yesterday my head was filled with thoughts of that fateful day some 49 years ago, and of the intervening years. Those black and white television images from Arlington National Cemetary, looking across the Memorial Bridge to the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and the Capitol, as the JFK's funeral cortage made it's way towards his final resting place. Still gives me shivers.
