What would be December without a little snow? Or a lot for that matter.

There is plenty at Everest.

The real Everest, yes.

But what about movie Everest?

From looks of it, it appears Jake and Josh Brolin's teams are both plenty snowed.

Universal Pictures released a first look from ‘Everest,’ which is set to be released in 3D and IMAX 3D on September 18th in the US and October 2nd in the UK. While the snow might not be real, the movie's story is:

Inspired by the incredible events surrounding a treacherous attempt to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain, ‘Everest’ documents the journey of two different expeditions challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind.

Nick of Night(crawler)

It's a first look at Jake as  Lou Bloom a reporter in the underground competitive world of the LA after dark freelance crime journalism scene.

And the release of this first look is far from traditional.  The first video of  Jake as his “Nightcrawler” character surfaced on the Internet today somewhere you wouldn't expect:  Craigslist.  The Wrap.com asked  if  it's a bizarre choice for a kickoff or just clever viral marketing.

Lou seems a like a intense wound up kind of guy, and  the role gives Jake a chance to play against type.  We know from reporting that Jake cut his hand punching a mirror on set.  After watching the clip you could see how that might have happened.  You can see how the character might have been enticing challenge for Jake.

Nightcrawler opens October 17th in the US,  and it looks like Jake will have a full promoting the movie both at home and abroad, with Jake heading to Rome October 16, to premiere Nightcrawler there.  Check back with OMG for further promotion dates and events.

First Look at Loki

 So this is Jake's new look for his role of Detective Loki  in Prisoners.

Loki looks like he grew up rough in Southie/Dorchester/Charlestown and got chance to turn it around when some good-hearted cop gave him a chance because he was "wicked smaht" and was streetwise and had the drive to succeed that made him quickly move up the ranks from patrolmen to detective. But he never forgot his Southie/Dorchester/Charleston roots or his neighborhood.

Why does it look like if his slickback fell it would be 90's Stephen Baldwin from Threesome all over again.

And he's sporting some bling.

  Careful Austin might want that pinky ring.  It's no larimar or lapis, but  he'll still go for it.


So if Jake is playing a cop either in Boston, or Brockton or maybe some mythical suburb in Boston, he's going to have to show off his Boston/New England accent.  Will he reach back to all the years  and friends he has in Mass and do them proud,  or will it sound a little more like this?

So I pahked the cah in Havahd Yahd and we took the T to the Noth End for suppah. I had some chowdah and a beeah. After that we got these wicked big ice cream cones with jimmies, then we went to Sawx game. It was a pissah! When I finally get back to cah I find out some cop gave me a freekin' pahkin ticket. I was bullshit.

First Watch

First real look at EoW. And it looks good.

The POV is what is going to make this more leap off the screen and it looks like the audience will right in the middle of everything.
And Jake has got some moves.
Jake still rocks the white tee.

With EoW coming out while Jake is doing 'If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet’ it looks like it won't be LA but NYC where he chatting all about it. Hello Dave...Jon...Kelly....but will the Watch do the View?
