Jake donated and signed a pair of his pair of Polo Ralph Lauren shoes to be auctioned off as part of the second annual Heel Hate event benefit for the Matthew Shepard Foundation
(This appears to be the first time Jake has publicly been associated with the Matthew Shepard Foundation)
Jake's One Love signature is kind of a reminder of Austin's tweet back in November 2012 of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' Same Love video. (Austin tweeted it just a month came out - and before it really became the mainstream mega hit it became in 2013)

"The Matthew Shepard Foundation was founded by Dennis and Judy Shepard in memory of their 21-year old son, Matthew, who was murdered in an anti-gay hate crime in Wyoming in October 1998. Created to honor Matthew in a manner that was appropriate to his dreams, beliefs, and aspirations, the Foundation seeks to “Replace Hate with Understanding, Compassion, & Acceptance” through its varied educational, outreach and, advocacy programs and by continuing to tell Matthew’s story."
