I've been thinking about the fallout from this JJ blogger. Maybe it will take a while before it reaches the mainstream. Lakers I was in 2/06 and nothing was said about it from Jake or his people until two months later. JJ's blog post continues to spread on the internet.
10:42: The only reason why Jake's people said anything two months later, in April was because D-listed posted that bogus coming out story on his site and the NY Daily news picked it up and contacted Jakes people, a few weeks later Star picked up the Daily News story. When the 1st set of Lakers pictures appeared in 2/06, all of the chatter was online,the mainstream media never picked up on it, not even the Daily News nor the Star, therefore there was no need for any comment.
This is still strickly internet with the now lesser known blogs repeating it and repeating it wrong I might add. Also, Defamer, Gawker, TMZ, Jared, Perez, Lainey and Towerload, the major blogs have so far not commented.
Gawker did run an item where they concluded that Chris is the mysterious bf.
I think it won’t reach the mainstream press or sites. Only obscure blogs are repeating it and nobody believes it anyway. Not even JJ is updating the story. The story will fade away and will be discredited as another internet rumor. Nothing will change.

10:54: You are mixing up the gawker story that ran two weeks ago. They picked up the ONTD post about Jake and Chris and them in MV and decided that was his BF, they also posted a bunch of other Jake/Chris photos. Gawker said that there was a silly dispute and they decided that it was Chris, they treated it like a joke. They have yet to comment on this.
As this is about Austy love, I really hope he reads the HBO boards and sees all the love there in both the official and unofficial threads. They miss their John!

JFC no matter how brief changed his career. He showed what an incredible talent he has. From his role in TDAT to JFC, it was a total transformation in his acting.
It shows all the hard work commitment and dedication he has given to growing as an actor .
I think his work on JFC has opened even more opportunities for him.
They do love Austy on the JFC boards. I'm still amazed by what a great job he did playing John. I'd love to see him work with David Milch again. Hope we hear some good news about him soon.

Family friends have been together 60 yrs and yet feel they can not share their relationship with others. It is never spoken of but their love and devotion for each other speaks louder than words. Hope that somehow they will read the article.
This lady wonders if she should be congratulated for telling her story. My answer is a resounding yes!
But our silence for all those years was also partially a self-induced caution. Looking back, I think it's possible that as the world changed, we didn't change fast enough.

Btw, there is some interesting info on Rendtion at WDW. Gavind Hood had some really nice things to say about Jake. Said he is brilliant in the movie. And Jake had very nice things to say about Gavin. Sounds like things went a lot smoother on this film than on Zodiac with Fincher.

What a jerk! Whatever Jake's sexual orientation is (that is if he is now hiding something or not) I will always respect him for taking Jack's role. The challenge was not playing the role but enduring the homophobic sniggering after the movie. BBM is a masterpiece (thanks to everyone involved) and nothing, even the Oscar snub, will ever change that fact.

The following day they had a barbecue at her house with friends. It says they are worried about their relationship being made into a press spectacle at the premiere of their movie.
August 25: the day after Austin’s arrest. I think this is reported to cover the real place Jake was that weekend.

No one who follows the TT saga had ANY idea what type of vehicle Jake and bf were in when they had their backseat rendezvous nor that they were in the parking lot of Chin Chin's. The only thing Ted said about that incident was that it was near the Sunset Strip. Chin Chin's is on Sunset Boulevard.
Another new detail was that the baby is indeed coming, will be born next month and it was conceived a surrogacy agency in Westwood. Again, these are new details that were woven into the Toothy Tile saga. These new details I found interesting.
By the way, in the Jake/Austin "bedhead" shots in February 2006, they are both walking near a big black vehicle that looks like an SUV.

There was also an Toyota SUV that was in a picture of Jake furniture shopping with a big grin on his face in November of 2005. He was photographed at two cars his and the SUV.

