You learn all kinds of things doing a blog. And what did I learn today. I will never ever ever be a transcriptionist. All you who do transcribing, my hat's off to you. Please excuse the long delay. I couldn't take the swearing. Mine, not his.
And have to special thanks to Stubborn TB who download and edited it to Austin's part. And put it up on You Tube. Because I would have never figure out how to do that either.

Austin talks about not really wanting to to do OTH at first and getting locked into a huge time commitment.
Wilmington : "I love being here away from Los Angeles. You know its kinda like hiding, it's great. Small really sweet town, happy to be here. "
New Movie: "I got really lucky I got to do this movie, the last three Fridays, flew to LA on Thursday morning, shot this great little independent film on two different Fridays, and um it's called Beautiful Boy. And its a, Michael Sheen and Maria Bello who are both just knock, knock dead amazing actors.
"I never work in Los Angeles it's always somewhere on location. I don't know what it is like to work in Los Angeles" that was until he did Beautiful boy. He goes on to talk about what it's like to film on location in LA, and that were photographs taking pictures of them shooting. Hey where are those pictures??? : )
What has Austin learned since starting on OTH a year ago? "mostly I learned a lot about politics." So what is going on behind the scenes as the last 3 original cast members try to make the most of their time on on OTH. It is interesting to note that the three all have directed episodes this season. He goes on to say that he learned thing at OTH that he has never learned anywhere else and that has nothing to do with acting.
"Yeah I'm interested in directing, And some day I will, I don't when it'll be. I definitely will some day, I hope." He also talks about being directed by Paul Johansen (Dan) and what the experience was like. "He's definitely one of my favorite directors I've ever worked with on the show."
And the internet: "I think there are great things to be discovered in in still in the internet. And I am not incredibly computer savvy guy." Austin goes on to talk about not being interested in Twitter.

Not tonight dear....
...I've got a headache.
Oh Julian - what is up with that? Do you need some Head on?
A headache? Business got you distracted? Or is there something else that has turned you into the "not tonight dear" boy when it comes to Brooke and girls like her?
One question when sporting a fivehead does that mean a bigger Head On?
Guess you are not going to rock with your .... Seriously Alex is a writer? Or is Julian and Alex just getting together to watch Grease 2 over and over again?
Next week on OTH : Julian goes camping with the guys. Will this mean he's going to tap his inner LumberJake? (Wait is that what he does on those man of mystery weekends?)

Shark Bait
One Tree Hill has had some of the most over the top storylines on TV. Murder, fratrecide, prom-night hostage crises, getting to the NBA through starting out in career of playing SlamBall, virgins gone wild after too much whiskey, a psycho nanny bent on kidnapping and torture by keeping Dan hostage in an exact replica of a hospital room while slowly torturing him, then using him to lure his grandson Jamie into her clutches with a of bonus keeping his first heart transplant, a dog literally eating the second heart Dan was supposed to get transplantated.
At 22-23, they have had best selling novels, successfully launched record labels, and Brooke has dated half of Hollywood while having time to not only launch a clothing line, a store, a magazine, but estrange herself from her mother, taken care of a baby waiting for a heart transplant and become a foster mother to a girl who's (now) boyfriend's brother was the one who attacked her and killed the gang's high school friend oh and meet a Hollywood producer who already been to Sundance and wants her and her foster daughter to move to LA.
OTH doesn't just jump the shark - they ride it .
Shooting starts up in about 7 weeks and the writers will be soon back there old tricks. And its tough to keep it fresh in the 7th season and flesh out a recurring character into a regular. But OMG knows Austin and the parts he's played better than anyone, so why not give your best suggestion and help the OTH writers out with a Julian storyline suggestion.
Perhaps like:
Waterskis to save Brooke from pirates off the coast of Tree Hill trying to hijack her clothes line and restoring her relationship with Victoria before their secret wedding
Takes Haley's place teaching English at Tree Hill High has half of school loving him or confusing the rest in their identities
Play a tennis champion at Tree Hill Country Club for the chance to go to Wimbledon and bring back the McEnroe look singular handedly.
Gets caught in a freak natural disaster in a library with icy walls, a pack of wolves and a smiling blue eyed stranger as they try to build a utopian society with the fellow survivors while waiting for Dennis Quad and the U.S. Geological Society to save them.
Secret thumbsucker secret shame![]()
Discovers a hidden goldmine underneath waters Tree Hill with the help of magic dust, some dolphins and two twin elves (wait that's the Olsens)
Sleeps with Brooke, Victoria (Brooke's mom -Daphne Zuniga), Chase and Owen in a love quadangle set to 90's pop hits.
Becomes a Vestiphobic
Performs Dan's heart transplant using only a plastic spoon, a box cutter, a stapler and the heart from the stalker who was after ex girlfriend Peyton, with Lucas torn over his feelings between him saving Dan and and saving Peyton and holding the still beating heart.
Paul is not his father, but stole him as an infant from a monastary only to have them come back to take Julian in order fulfill the secret prophecy of Samuel
Julian is John John is Julian as told by Neal Cassady to David Milch in an acid flashback
Go for it and give your best and most outrageous shot at a Julian storyline - the OTH writers will thank you for it.

One Tree Idol?
You know Lucas always was trying to street cred (what there is in Tree Hill) and you can see him over using the word dawg! way too much. So we've got our Randy.
And Van Der Beek's character is so much of a crazy it's Totally Paula! not even a stretch.
Now Julian as Simon? Leer at the hotties? Check. Snarky comments? Could do. Extra tiny Baby Gap T? Gotta work on that.
"Show us what you got."
[Thinking ]I work my ass off! " Zzzzz zzzzz"
"Meds kicked in."
"She was a little pitchy dawg."
"I'm.... tired ....of people..... not treating me..... like.... the gift.... that I am"
"Oh shut up Paula."
"You've got quite a good voice, the problem I have is this looks to me like 10 years ago."
"What?? This is classic Brooke Davis!"
Guys... three.... yeses! (snicker)
Congratulations Austin! Looks like Julian will be staying in Tree Hill for the rest of the season.

Triple AAA Monday
A little catching up for a Monday.
Staying informed on Informers.
Sony has secured a deal with Senator Films for the video distribution and TV rights for Senators films, the first being Informers. Variety is saying that Informers will be released in the first quarter of 2009, but did say it could get moved - now Spout blog says Informers will be released in May. Think there is a lot working off of what happens with Mickey Rourke and his incredible performance in The Wrestler and what happens in awards season . Senator will want to use that good buzz to help bring in more interest for Informers.
But sooner is better than later...
Check out Austin tonight in all hipster glory working his mojo on both Peyton and Brooke? And who knows what will happen with Lucas now that he knows Julian and Peyton were once in love in Episode 6.10 "Even Fairy Tale Characters Would Be Jealous". Let's see how many more people say he looks like Shane West after this episode. One great thing Austin gets more fans each episode he's on.
Next week Austin will get to go back in vintage time for the episode on One Tree Hill, back to the 1940's with a film noir feel and getting to play a henchmen.
