A Jake and Austin Community
Like today, what makes the third Thursday of November so special? It's the day France's beaujolais nouveau, the first wine of the season in the northern hemisphere is released. It's vinified quickly and gently which creates a light-bodied, unserious, very fruity red wine from the gamay grapes. Traditionally, the bistros of Paris used everything from motorcycles to airships/blimps to be the first to bring up the new wine from the Beaujolais region of southeast France. Today it happens worldwide.
And the fourth Thursday in November? It's Thanksgiving for some us. A day that bring family and friends together. Time reflective and give thanks for all the good things, good friends and blessings that have happened over the past year. It's the Pilgrims and Parades, and football games. Too have turkey (for some of us) and all the trimmings, and for most us too much pie.
And there's just one more thing about November that's special.
It was November 2001 when The Day After Tomorrow started it 5 month shoot in Montreal. Which means 8 years of Jake and Austin. Kinda makes you stop and think doesn't it.
It's been said that it was a instant thing and if you think about it and look at Jake's birthday pictures in mid December, a lot of time didn't past and you already find Austin close.