The SUV was added very easily, even random: It's a very popular sports vehicle and BTW Reese was seen driving one several times, something that i'm sure that popped into the head of the e-mailed. The resturaunt on SS: they did a google search probably of resturaunts on the SS and found several, saw Chin, Chin thought it was funny because if Reese. And as far as the clinic is concerned: Jake lives in Westwood/HH, they again probably used google to search for clinics in CA that did that type of procedure and there you go, it's called embellishing. They had to to make it seem "new" and they also knew there was really no way to check: The police report was squashed! And the fact no date/month was given for the incident, it's like a needle in a haystack. Even the fight at the hotel with Jake and Kristen is on public recird, i remember reading about it. I read about several public spat with them.
Like all fan fic, the writer sdo their research and it's so easy when there is so much out there, It would have been better if they e-mailed him something that had nothing to do with the TT BI's, then maybe it wouldn't have become such a joke on the net.

Nanny Diaries Family Outing: A Summary Description
About to leave house. Niece lock car keys in car. Hysterical mother calls insurance company which dispatches towing company guy who unlocks said car. Car keys retrieved. On our way to mall. Buying tickets for the 1:00 PM showing. Guy at the counter says “have to warn you this is a ‘baby showing’” (in French “représentation poupons”). Don’t know what this means so ask for clarifications. Well, these are specifically designed for parents with babies. Lights won’t be put out completely and the sound will be “lowered”. Being childless and therefore considered selfish bitch, consult with sister in order to benefit from well-developed motherly instinct and perspective. Answer from sister: “Fuck them! Let’s go see ‘The Invasion’”. General reaction: Yeah! General review: 13-to-25 group: Great! 40-somethings: Craig is such a hot SOB. Best comedy we’ve seen in a long time.
BTW these baby showings are really great if you’re a parent of totally tiny little bundles of joy. Outside they have strollers and a table full of diapers, those wet napkins and baby powder, a coffee machine (no charge) and microwave ovens. I never knew these things existed over here. Do you have them in the States and in Europe? I’ll go to sleep a lesser idiot tonight.
I know that PR people cannot comment on everything that's being published about their clients but I remember Matt Damon commenting on friend Ben Affleck and saying that things can really go downhill for actors when they become tabloid fodder. And it seems to me that this is what Jake is becoming with that Jeese thing.
Destiny already commented on this situation either here or at WFT (sorry for my poor memory) and said that she didn't understand why Jake's team was playing that card and what benefits they were expecting (slap me good if got you wrong honey!).

Any way it appears that in the mainstream press Jake will be known as the guy who once dated Kiki (at the time much more famous than he was) and now as Reese's toy Romeo (again a much more famous female counterpart).
As for Austin, I'm happy to hear about his new role particulary in the light of the recent DUI incident. On the mainstream front I don't think the way he's been linked to Jake has been nor will be damaging to his career. And online, his status as BF Tile has not prevented outpour of affection for him and admiration for his acting skills (see posts over at HBO).
Yet Austin still being pretty much "untouched" when it comes to media coverage, I agree with you that the more roles he gets and the more he can establish himself as an entity separate from Jake, the better.

My sister regularly takes her kids to the movies and she had never seen this either. I wonder if this is a publicity coup or a new service offered to parents. It's a great idea as long as these showings are clearly identified, which was not the case yesterday.

They do exist here in the States. But I think they are called Baby Matinees. But not sure. I remember seeing a story about them on Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood.
Don't think they're widespread though.

Let me clarify.
If you look here at the weather almanac for the Vineyard you can see the graphic for showers but they never happened. Despite the graphic,(the forecast) look under the ACTUAL PRECIP. Less than 0.01 --that's like a drop. That isn't even a shower.

Well, I don't think those that care about movies will look at Jake as just Reese's "boy toy" or as TT. Thankfully, those entertainment shows aren't talking about Jeese all the time. The difference is that with Bennifer and Brangelina they talked about them every day. You don't here that about Jake/Reese. Yes there may be mentions in the magazines but they aren't on the covers every week like Brangelina. I think at TIFF they will try to keep it all about the movie. I only wish Jake the best in his career.

