With Austin joining forces with Tyler and Dean in a Hollywood version of a garage band the next thing is finding a name . But Swamp Thing? Really there's got to be some better names for the band.

While the Michael Jordan head is a turn-off, Jake does look actually rather tan in these pictures.
Not sure why he has to be bald for this role? What exactly is the moviemakers' thinking?
A cop can be stern with hair just as well as without hair. It's all in the eyes and the set of the jaw/mouth - it has nothing to do with the hair. It's all in how they look at you with their eyes.
That being said, he looks pretty good here with the exception of the absence of his hair.
I can't get over the bit of color on his arms - so used to him being so pale. The golden tan is taking my mind off of his head, a bit anyway.

Maybe bald really is beautiful.
Matt Damon and Jake Gyllenhaal are both rocking nude noggins this week and we gotta say, they look pretty damn good. Jake is chrome-doming it for his upcoming role as a cop in End of Watch, while Matt is forgoing his follicles while visiting the post office in Vancouver (where he is filming Elysium with Jodie Foster).
Sure, it's hard (and sometimes painful) to run your hands through thick, lustrous stubble, but the sleek look could start to grow on us.

I don't like the bald look on either one of them, although I think Matt Damon looks a little better than Jake.
I'm a little behind. Got real busy at work. Jake looked good with the Jarhead hair. Not quite as sure with this look, but it could be worse I guess. He does not have the best luck when it come to movie hair. Prince of Persia had to be the worst though. They should have let him grow out his own beautiful hair for that role.
IHJ has more pictures from the filming. Not sure why the actor is wearing a camera. It will be interesting to see the film technique on this one.

Picture Austin leaning over to shred something, with a tie on and it getting caught in it and him trying to pull out of it or push the stop or reverse button as his tie gets shorter and shorter as his face gets closer and closer to the shredder and his arms and legs flapping.

Happy Birthday, Special! Hope you have a cool day because I hear that heat wave on the East Coast is a doozy. At least, in California we have air conditioning, which I think is not always so commonplace back there.
The bald look does nothing, absolutely nothing for me on any man (or woman for that matter, LOL), but Jake's tongue is always a treat on so many levels. Yummy.
I also like the handcuffs. Hope Jake took advantage of Austin hanging around LA for over a month. Proper preparation is very important when getting ready for a role. Let's face it, who wouldn't want Jake to "Protect and Secure" them. ;-)