Just want to agree with ag and frenchy - the more Austy establishes himself as his own person (actor and personality), the better for him on all scores.
I'm not a Perez fan at all but I think his answers in that interview are pretty interesting. I do agree with him about most of the following:

People always printed the Jake/Reese stuff after US, OK and the reat of the rags do. People are hedging because they don't have an official comment from anyone, odd since that didn't stop them from printing that why Reese took Jake back story a few issues back.

Turning out to be a good week for Austin after all. Despite beginning with a night in the cells last Friday. Then his bf/f spends the following evening at dinner with Reese.

Watching E! News last night and they were talking about Wenty needing a new love so look out ladies and Ryan Seacrest was pretending to be interested in some actress and I just thought this isn't right.

AngryTB (aka Scylla)- I think it's such a shame for E! News to say that Wenty needs a new love when he seems so happy with Luke McFarlane. They are a cute couple. Even Wonting Witch, who runs the Wet for Went blog, (and admittedly lusts over Wenty and wants him for herself)supports this pairing. Why should Wenty have to hide this relationship?

I don't think we'll have to endure a month with nothing to get us through. I'm pretty sure Ted will give us something to sustain us when he gets back from vacation.
To be honest, I'm not sure why so many are so down. We knew this Eese thing was coming. Plus, Ted has told us several times that Eese is not for real. And he's told us that J&A are quietly domesticating. It's not pics, but it's enough for me.

Special I think it will be impossible if not disingenuous to ignore Jeese. Whether we like it or not, this showmance is a phase in Jake’s career that we have to acknowledge. How he deals with it will be quite instructive IMO.
I would mind if we started to have endless discussions and arguments on petty Jeese details but I’m quite confident this won’t happen. If I look at this thread for example, I see a good balance of Austy love, Jeese news and comments, general gossip, serious stuff, personal thoughts and doubts, fun stuff, etc. Also, your visible presence on the blog helps in reminding us why we’re all here.
I think we have a good thing going on and I’m sure that even bad news won’t prevent us from having fun together.
I'm an incorrigible babbler. I'm going to shut up for the next few hours. :D
Guys, JJ speaks about "outing" Jake in this interview. Its pretty intense. He also says the story is going to be in "In Touch" Magazine next week.

The link is to an audio interview, and it takes a few minutes to load but if you wait it will start playing.
JJ is asked by the interviewers what is new on his blog, and he replies that he outed Jake this week and the story will be in In Touch magazine. They ask about Reese, and JJ says its to promote the movie. They ask what proof he has, and he says he has pictures from an ex-boyfriend that he can't post, but that are insurance if anyone tries to come after him for posting the story.
I have to admit I feel bad for Jake even though I'm intrigued by the story.
How mainstream is "In Touch"?
Very mainstream, Frenchy. Its basically like US weekly, Life&Style, People, etc.
Frenchy, it is a mainstream magazine and has foreign editions in many countries. I doubt it will publish an outing.
That JJ guy sure sounds extremely confident and he doesn't let go of Jake. Do you think In Touch may have made promises it does not intend to keep, if only to check how reliable his info is?
So JJ says this interview will come out next week, right? At least we don't have long to wait!
My take on In Touch is that it usually does not publish things that celebs do not like. I have a hard time imagining it publishing an outing. We will see quite soon, won't we?

Whosthat, I have a feeling that Jake's team is keeping tabs or being kept informed on what's being said about Jake on blogs and websites. After all, the Internet is the only place where you can get your regular dose of Jake (both news and pics). His people may not react to everything that's being posted but they are probably regularly taking the pulse of his online fandom.
Of course this is a just a strong intuition and I may be wrong.

Frenchy, DO NOT ENCOURAGE TOM!!! When his first question was printed, I had to deal with text messages from him telling me he is a god! His head is now too big to fit in any hats. If Ted prints another one of Tom's questions, we will not be cool enough for him to associate with anymore!
